- Cut protection and thermal insulation out of KEVLAR®, polyester and glass fiber
- Large leather loop as a convenient donning aid, as well as for fastening to the belt
- with knitted cuff
The protective gloves meet the requirements of the European PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and protect against mechanical risks (abrasion, cut, tear, puncture resistance), which are covered in the standards on which the certification is based. No protection against the impact of large molten metals – category III.
The standards applied are EN 388:2016 (protective gloves for protection
against mechanical risks) and
EN 420:2003+A1:2009 (protective gloves – general requirements).
DESCRIPTION
The protective glove HERO is designed to protect your hands against mechanical
risks – especially cuts. By using only heat-resistant materials, the HERO
model also protects against thermal risks. In addition, the gloves are
characterized by their excellent tactility (finger sensitivity). HERO complies
with the requirements of
European Standard 388:2016, and the gloves do not contain substances known to
cause allergies. The materials used comply with the requirements of EN 420 for
pH.
The gloves comply with the essential health and safety requirements of
Regulation (EU) 2016/425.
APPLICATION
- The gloves should be used according to its purpose.
- Before every use, the gloves should be checked for possible damage.
- Damaged gloves reduce the protective properties. The gloves should be kept clean.
- Gloves that have become wet must not be dried by means of heating equipment.
- Improper use of gloves can cause serious injuries or burns. In this case, the manufacturer assumes no responsibility.
As a user of the gloves, please observe the following instructions: The gloves are only a part of the protective equipment for use. They protect the hands against heat and fire. However, they must not come into contact with open flames. At the same time, the gloves protect against mechanical risks such as abrasion, cuts, tearing and punctures. In cases where there is a risk of getting caught in moving machine parts, gloves should not be worn.

GENERAL INFORMATION
The results stated in the test report are based on laboratory tests carried
out exclusively on unused gloves.
Transferring the results to gloves after care treatment requires appropriate
tests to be carried out. The glove offers protection against puncturing with
pointed objects in the sense of DIN EN 388:2016, but there is no protection
against pointed objects such as injection needles. The glove offers some
protection against accidental contact with chemicals, but is not a protective
glove against chemicals and micro organisms in the sense of DIN EN 374-1:2016
+A1:2018.
The gloves do not contain any substances known to cause allergies.
Mechanical level of performance refers to the palm of the glove. Gloves with
two or more layers the overall classification does not necessarily reflect the
performance of the outermost layer. Performance levels are only applicable to
the whole product including all layers.
CHECK
An optical check for dirt and damage is essential. Damaged gloves must be
discarded. The expiration time depends
on the degree of wear, use and area of application. The clothing has a shelf
life of at least 8 years from the date of
manufacture. Non compliance with the notes/regulations listed in this manual
and individual stress during use may reduce the durability of PPE. It is not
known that performance levels according to EN 388:2016 change after up to 8
years of appropriate storage. The product complies with the applicable
essential safety requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/425. This is a category
II
