User Manual

In order to ensure user’s safety and prevent the product damages caused by any improper use, please carefully read the “Warnings” below and properly keep this User Manual for future reference.

Foreword

Thank you for purchasing SmallRig’s product.

Warnings

• Please read this User Manual carefully.
• Do not use the product in water because it is not dust or water proof.
• Do not let the product fall to the ground, be hit or suffer violent impact.
• Do not exert pressure on its OLED screen because overpressure will cause permanent damage to the screen.
• Do not use the product in the completely closed environment, or it may lead to rise of internal temperature, which causes product failure, ignition or other accident.
• Do not look straight at the LED bead in use from close range, or it may cause visual impairment.
• Do not place the product nearby any combustible or volatile solution, or it may cause a fire disaster or smog.
• Be sure to power the product off when it is not in use.
• Please don’t store the LED light into the portable bag immediately after using. The residual heat may accident the LED lamp beads. Please wait for the LED light cool down sufficiently before storing.
• Never remove the non-detachable lithium battery without permission.
• When the battery is not in use for a long time, please charge and discharge the battery each 6-month, and provide it with approximately 60% of the electric quantity to prolong its use life.
• Since there are some hazardous substances in the battery, please do not discard it. Instead, dispose of the product that is damaged or will never be used according to the waste management measures.
• It is not recommended to use the LED while charging. It will cause rapid heat generation, the product will work improperly or automatically power off.

Please do not disassemble the product or change its battery. If you have any question, please contact the seller to apply after-sales service.

• Please read this User Manual carefully, especially the “Warnings”.
• Please use or store the product in the environment mentioned herein.
• It will be regarded as an improper use when the users are not correctly follow the user manual or use the product under the specific working condition.

Power ON / OFF

To turn the product on, face the OLED screen, and turn the power switch to the right to light the screen.
To turn the product off, face the OLED screen, and turn the power switch to the left to turn off the screen.

Mode Selection

Press Mode button to change mode between CCT / HSI / EFFECT.

CCT Mode

1. Turn Brightness knob to set the desired brightness level from 1% ~ 100%.
2. Turn Set / Adjustment Knob to set the desired color temperature from 2500K ~ 8000K.

HSI Mode

1. Press Select / Adjustment Knob to select between H(Hue) and S(Saturation).
2. Turn Select / Adjustment Knob to set the desired Color Hue from 0 ~ 360°
3. Turn Select / Adjustment Knob to set the desired Color Saturation from 0 ~ 100.
4. Turn Brightness knob to set the desired brightness level from 1% ~ 100%.

EFFECT Mode

1. Press Select / Adjustment Knob to select Scenario Effect Group from A-G.
2. Turn Select / Adjustment Knob to set the desired Scenario Effect. Each group has 3 different effects and will display the effect name on OLED.
3. Turn Brightness knob to set the desired brightness level from 1% ~ 100%.

Scenario Effect List

Group A: Flash / Flash Fast / TV screen
Group B: Candle / Flame 1 / Flame 2
Group C: Police / Ambulance / Fire truck
Group D: Strobe Lights 1 / Strobe Lights 2 / Strobe Lights 3
Group E: Chase slow / Chase mid / Chase fast
Group F Firework 1 / Firework 2 / Firework 3
Group G: Club 1 / Club 2 / Romantic

Cold Shoe Adapter Installation

1. Align the Cold Shoe Adapter with the threaded lug on.
2. Turn the lock screw clockwise to attach the Adapter to the Light.

Mounting on a Camera / Cold Shoe / Light Stand

1. Turn off the LED Light.
2. Slide the Cold Shoe adapter into a camera hot shoe or cold shoe mount.
3. Turn the locking ring clockwise to secure the adapter.

Charging the Will Charge From 5V USB-C Input.

1. Attach the appropriate cable to the Light.
2. Attach the cable to a power source.
3. The OLED display will display flashing battery icon while being charged.
4. Charging time varies depending on power source.

Notes on Temperature Warning

1. Product is used in an environment with a high ambient temperature, or if the product is used continuously for a long period of time. This will automatically turn of the product until it cools down.
2. Product is used in an environment with a low ambient temperature. In such environments, the product may not operate properly.

Service Warranty

Please keep your original receipt and guarantee card. Be sure the dealer has written on it the date of purchase and SN of the product. These are required for warranty service.

After-sale warranty terms:

1. 7 Days DOA Return Policy: Within 7 days from the date of the package receipt, return or replacement can be done if the item received is malfunctioning or physical damaged (not caused by human abused), return shipping cost will be on SmallRig’s charge.
2. SmallRig products are entitled to warranty services as of the date of payment.
   • Electronic products: 1-year warranty, 1-year free warranty service.
   • Non-electronic products: 2-year warranty, 2-year free warranty service.

Note: In case of any conflict between our warranty period policy and applicable laws and regulations of the country/region where the products are sold, the latter shall prevail.

This warranty does not cover

1. Defect caused by users’ violation of the “Warnings” and “Intended Use”.
2. The product identification or SN label is removed or defaced in any way.
3. Product damage caused by problems not attributable to the quality of the products such as improper use of the products.
4. Product damage caused by unauthorized modification, disassembly, repair and other acts.
5. Product damage caused by fires, floods, lightning and other force majeure factors.

Warranty Mode:
For the products within the scope of warranty, SmallRig will repair or replace them on the basis of specific failures; the repaired/replaced products/parts are entitled to the remaining part of the original warranty period.
