Assembly of Side Rails
- Before installing the side rails, raise the bed to the highest position and remove any objects or accessories that could become entrapped in the side rail.
- Position the side rail in the desired location, ensuring a maximum safety distance of 60mm between the side rail and the headboard, and a minimum safety distance of 318mm between the side rail and the footboard.
- Place the U-shaped brackets on the sides of the bed. Pass the round head screw through the hole in the moorings, with the head towards the outside of the bed. Put the washer on and fasten with the locking nut. Ensure it is very tight.
Note: The designer recommends that the railing be placed with the automatic locking system facing the head of the bed (folding the railing from head to foot). This ensures that the risk of entrapment of the patient on the headboard side is minimized.

- The fold-down side rail is a one-piece rail that extends along the side of the bed from the head to the foot section.
- When the side rail is in the raised position, the automatic locking system holds the rail in place.
- The side rails are safe and easy to use, as the system used to attach them folds when they are lowered, helping to prevent patients from catching themselves or having accidents.
- They can be used on any kind of bed by adapting the bed’s fitting to the frame section.
- The fitting takes a 50mm x 20mm frame up to a maximum of 70mm x 40mm.
- When the side rail is lowered, it is the same height as the bed frame
