Quick Guide

How to Use?

  1. Working mode
    Pick up and slightly shake the stylus or click the key to wake up and ready to use. No need to turn on or pair with an APP or Bluetooth.

  2. Sleeping Mode
    Automatically enter sleep mode after 5 minutes of inactivity.

  3. Hover mode
    When the tip is close to the screen(<5mm), stylus pen wakes up from sleep mode and a cursor shown on the screen.

  4. Replace the tip
    Directly pull out the old pen tip, then insert the new pen tip until it’s fixed.metapen M1 Stylus Pen - Replace The Rip

  5. LED Indicator Guide

When charging: LED turns white
Fully charged: LED turns off
Low Battery <10%: LED turns orange and blinking

Warning

  1. Choking hazard – Small parts. Children should use the device under adult supervision.

  2. Built-in non-removable battery, any improper usage may cause battery safety hazards and lead to safety problems.

  3. For better protect battery, we recommend not use the stylus pen when charging.

  4. We recommend using replacement tips officially manufactured by metapen.

  5. Please use the device within 5°C~40°C, and store it within -20°C~60°C. Too high or low temperature may cause malfunction.

  6. Please charge within 0°C~40°C to avoid battery performance degradation and standby time reduction.

  7. Don’t use the device in wet places or near strong magnetic fields. (Not waterproof.)

  8. Keep the device dry and do not use harsh chemicals, strong cleaning to clean the device.
    Wipe the device with a clean, dry soft cloth.

  9. The pen contains pressure sensors. Do not push pen tip for an extended period of time. Do not subject the pen to shock or vibration.

FAQ

Q: Why my stylus pen can't work with my Microsoft Surface?

  1. Please make sure your stylus pen is fully charged (Charging: white LED on, complete charging: LED turns off.) . 2) Make sure your Microsoft Surface is compatible with our M1 stylus. 3) A cursor will show when you hover your pen over the screen.
  • When charging, use our included Type-C cable and make sure the charger is connected properly.
