Zealand S28 sound card mixer is a comprehensive solution for audio processing that integrates audio collecting, processing, and output controlling. It is compatible with smartphones, tablets, and computers, including Android, iOS, Windows, and macOS. It is plug-and-play with no extra driver required. The built-in DSP digital audio processor makes it possible to vary your voice and add more sound effects to your podcast with one single button, which will make your live stream more entertaining.

  1. Power button: Long press this button for 3 seconds to turn on/ off the machine.
  2. Mic Vol: Microphone volume control Rotate the knob clockwise or counter-clockwise to increase or decrease the volume of the microphone.
  3. Mic Treble: Microphone Treble control Rotate the knob clockwise or counter-clockwise to increase or decrease the treble of the miCrOphOne.
  4. Mic Bass: MiCrOphOne Bass control Rotate the knob clockwise or counter-clockwise to increase or decrease the Bass of the microphone.
  5. INST Vol: Instrument volume control Rotate the knob clockwise or counter-clockwise to increase or decrease the volume of the accompanying instrument.
  6. INST Treble: Instrument Treble Rotate the knob clockwise or counter-clockwise to increase or decrease the treble of the accompanying instrument.
  7. INST Bass: Instrument Bass Rotate the knob clockwise or counter-clockwise to increase or decrease the Bass of the accompanying instrument.
  8. Vol Output Volume Output Rotate the knob clockwise or counter-clockwise to increase or decrease the volume output of this device.
  9. Music: Accompaniment volume control Rotate the knob clockwise or counter-clockwise to increase or decrease the volume of the external accompaniment music.
  10. Echo: Revert effect control Rotate the knob clockwise or counter-clockwise to increase or decrease the revert effect.
  11. Monitor: Monitor volume control Rotate the knob clockwise or counter-clockwise to increase or decrease monitoring velum.? Please adjust the volume to a minimum before wearing the headset, and then Increase the volume gradually to avoid damage to your hearing.
  12. Button 12-15. There are 4 preset default podcast modes. inc:King: Podcast, KTV, Game, and Studio. The user can press the corresponding button to trigger the effect. Each mode button haS an indicator light that will be always-on when on not triggered; after pressing the mode button, the button light flashes. Press any other button to end the current mode. There must be one kind of these 4 modes effective.
  13. Button 18-19. There are 4 preset default sound effect buttons. inducing: Laugh, Cheer. Drum and Sidechain. The user can press the corresponding button to trigger the sound effect. The flashes inch castor will end after the effect ends.
  14. 20. 48V: Press this button to get a 48V power sum*, for the 48V microphone. Press again to exit. “Michel” jaCk behind the device is for a 48V microphone.
  15. 21. VoicePrior: Press this button to decrease the volume of background music when you speak. Press again to restore.
  16. 22. Mute: Cut off sound from the microphone. Press again to restore.
  17. 23. Bluetooth: Connect a Bluetooth device with an S28 sound Card to play accompanied music. a. The Bluetooth indicator flashes and waits for the pair when powered on. b. The Bluetooth indicator stays on after being paired. c. Long press the Bluetooth button to unpair the Bluetooth connection. d. When S28 is connected with another device with 3.5mm cable to play background music. the Bluetooth connection will be cut off automatically.
  18. 24. C-reverb1: On live streaming via phone. bona thiS button to erase echo. Press again to exit.
  19. 25. C-reverb2: On live streaming via computer. press this button to erase the echo. Press again to exit.
  20. 28. Gender bend: Pitch function. a. There are 3 kinds of modes: male to female, female to male and girlish voice. b. Short press to toggle among different modes. Press the Podcast button to exit.
  21. 27. Magic: Magic sound a. Short press this button to enter into the robot sound effect. b. Press the POCICaSt button to exit.
  22. 28. Indicator: Power indicator. Bluetooth indicator and sound signal indicator.
  23. 29. US8 port: Use USB-A to USB-A data cable to 0ConeCt with a computer for live stream.

Useful Tips:
Each button has an indicator light that will be always-on when on not triggered; after pressing the mode button, the indicator light flashes until the effect ends. And it restores to be always-on. Or please press the button again to end the effect.

a. Connect the smartphone/computer/headphone /microphone to the sound card as shown in the picture.
b. Download the streaming app on your smartphone.
c. Turn on the sound card, and then select the desired sound effect.
Note:
Since some smartphones do not have 3.5mm jacks, a USB-C/Lightning to 3.5mm adapter is required. Please purchase the adapter from an authorized dealer.

a. Connect the mobile phone/the second mobile phone (playing accompaniment music)/headsets/microphone to the podcast sound card as the picture shows.
b. Download the streaming app on a smartphone.
c. Turn on the sound card and select the desired sound effects.

d. Open the app on the mobile phone and start streaming.

Note:

  • Since some smartphones do not have 3.5mm jacks, a USB-C/Lightning to 3.5mm audio adapter is required.
  • Please purchase the adapter from an authorized dealer.

This sound card has a Bluetooth connection function (please refer to No. 23 “Bluetooth function ), It can be connected to a smartphone for live accompaniment.

  1. Turn on the sound card, and the Bluetooth indicator light on the front of the sound card starts to flash. (Please make sure that the accompaniment phone is not connected to the sound card through the 3.5mm TRRS audio cable because the Bluetooth function will be automatically disconnected after its connection)
  2. Search for the device in the Bluetooth menu of the mobile phone and find the Bluetooth device of “S28”. Then select it to connect.
  3.  After connecting the phone to the sound card, the Bluetooth indicator light stays on.

Note:

  1. Bluetooth connection is limited by distance. Do not place the sound card too far away to avoid interference.
  2. The Bluetooth function is only used for accompaniment music playback.
  3. Please check if the “monitor volume” of the sound card is on. Please gradually increase the monitoring volume.
  4. Please check if the Mute button is on.

6.5 No sound during a live broadcast

  1. Please check whether the “Vol output” knob on the left is on, Please rotate clockwise gradually to increase the volume of the live broadcast.
  2. Please check whether the sound card “528” has been set as the default device for playing and recording live software. If not, please refer to the “Live streaming on the computer ” to set it up.

6.6 It can NOT work with my iPhone
Please use an MFi adapter which is authorized by Apple Inc.
6.7 Some syllables cannot be recorded
Since the microphone is a unidirectional microphone, please keep a 7.87 inches (20cm) distance to the microphone, and be sure to face the front of the microphone. If the distance is too far or you don’t face to the mic core, some light pronunciation would be cut.
6.8 How to connect S28 to the recording devices?
Please connect this audio mixer according to the user manual. Please scan the corresponding QR code next to the manual connection guide. And please feel free to contact us if you have further questions.

6.9 The output sound is very low.

  1. Please move the mic closer. And make the microphone in front of you.
    Tum all the knobs of the s28 audio mixer to the maximum level.

  2. Check the battery of the mixer, a low battery will cause this problem. Please charge about one hour before first-time use.

  3. If it still doesn’t work, it is necessary to check the volume setting of your recording device and the Apps.

  4. If the volume is still low after you have tried all the solutions above, please email us the pictures of the connection and we will work out the best solution.

6.10 There is a buzzing sound when I do my recording or streaming.

  1. Check whether there is background noise, such as air conditioner, fan, etc. And please check if other devices interfere with it.
  2. Unplug the charging cable and do not use it while charging.
  3. Unplug all cables and plug it again, and check whether the connection is correct.
  4. Adjust the microphone, music, recording, and monitor knobs of the s28 audio mixer to the maximum level. Unplug all the cables. Connect the headphones to the monitoring interface. If there is still noise, please try your own earphone. But please contact us for a further solution if all above can’t help you.
  5. If there is noise after connecting the s28 audio mixer with your recording devices, turn off the built-in voice monitor of the software or turn off the media sound of the live streaming devices. If there is still noise after having tried all the solutions above, please contact us for further solutions.

6.11 Can’t hear the accompaniment of AUX IN during live streaming?

  1. If it is an Apple iPhone, please use the Apple original lightning adapter (with MR certification). If your recording devices are 3.5mm or Type-C interface, please try unplugging and then plugging the cable or changing the cable.
  2. Adjust the music and monitor knobs of the s28 audio mixer to the maximum level.
  3. Check whether the volume of the device used for accompaniment is turned on or not.
  4. If it still doesn’t work, take pictures of the connection and show us whether it is connected correctly. At the same time, please tell us the brand and model of your device and apps.

6.13 There’s no sound from the microphone at all.

  1. Check if the monitor knob of the s28 audio mixer is turned on. You can’t hear your voice from the headphone when the monitor knob is turned off.
  2. Then check whether the microphone is turned on, and whether the microphone cable is connected correctly.
  3. And please try to unplug and plug the cables again. (.-S Check whether the MUTE button is turned on.

6.14 Some knobs and buttons can’t work?
In this case, please feel free to contact us for the best solution.
Tips: Since all the individuals differed in timbre, voice line, and personal taste, please try to adjust the knobs of the s28 audio mixer to find the sweet spot.

To avoid personal injury or property damage caused by high temperature, noise, radiation, We, machinery, and other factors, please use this product in a safe environment, and read carefully and observe the following.

  1. If you encounter product heat, smoke, odor, etc. during use, please turn off the power and cut the power in time, and send it to the seller for maintenance.
  2. Please do not modify, disassemble or repair this equipment by yourself to avoid invalidating the product warranty or causing personal injury. If necessary, please contact the distributor to deal with it.
  3. This product should be used and stored in a dry, ventilated, and safe environment. Do not use this product in a humid, dusty environment.

  6. This product cannot be used as a children’s toy, please place it out of the reach of children.
