Product Usage Instructions

Charging the Appliance
To charge the appliance, follow these steps:

Connect the USB cable to the USB adapter.
Plug the USB adapter into a power source.
Connect the other end of the USB cable to the socket on the appliance.
A steady red light will turn on to indicate that the appliance is charging.
Once fully charged, the red light will stop flashing.

Travel Lock
The travel lock feature prevents the product from operating accidentally during transportation. To activate or deactivate the travel lock, follow these steps:

Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds.
A flashing light will indicate that the travel lock is activated.
To deactivate the travel lock, press and hold the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds again.

Connecting/Disconnecting the Beard and Body Trimmer Head
To connect or disconnect the trimmer head, follow these steps:

Rotate the trimmer head in an anti-clockwise direction until the triangle symbol aligns between the head and body.
Pull out the trimmer head.
To reconnect the trimmer head, align the triangle symbol between the head and body.
Move down the trimmer head and rotate it in a clockwise direction until the triangle symbol aligns with the “I” symbol.

Beard and Body Combs Installation/Removal
To install or remove the beard and body combs, follow these steps:

Make sure that the appliance is turned off.
Gently place the attachment on the head from the upside, then press down until you hear a characteristic click.
To remove the comb, slowly lift and pull it upwards from the front and back sides.

Using Your Appliance
Warning: Before using your appliance, make sure it is fully charged.
To trim and shape your face and body hair, follow these steps:

Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

CHARGING THE APPLIANCE

When charging the product for the first time, please ensure the battery is fully charged. For a longer battery life, it is recommended to fully discharge the battery before recharging t a second time.
Charge the appliance for 90 minutes until it is completely charged before starting to use it for the first time.
If you do not charge the battery for a long time, it will malfunction that never charge again.
Your battery has a product life as others. If you use your battery considering the charging rules, its usage life will be increase.
When the lifetime of the battery has completed, the battery has to be changed only by an Arzum Authorized Service. Please charge and discharge the new battery according to the instructions mentioned before. Batteries of appliances which are not to be used according to be above mentioned instructions will complete its lifetime early.
Charging takes approximately 90 minutes. The appliance can be used up to 60 minutes after it is charged.
Switch the appliance off.
Your appliance starts charging when charge indicator light turns red. Charging process is completed in 90 minutes.
Plug the power supply unit into a socket.
Do not leave the appliance permanently connected to the mains power socket.
Always switch the beard trimmer off and unplug the plug from the charger socket after charging is complete.

To extend the lifespan of the beard trimmer battery

Do not charge the battery every day. Preferably discharge the battery completely every six months and then charge for 90 minutes.
Do not charge the appliance for longer than the recommended charge time. Overcharging reduces the lifespan of rechargeable batteries.
If the appliance is not to be used for a prolonged period of time, it must be charged for 90 minutes before putting it away.

Charging Indicator Light

The solid white light turns on while the product is operating.
A steady red light turns on while charging.
Red light flashes during low battery warning.

Travel Lock
The travel lock prevents your product from operating in malady. Press the start button for 3 seconds to activate the travel lock; you will see a flashing light. Press the start button for 3 seconds to turn the lock off.

CAUTION

Risk of corrosive substance EN leakage and explosion. Batteries shall NOT be disassembled, exposed to excessive heat such as that caused by sunlight, fire or similar sources. Charge your appliance at room temperature. The appliance shall not be charged at the temperatures under the 0°C and over 45°C. The charging unit may heat during charging the appliance.

CONNECTING/DISCONNECTING THE BEARD AND BODY TRIMMER HEAD
Rotate trimmer head by anti-clockwise direction until triangle symbol was aligned between head and body then pull out trimmer head.

Align triangle symbol between head and body. Move down the trimmer head. Rotate trimmer head by clockwise direction until triangle symbol was aligned with “I” symbol.

BEARD AND BODY COMBS INSTALLATION/ REMOVAL

Make sure that the appropriate head is installed on the device. Caution! The device must be turned off.

Gently place the attachment on the head from the upside, then press down.
A characteristic “click” will be heard.
Taking out the beard and body trimmer comb slowly from the front and back sides of the comb to lift and pull the comb upwards.

USING YOUR APPLIANCE
WARNING:

Switch the appliance off before changing any accessories.
DO NOT use this appliance if there are visible signs of damage. DO NOT use the appliance if the blades are damaged or do not work properly.
Make sure that your beard is dry and clean, with no residue of hairspray, mousse, gel or other hair products.
Lubricate the blades of the appliance before each use. Clean the appliance blades using the brush provided and lubricate again.

Trimming and Shaping Face and Body Hair

Make sure that the trimmer is turned off. Install the selected trimmer attachment for face and body, depending on need.
Make sure that the head and attachment are installed properly
Turn the trimmer on.
Slowly slide the device against the direction of hair growth. You may slide the device in both ways (frontwards and backwards). Wet and Dry Use

CLEANING and CARE

Always disconnect the appliance from the socket before. You can clean the exterior by wiping with a dry or damp cloth.
The entire product can be washed under the tap, after removing the beard and body cutting head of the waterproof product, you can wash the hairs under the head and clean it.
Do not use powdered products, abrasive liquid products or solvents such as alcohol or petroleum-based products to clean the appliance.
