Installing Your Device

• Pull out the battery insulation sheet.
• The attached sticker is used to stick on the thermo-hygrometer to distinguish between equipment. (Optional)
• Install the lanyard (optional)
  1. Open the back cover
  2. Insert the lanyard through the lanyard hole.
  3. Close the back cover

Downloading the Govee Home App
Download the Govee Home app from the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices).

Connection

1. Turn on Bluetooth in your phone and get close to the thermo-hygrometer (Location Services/GP$ should be turned on for Android users).
2. Open Govee Home, tap “+” icon at the top right corner and select “H5100”.
3. Follow instructions in app to complete connection.
4. Please check the above steps and try again if connection fails.

Using Your Device

1. F / ‘C Switch
   Switch the temperature unit between ‘F and ‘C.

2. Data Export
   Export historical temp and humidity records to CSV format after signing up for an account.

3. Instant Alert
   App pushes alert messages once temp/humidi­ty is beyond preset range.

4. Calibration
   Calibrate the temp and humidity readings.

5. Data Clear
   Clear local and Cloud storing data.

Troubleshooting

1. Cannot connect to Bluetooth.
   • Make sure Bluetooth in your phone has been turned on.
   • Connect to the thermo-hygrometer in the Govee Home app instead of Bluetooth list in your phone.
   • Keep the distance between your phone and the device less than 70m/230ft.
   • Keep your phone as close to the device as possible.
   • Make sure that Android device users turn on Location and iOS users select -“Setting
   • Govee Home – Location -Always” in the phone.
2. Data in the app is not updated.
   • Make sure the device is connected to the Govee Home app.
   • Make sure that Android device users turn on Location and iOS users select “Setting – Govee Home – Location – Always” in the phone.
3. Cannot export data in the app.
   • Please sign up and log into your account before exporting data.

Warning

The device should work in an environment with a temperature ranging from -20 °c to 60 °C and humidity from 0% to99%.

• Please remove all batteries if you won’t be using the device for a period of time.
• Prevent dropping the device from a high place.
• Do not disassemble the device aggressively.
• Do not immerse the device in water.
