Remove front bumper from vehicle.
- On TJ models, save original mounting hardware, it will be re-used.
- On YJ models, save original mounting hardware, it will be re-used.
- On CJ models, use the supplied mounting hardware.

Install the new, Warn, front bumper on vehicle.

On TJ models, use original bolts and washers in the six mounting locations, torque to original spec.

On YJ models, use original bolts and washers in the six mounting locations, torque to original spec. If the vehicle is equipped with a winch mount, install the two spacers, one on each side. The spacers are used to raise the winch mount for sufficient clearance between the roller fairlead and the bumper. The two spacers are placed between the winch plate and the winch frame brackets.
Longer carriage bolts are provided for the spacers. -
On CJ models, use the supplied 7/16” bolts, lockwashers, and washers, torque the 7/16” bolts to 42-45 ft lbs. If the vehicle is equipped with a winch mount, install the two spacers, one on each side. The spacers are used to raise the winch mount for sufficient clearance between the roller fairlead and the bumper.
The two spacers are placed between the winch plate and the winch frame brackets. Longer carriage bolts are provided for the spacers.
