  • Q: How does the cabinet defrost?
    • A: The cabinet defrosts automatically. Defrosted water runs to a container placed in the compressor compartment and evaporates.
  • Q: Can the cabinet be integrated into furniture?
    • A: Yes, this cooler can be integrated into furniture. However, ensure that at least the following ventilation space is reserved for warm air to flow out: 50mm above the unit, 40mm backside of the unit.
  • Q: Can I use an extension cord to connect the cabinet?
    • A: No, never use an extension cord. The unit comes with a 5m long connecting cable that should be connected to a normal socket with a 16A fuse.

Product Using Instructions

Unpacking and Moving the Unit

To unpack and move the unit:

  • Remove rims, protecting foil, and cardboard corners.
  • When taking off the base, tilt the product to the side of the handle (be careful not to open the door).
  • Transfer the unit to its place using a hand truck.
  • The product is equipped with 4 wheels and 2 adjusting feet for movement on a flat surface.
  • If the product needs to be tilted horizontally during transport, it should be in an upright position for a minimum of 2 hours before switching it on.

Important Safety Instructions

Before connecting the unit:

  • Ensure that the cabinet operates on 230V/50Hz.
  • Use the provided 5m long connecting cable and connect it to a normal socket with a 16A fuse.
  • Observe all earthing requirements stipulated by local electricity authorities for correct earthing.
  • Contact your supplier or authorized electrician if in doubt.

Installation and Start-up of the Cabinet

Before use, follow these steps:

  • Ensure minimum installation space for proper ventilation: 50mm above the unit, 40mm backside of the unit.
  • Clean the cabinet using a light soap solution and wipe it dry.

Thermostat

The unit is equipped with an electronic thermostat located on the bottom frontal grille.

Adjusting Temperature

The temperature can be adjusted using the electronic temperature control unit:

  1. Light switch (not applicable to this model)
  2. Snowflake / defrost-button
  3. SET-button
  4. Temperature setting up/down
  5. Power switch (turns off the compressor)

Defrosting

The cabinet defrosts automatically. Defrosted water runs to a container placed in the compressor compartment and evaporates.

Maintenance and Cleaning

When performing maintenance and cleaning:

  • Always remove the plug from the socket before starting any maintenance.
  • Periodically clean the external and internal surfaces of the cabinet with a light soap solution and wipe them dry.

Unpacking and moving the unit

Remove rims, protecting foil and cardboard corners. Product can be tilted to the side of the handle when taking off the base (be careful not to open the door). Transfer to its place (with hand truck). The product is equipped with 4 wheels and 2 adjusting feet. It can be moved on flat surface. By tightening the adjusting feet on the front, the cabinet remains in its place. If the product must be tilted horizontally during transport, the product must be in an upright position minimum 2 hours before switching it on.

Important safety instructions

  1. To obtain full use of the cabinet, we recommend reading this instruction manual.
  2. The user’s responsibility is to operate the appliance in accordance with the instructions given.
  3. Contact your dealer immediately in case of any malfunctions.
  4. Place the cabinet in a dry and ventilated place.
  5. Keep the cabinet away from strongly heat-emitting sources and do not expose it to direct sunlight.
  6. Always keep in mind that all electrical devices are sources of potential danger.
  7. Do not store inflammable material such as thinner, gasoline etc. in the cabinet.
  8. We declare that no asbestos nor any CFC are used in the construction.

Electrical connecting

  • The cabinet operates on 230 V/50 Hz.
  • Unit is equipped with 5 m long connecting cable. The wall socket should be easily accessible. Never use extension cord.
  • All earthing requirements stipulated by the local electricity authorities must be observed. The cabinet plug and wall socket should then give correct earthing. If in doubt, contact your supplier or authorized electrician.
  • Unit can be connected to a normal socket with 16 A fuse.
  • All electrical connections must be done by a skilled electrician.

Installation and Start-up of the cabinet

Note

Note min. installation space!

  • This cooler can be integrated into furniture, but in order cooling system to work without problems at least following ventilation space must be reserved for warm air to flow out; 50 mm above the unit, 40 mm backside of the unit.
  • It is recommended to clean the cabinet before use. (See the section on maintenance and cleaning.)

Thermostat

  • Unit is equipped with electronical thermostat. Electronical thermostat is located on the bottom frontal grille. see pic. 1.

ADJUSTING TEMPERATURE

Electronic temperature control unit, see above pic 2.

  1. Light switch (not in use in this specific model)
  2. Snowflake / defrost-button
  3. SET-button
  4. Temperature setting up/down
  5. Power switch (turns off the compressor)
    • Note:  Power switch does not work as a main switch!

Temperature can be changed as follows

  1. Press “SET” button until “°C” starts to blink.
  2. Choose the desired temperature by pressing up or down button. New temperature is saved automatically.
  3. The display returns automatically showing inner temperature of cooler.
  4. It takes some time to reach the desired temperature.
  5. New temperature changes on the panel when it is reached.

During the automatic defrost, orange defrost- icon starts to blink and display shows the temperature.
This is a fully automatic operation and does not require any action from the user.

Factory setting for the temperature: is +5°C and difference 3 degrees.

Defrosting

  • The cabinet defrosts automatically.
  • Defrosted water runs to a container placed in the compressor compartment and evaporates.

Maintenance and cleaning

  • When starting any maintenance, always remove plug from the socket.
  • The cabinet must be periodically cleaned. Clean the external and internal surfaces of the cabinet with a light soap solution and subsequently wipe dry.
  • Do NOT use cleansers containing chlorine or other harsh cleansers, as these can damage the surfaces and the internal cooling system.

  • Clean the condenser and compressor compartment of the refrigeration unit regularly, at least once a year by vacuuming and using a light brush, more often depending on the conditions.
  • Cabinet is equipped with wheels and adjusting feet. Loose the adjusting feet and pull out the unit from its place.
  • Clean wire condenser on the back wall. Remove bottom cover plate and clean the compressor compartment. By regular condenser cleaning you can improve cooler´s cooling efficiency and prolong it´s lifetime.
  • Do NOT hose the compressor compartment with water as this can cause short circuits and damage on the electrical parts.

Service

  • The cooling system is a hermetically sealed system and does not require supervision, only cleaning.
  • If the cabinet fails to cool, check if the reason is a power shortcut.

  • Please inform model /type and serial number of the cabinet. You can find this information on the product label, which is placed behind the bottom grille, next to electronic thermostat, see pic 4.

Disposal

  • Disposal of the cabinet must take place in an environmentally correct way. Please note existing regulation on disposal. There may be special requirements and conditions which must be observed.
  • Costs of recycling WEEE-waste are covered by the supplier and unit can be scrapped as WEEE-without costs.
