Before getting started, ensure the package contains the folowing components:

Read these instructions carefully and retain them for future use. If this product is passed to a third party, then these instructions must be included.

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons including the following:

• Warning! Do not open the lid while the water is boiling.

• Warning! Avoid spilling liquids on the base.

• Warning! Potential injury from misuse.

• Exterior of kettle is hot after use. Avoid contact until after contents have cooled down.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they  understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
  Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.

• The heating element surface is subject to residual heat after use.

• Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

• Children shall not play with the appliance.

• The appliance is only to be used with the base provided.

• Do not overfill the product to avoid boiling water from spilling.

• The appliance must not be immersed in water.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

Intended Use

• This product is intended for boiling drinking wate.

• This product is intended to be used in household and similar appiications such as:
  – staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
  – farm houses:
  ~ by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
  – bed and breakfast type environments.

• This product is intended to be used in cry indoor areas only.

• Noliabilty will be accepted for damages resuling from improper use or non-complance with these instructions.

Before First Use

• Cneokfor ransport damages.
• Clean the product before first use.
• Bofore connecting the product to the power supply, check that the power supply voltage and current rating corresponds with the power supply details shown on the product rating label,

Risk of suffocation! Keep any packaging materials away ffom chidren – these materials are a potential source of danger, e.g. suffocation.

Operation

Placing the base

• Use a stable and level surface for the base (E)
• Wind the excess cable onto the cable windr (F)
• Pass the cable through the cable passage (G).
• Connect the piug to the mains.

Boiling water

NOTICE Discard the first batch of boiled water from the product to make sure any leftover dust or elements from manufacturing are eiminated.

• Push the fid opening button (J),
• Fill the kettie (C) with water. The water level must be between the MIN and MAX marks.
• Close the i (K)
• Piace the kettle (C) on the base (E).
• Push down the switch (H). The LED circle (D) at the battom of the kettle ights up. The baiing procedure begins.
• The product switches off automatically when the water is boiling.

CAUTION

Risk of scalding! To prevent water from spiling over, the i (K) must be closed when pouring.

Cleaning and Maintenance

WARINING Risk of electric shock! To prevent electric shock, nplug before cleaning.

Risk of electric shock! During cleaning do not immerse the electrical parts of the product in water or other iuids. Never hold the base nder running water.

• clean, wipe with a sof, sightly moist cloth.
• Dry the product after cleaning,
• Nover use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp utensis to clean the product.
• Inside the spout (B) there is a fiter (A).
  It retains fime deposits and coarse impurites.
  If the fiter is diry, remove it and rinse it with clear water.
  – Toloosen the fiter: Carefully push the ciip of the fiter on the inside towards the center
  ~ Toreplace the fiter: Push it nto the opening unti the clp locks.

Descaling

• Fillthe product to the MAX mark with a 5-15 % vinegar solution Switch on the product. Let the solution reach boling temperatre.
• Wait unti the Imescale has dissofved.
• Pour the soluton into the drain
• Rinse the product thoroughly with clear water.
