TOYOTA MYT App Remote Controls
EXTENDED CLIMATE CONTROL
MODELS SUPPORTED
This type of Climate control is available on RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid and will be on Toyota bZ4X.
ENTRY POINT
User taps on the Climate Control button.
STEP 1
User is presented with the Climate Control feature where he/she can set the
desired temperature and activate heating/defrost modules, depending on the
availability per car model and package.
STEP 2
User is informed of the security & legality of the feature. This overlay is
always displayed before activating Climate Control unless the user ticks the
“Don’t show me again” button.
STEP 3
The request for activating Climate Control is initiated.
STEP 4
User is informed of the successful activation of the service. Expected time
for the climate to be initiated is 10-30 seconds.
STEP 5
As long the Climate Control is running, the user can check the following details:
- Timestamp when the data was last refreshed
- Set temperature
- Approximate time remaining
- Activated heating/defrost modules
When the Climate Control is running, the icon on the Car Section screen will be animated.
EXTENDED CLIMATE CONTROL – SCHEDULE
ENTRY POINT
The user can access the Schedule on Climate Control screen while Climate
Control is running (right screen) and when it’s off.
Schedule button when Climate Control is running.
STEP 1
The user can view the list of schedules and summary of the schedule. Each
schedule can be disabled from the list with the toggle button. Up to 10
schedules can be saved.
STEP 2
There are two types of Schedules: One-time schedule
STEP 3
Repeat: user can select several days in the week
STEP 4
After the Schedule is saved, it will be visible on the Schedule List.
EDITING A SCHEDULE
The user can also Edit the schedule by tapping on the Schedule
DELETE A SCHEDULE
Delete the schedule by swiping left (or while editing)
PAUSE A SCHEDULE
Pause the schedule (using the toggle button)
Paused schedules will appear grey in the Schedule List
