IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• This product should be installed and maintained by a qualified electrician by local wiring and building regulations.

• Do not drill into any pipes or power lines beneath the surface during mounting holes preparation. Use voltage/metal detector.
• It is recommended to cut the hole slightly smaller than the size specified and file the hole until the recessed unit fits snugly.
• A wiring diagram is for reference only. Always refer to the terminal markings for wiring. Ensure that all electrical connections are tight and that no loose strands are left out of the terminal block.

WARNING Take special precautions when working on heights, for example, while using a ladder. Use the right type of ladder and ensure it is structurally sound. Use the ladder in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

• No liability will be accepted for damages resulting from improper use or non-compliance with these instructions.

WHAT’S INCLUDE

Before First Use

• Check the product for transport damages.
• Remove all the packing materials.
• Before connecting the product to the power supply, check that the power supply voltage and current rating correspond with the power supply details shown on the product rating label.

• This symbol stands for “Conformite Europeenne”, which means “Conformity with EU directives”. With the CE-marking, the manufacturer confirms that this product complies with applicable European directives and regulations.
• This product is classified as protection class II. This means the product is equipped with reinforced or double insulation between the main supply circuit and the output voltage or the casing. Therefore it does not require a safety connection to an electrical earth (ground).
• This product is for indoor use only.
• This product is not suitable for covering with thermally insulating material.
• The external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged, the luminaire shall be destroyed.
• This product is not suitable to be used with a dimmer.
• The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life the whole luminaire shall be replaced.

Cleaning and Maintenance

WARNING Risk of electric shock! To prevent electric shock, switch off the power supply before cleaning or maintenance.

Cleaning

• To clean the product, wipe with a soft, slightly moist cloth.
• Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp utensils to clean the product.

Maintenance

• Any other servicing than mentioned in this manual should be performed by an authorized service representative.

Disposal
