Installation of aftermarket rear view camera
+Fitment to BMW E9X LCi models
E91 Rear View Camera

Installation of rear-view camera with Carplay MMi Box (automatic transmission)
– Connect the RED (CAMERA 12v) power cable from the CAM-USB cable to the red RCA Camera power cable.
– Connect the Yellow RCA Female connector to the RCA Camera Male cable.
– Connect the RCA Camera Male Connector to the Camera Female connector.
– Connect POWER Cable to the camera power connector. NO NEED to connect black ground cable

Manual transmission
1.Connect the reverse camera port which is labeled“ CCD CVBS ”wire
2.Connect the labeled“360-DET ”wire to camera power wire
3.Connect the rear light wire to the camera power wire of the rear view camera. between them a rectifier is connected.
4.The black wire next to the power cord on the camera side needs to be grounded
5.Choose ‘360 camera” in the setting
Installation of the camera to E91 models

Use sharp knife and carefully cut horizontally the actuator holder plane, remove the actuator with the piece of the holder. Make sure you will leave the plastic guiding rivets on the main housing. (See picture no.2)

Insert the handle camera combination in the original handle slot. Previously removed piece will allow to fit it.

Put some glue on the removed actuator and fix it back to its position on the guiding rivets. Test the actuator.
