Light Distribution Angle
AVERAGE BEAM ANGLE (50%): 116.5 DEG
UNIT:cd Luminous Intensity Distribution 1
The lighting distribution angle determines how light spreads from a source and
impacts its illumination. Two main types exist:
symmetric and asymmetric.
Symmetric Lighting: This emits light evenly in all directions, forming a cone-shaped pattern. Great for general lighting in large areas, it’s used for tasks like area illumination, security, and perimeter lighting. Also applied in up-lighting.
Asymmetric Lighting (Beam Angle): This directs light in a specific direction, reducin glare and spill. Ideal for task lighting, it’s common in settings like landscapes, retail stores, and museums.
Note: Reflectors, lenses, and source-to-surface distance can affect the lighting distribution angle.
