To plug in a cord that was disconnected on the inside of the player, I had to unscrew the top and open it up. It never disconnected internally or came undone during processing or shipping, for whatever reason.
Is there a secret to getting the turntable to spin on the first try?
If the tone arm is not shifted, the turntable will not spin. Alternately, disable Bluetooth.

This record player is fantastic! For replacement needles, I got the Soofotoo 3 pack red one-size universal turntable replacement stylus needles. Hope this is useful.
Is the cover totally removable?
I removed the screws from the back hinges, and now the cover latches in front and can be entirely on or totally off. It’s on a shelf that has a low profile.
A turntable can be used without a receiver, but how?
