Thank you for purchasing this product.
The detector can measure the wind speed, black ball temperature, ambient temperature and humidity, and can also be used to control the operation activities in hot environment to limit the related injuries in hot and humid dangerous environment.
Heat index can also be used in buildings, iron and steel foundries, brick factories, glass facilities, boiler rooms, mining areas, military training, marathons, seaside activities, etc.

LCD display

The main display of the upper part of the LCD is the display area of wind speed and WBGT. The display of wind speed and WBGT is switched by pressing mode. The lower left part is the environment temperature display area, and the lower right part is the environment humidity display area.
The screen has four levels of comprehensive heat stroke hazard area indication.

Function

WIND : Switch the wind speed unit. Press the key once to cycle the wind speed unit.
MAX/MIN: Wind speed measurement ， Switch MAX/MIN/Status of real time measurement.
MODE: Switch the main display wind speed measurement and WBGT measurement.
℃/℉: Switching temperature units。 When the main display is WBGT, the temperature unit is the same as the ambient temperature unit 。 When the main display is wind speed measurement, this button only works on the ambient temperature unit. When the main display is WBGT temperature, press this key to switch WBGT and ambient temperature units at the same time.
WBGT alarm Short press once, the display screen will appear a beep symbol, WBGT alarm will have a beep prompt. Press again, there is no buzzer on the display, and there is no buzzer on the WBGT alarm. Long press the backlight to light up, then long press the backlight to turn off.
OUT/IN: I n WBGT display mode, switch between indoor and outdoor mode.
SET: set alarm temperature in WBGT mode.
Adjust the alarm temperature value up and down in the mode of setting alarm temperature in WBGT.
Switch on button.

Generally, the backlight is green.

When WBGT alarms, the backlight color changes to red. Note: if the backlight is not turned on during the alarm, the backlight of the LCD will still be red.

Battery use and installation

Two AAA batteries are used for power supply.
When the battery symbol appears on the LCD screen, it means that the power is low. At this time, the instrument power should be turned off, the battery cover should be removed, the old battery should be replaced with a new one, and the polarity of the battery should be confirmed to be correct during installation.
