About The Find My App

Product Usage Instructions
Step 1: System Requirements
Ensure that your Apple device meets the following requirements:
- Apple ID
- iPhone and iPod touch models with iOS 14.5 or later
- iPad models with iPadOS 14.5 or later
Step 2: Setting Up
- Download and install the Find My app from the App Store.
- Launch the Find My app on your Apple device.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to set up the app and sign in with your Apple ID.
Step 3: Pairing and Using the Item Locator
- Ensure that your Item Locator is within range of your Apple device.
- In the Find My app, tap on the “Find Items” feature.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to pair and connect your Item Locator to the app.
- Once paired, you can use the Find My app to locate your items.
Step 4: Activating Notify When Found
Note: This step is only applicable when your Item Locator is out of range.
- In the Find My app, go to the settings for your Item Locator.
- Enable the “Notify When Found” feature.
- When your Item Locator comes back into range, you will receive a notification.
Step 5: Keeping Track of Friends and Family
You can use the Find My app to stay connected with friends and family. Follow the instructions within the app to set up and manage sharing your location with others.

If your missing device can’t connect to the internet or has little to no battery life, the Find My app can still help you track it down using the Find My
network-hundreds of millions of iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices around the world. Nearby devices securely send the location of your missing device to iCloud, then you can see where it is in the Find My app. It’s all anonymous and encrypted to protect everyone’s privacy. -
Just like every Apple product, Find My is designed to put you in control of your data. Location information is only sent to Apple when you actively locate your device, mark it as lost, or enable Send Last Location. Data is encrypted on Apple’s servers and kept for no more than 24 hours. And when the Find My network is used, everyone’s information is kept private-even from Apple.

Let’s start the iTracker.
Getting Started
Power on / Off:
- To power on, press your device’s function button once to turn on, it should have indication ringtones indicating it is powered on.
- To power off, long press the function button till hear indication ringtones indicating your device is powered off.
Add Your Item
- Open “Find My” app on your supported iPhone or iPad.
- Allow notifications from the app.
Connect your Item
- Select “Items” tab then Tap the “Add Items”.
- Select “Other Supported Item”.
- Pop-up“Searching Items”.
- Make sure your Item Locator is close to your phone. Wait… until you see “iTracker”, then tap “Connect”.
- Select“Name Item”,Follow the pop-up to fill name and select an emoji, Click“Continue”.
- When prompted to“This Item is Linked To Your Apple ID” Click“Agree”.
- Click “Finish”and your item will be set up.

Find items
Tab “Play Sound”, to make your Item Locator beep when it is nearby. -
Find your Item Locator’s location
Your Item Locator’s last known location will appear on the map as emoji you choose during set up, tap “Directions” to navigate to the last known location. -
Notifications
- Enable the “Notify when Found” toggle, when your Item location is seen by another “Find My” enabled device, you will receive a notification of its updated location.
- Enable the “Notify When Left Behind” toggle, you will receive a notification when you leave your Item Locator behind and it is no longer in range of your device.

Note:
” Notify When Found”can only be activated when your Item Locator is out of range. -
Lost Mode
- When Your Item is Lost Under “Lost Mode”, tap the “Enable” tab, a screen etailing Lost Mode will pop up, tab “Continue”. You can enter your phone number or email address and tap “Next”.
- You may enter a message that will be shared with the person that finds your item.
- Tap “Activate” to enable “Lost Mode”.

Note:
- When “Lost Mode” is enabled, “Notification When Found” is automatically enabled.
- When “Lost Mode” is enabled, your Item is locked and cannot be paired to a new device.

Rename Item
- Rename Item
Name of the items that can be renamed.

Remove Item

Make sure “Lost Mode” is disabled and click
“Remove Item”. After selecting the option, the system will pop up “Remove Item?” and click “Remove” to confirm. -
The Item is now reset and ready to pair to a new device.

- This item can be located by its owner using the Find my app. For more info,Follow the instructions below.
- Locate the button on the front of the device.
- Press the button twice. You will hear a confirmation sound.
- Tap ”Continue On Website” for more information including any Lost Mode message from the owner.
How to Disable
- Locate the button on the front of the device.
- Press and hold the button for three seconds until two beeps are heard.This will stop sharing the location of this item.
Factory Rest
- Press the button 4 times rapidly and then hold it a fifth time until you hear a ringing chime.
- A reset operation is required to enable the device to enter the pairing state again (synchronization of Findmy also requires simultaneous unbinding) and rebind the new Apple ID account.
How can I prevent my device from being used for malicious tracking?
When someone else’s device mixes with your belongings, and tracks it over a
period of time, you will be reminded in below two ways:
- If you have an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch etc Apple device, you will get alerts on your Apple device. This feature is available on iOS or iPadOS 14.5 version or above.
- If someone else’s device finds its way into your stuff, your iPhone will notice it’s traveling with you and send you an alert. After a while, if you still haven’t found it, the AirTag will start playing a sound to let you know it’s there.
Important tips
When pairing a device with Find My app, the phone will link to the Apple server. Pairing may fail because of network problems. The following action is recommended:
- A. Change the phone’s network, such as switching between WiFi and mobile. The first pairing may takes a long time, please wait patiently.
- B. Reset your item.
- C. Repair with “Find My” APP.
- When “Lost Mode” is enable, DO NOT REMOVE ITEM in the APP. Your Item Locator will be locked and cannot be paired to a new device.
