Product Usage Instructions
Step 1: Download the Camera Firmware
Download the camera firmware according to your camera’s model number:
- Tapo C310 V1
- Tapo C310 V2
- TC65 V1
- Tapo C320WS V1
Once downloaded, unzip the file to reveal the .bin file.
Step 2: Connect the Problem Tapo Camera to the Computer
Connection Topology 1: Tapo Camera —- Router —- PC
- Connect the Tapo camera to the router using an Ethernet cable.
- Connect the computer to the router using another Ethernet cable.
- Change the IP settings of the computer network card:
- IP address: in the 0 (Zero) network segment, e.g., 192.168.0.123
- Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Connection Topology 2: Tapo Camera — Ethernet — PC
- Connect the Tapo camera to the computer using an Ethernet cable.
- Change the IP settings of the computer network card:
- IP address: in the 0 (Zero) network segment, e.g., 192.168.0.123
- Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Step 3: Upgrading via Web Interface
Note : The web interface may vary depending on the camera model, hardware, or firmware versions.
- Launch a browser on the computer and visit http://192.168.0.10
- Click “Browse” to locate the path of the firmware file you downloaded.
- Click “Upgrade”. Do not interrupt the power supply during the upgrade process.
Once the upgrade is complete, you will see a “Upgrade Success” message.
