Product Usage Instructions
Power Management:
The camera has a smart power saving system that automatically turns off the
camera if it stays static for 3 minutes. To disable this function, follow
these steps:
- Open the LOOKING CAM APP.
- Navigate to the settings menu.
- Find the option to disable auto power off.
Live View Issues:
If your live view is black, try turning off the BLUETOOTH and VPN
connections and then try again.
Date & Time Setting:
The date and time will automatically update when you connect to Wi-Fi.
Therefore, manual setting is not required.
Firmware Update:
If a new firmware is available, you can update it using one of the
following methods:
- Visit our website to download the latest firmware.
- Use the LOOKING CAM APP to update the firmware.
- Contact our support team for assistance with the latest firmware.
Condensation Notice
- Due to the good sealing of LOOKING waterproof camera, condensation may form on the lens case during dramatic temperature or humidity changes. To dissipate the condensation, twist open one side of the lens case.
- Ensure to fasten the case back to prevent future moisture damage.
- The camera undergoes internal moisture removal before being shipped, so condensation won’t affect its functions.
FAQ
- The camera turns off automatically.
1. Please check if the memory card is inserted properly.
2. The camera has a smart power saving system, if the camera stays in static for 3 minutes, it will auto off automatically. You may turn this function off in the APP setting menu.
3. Please check if the memory card has enough space for saving the recording files.-
Why my live view is black?
Turn off the BLUETOOTH and VPN and try it again. -

FAQ
- I can’t connect the APP.
1. Please check if you’ve turned on your phone and camera’s Wi-Fi. Is the camera’s blue light flashing? If the blue light doesn’t appear, it means that the camera’s Wi-Fi is not turned on. Turn on the Wi-Fi by quick pressing the key button twice (the blue light will be flashing). Find the camera in your phone’s Wi-Fi settings page and connect to the camera.
2. Please check that you connect to Wi-Fi, and not Bluetooth.
3. Please check the flashing of the lights, if you see 3 lights flashing quickly, this means that the camera can’t detect the memory card. Format the memory card by pressing the key button 5 times, then connect the Wi-Fi again.- The camera turns off automatically.

- Due to the good sealing of LOOKING waterproof camera, there is no leakage for air to flow in or out. It is normal that condensation forms on the lens case when a dramatic temperature or humidity changes. You may twist open one side of the lens case to let the condensation dissipate.
- Remember to fasten the case back to avoid any future moisture damage.
- This camera has completed internal moisture removal before being shipped out from the factory. Condensation won’t affect the camera’s functions.
