Product Information
The MOVEAUDIO S600 is a pair of wireless earbuds that allows you to enjoy music and make hands-free calls using the Bluetooth function of your device. It comes with Bluetooth 5.0 technology for a stable and seamless connection.
Product Usage Instructions
Chapter 2. Make connections
To connect the earbuds to your Android smartphone for the first time, you
have two options:
Option 1: Manual pairing
- Unlock your phone and turn on Bluetooth.
- Open the charging case and keep it next to your phone.
- If it’s your first time pairing, the earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode when you open the charging case. If not, press and hold the function button on the earbuds until the LED indicator flashes white.
- Select “TCL MOVEAUDIO S600” from the list of available devices on your phone to complete the connection.
Note : You can store up to 10 paired devices in the earbud pairing list. If you exceed the maximum number of paired devices, the oldest pairing information will be overwritten and replaced by any new pairing information.
Option 2: Google Fast Pair Service (for smartphones with Android 6.0 or later)
- Unlock your phone and log in to your Google account.
- Enable Bluetooth, Google Play services notifications, and Location on your phone.
- Open the charging case and keep it next to your phone.
- If it’s your first time pairing, the earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode when you open the charging case. If not, press and hold the function button on the earbuds for 3 seconds until the LED indicator flashes white.
- Tap the pairing notification on your phone and follow the on-screen instructions.
Note : The Google Fast Pair Service (GFPS) uses Bluetooth Low Energy and your Android smartphone’s location to automatically discover Bluetooth accessories in close proximity and connect with them.

Chapter 2. Make connections
Enjoy music and hands-free calling with your earbuds by using the Bluetooth
function of your device.
Connect with an Android smartphone
Pair your smartphone to use it with the earbuds for the first time. Before you
make the pairing operation, make sure that:
- Your earbuds and the charging case are charged sufficiently.
- Your smartphone supports Bluetooth feature, and is compatible with the earbuds. (See “Bluetooth profile” on page 19.)
Option 1: Manual pairing
To connect the earbuds to your smartphone, follow the steps below:
- Unlock your phone, and turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
- Open the charging case, and keep it next to your phone.
- Note : When you pair the earbuds with a device for the first time after purchase, the earbuds enter pairing mode automatically if you open the charging case. In this case, proceed to step 4.
- Press and hold the function button until the LED indicator flashes white.
- Select TCL MOVEAUDIO S600 from the list of available devices to complete the connection.
Note
You can store up to 10 paired devices in the earbud pairing list. If you
exceed the maximum number of paired devices, the oldest pairing information
will be overwritten and replaced by any new pairing information.
Option 2: Google Fast Pair Service (for smartphone with Android 6.0 or
later) The Google Fast Pair Service (GFPS) uses Bluetooth Low Energy and
your Android smartphone’s location to automatically discover Bluetooth
accessories in close proximity and then automatically connect with a simple
tap.
If your smartphone supports the GFPS, follow the steps below:
- Unlock your phone if it is locked, then log in to your Google account.
- Enable Bluetooth, Google Play services notifications, and Location on your phone.
- Open the charging case, and keep it next to your phone.
- Note : When you pair the earbuds with a device for the first time after purchase, the earbuds enter pairing mode automatically if you open the charging case. In this case, proceed to step 5.
- Press and hold the function button for 3 seconds until the LED indicator flashes white.
- Tap the pairing notification, and follow the on-screen instructions.
The following are some other GFPS experience you can enjoy on your phone:

Find your lost earbuds:
If the earbuds are connected to your phone, you can locate them by ringing either or both earbuds. To access this feature, go to Bluetooth settings on your phone, and tap the Settings icon by your paired earbuds name. -
Display the battery level:
Upon opening the charging case, you’ll receive a phone notification about the battery level of your earbuds and the case.
The GFPS experience and instructions above may vary depending on the Android version of your phone.
Connect with other devices
Pair your device to use it with the earbuds for the first time. Before you
make the pairing operation, make sure that your earbuds and the charging case
are charged sufficiently. To pair and connect the earbuds with your device,
follow the steps below:
- Unlock your device, and turn on Bluetooth on your device.
- Open the charging case, and keep it next to your device.

Set up with TCL Connect app
Download and install the TCL Connect app
- To download the app, you can:
- Search for “TCL Connect” in the Google PlayTM store (Android™ 5.0 or later), or App store (iOS 10.0 or later).
- Or scan the following QR code.
- Install and open the TCL Connect app.
- Tap Agree and continue, then add your earbuds to the device list.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the connection.
Notes
- For iPhone users, you need to connect your earbuds to your phone in the Bluetooth settings first. (See “Connect with other devices” on page 8.)
- For more details about the app, refer to “Chapter 4. TCL Connect app” on page 15.
Unpair the earbuds from your device using the TCL Connect app
For Android users:
- Open the TCL Connect app.
- Long press the device you want to unpair.
- When a prompt pops up, tap Go to settings.
- Note : You will be redirected automatically to the Bluetooth settings of your phone.
- Unpair your earbuds.
For iOS users:
- Open the TCL Connect app.
- Swipe left the device you want to unpair, then tap Delete.
- When a prompt pops up, tap Unpair.
- Go to the Bluetooth settings of your iPhone, then unpair your earbuds.
Reconnect with your devices
After successful pairing, the earbuds will automatically connect to the last
paired device if both are turned on and within connection range. If your
earbuds fail to connect to the Bluetooth device within 30 minutes, the earbuds
will switch off automatically to save the battery life.
Chapter 3. Use your earbuds
Tap or press the touch control area on the earbuds to control your music,
phone calls, and other useful functions without getting out your phone. Both
earbuds can be used separately. When you use one earbud, please keep the
unused earbud in the case to prevent loss or battery drain.
Music Features
Playback controls
You can perform the playback controls by tapping your earbuds. This function
is assigned to your right earbud by default.
- Single tap: Play or pause
- Double tap: Next song
- Triple tap: Previous song
Notes
- If you are unable to perform the playback controls on either earbud, install the “TCL Connect” app, and assign the playback control function to either or both earbuds as desired. (See “Chapter 4. TCL Connect app” on page 15.)
- The operation may vary depending on the Bluetooth device. Refer to the operating instructions supplied with the Bluetooth device.
Volume controls
You can adjust the volume by tapping and holding your earbuds. Assign this
function to either earbud in the TCL Connect app. (See “Chapter 4. TCL Connect
app” on page 15.)
- Single tap: Volume up
- Press and hold : Volume down
Note
The operation may vary depending on the Bluetooth device. Refer to the
operating instructions supplied with the Bluetooth device.
Call features
Answer and control calls using your earbuds.
Phone controls
Manage calls by tapping and holding either of your earbuds. This function is
assigned to your earbuds by default.
- Double tap: Answer or end a call
- Press and hold for 2 seconds: Reject an incoming call
Call waiting
If you receive an incoming call while on a call, you can use either earbud to
perform the following operations.
- To answer the incoming call and place the current call on hold, double tap either earbud.
- To reject the incoming call and stay on the current call, press and hold either earbud for 2 seconds.
- To switch between the current call and the one placed on hold, double tap either earbud. When resuming the call placed on hold, you will end the current call.
Notes
- The call control function is independent of other touch control functions. Adjusting touch control functions in the TCL Connect app does not affect the operation of call controls.
- You can not get access to the TCL Connect app when making or answering calls.
- The operation of call controls may vary depending on the Bluetooth device. Refer to the operating instructions supplied with the Bluetooth device.
Noise control function
The noise cancelling control function is assigned to your right earbud by default. Press and hold your right earbud for 3 seconds to switch between Noise Cancellation and Transparency modes. Noise Cancellation mode reduces external sounds. With this mode activated, you can enjoy music or phone calls without being disturbed by ambient noise. Transparency mode lets external sounds in, so you can hear what’s going on around you.
Notes
- With the “TCL Connect” app, you can select the noise control modes –Noise Cancellation, Transparency and OFF modes, and assign the noise cancelling control function to either or both earbuds as desired. (See “Chapter 4. TCL Connect app” on page 15.)
- To save battery, disable the noise cancelling control function when not in use.
Voice assist function
Google Assistant
By using the Google AssistantTM feature that comes with the smartphone, you
can speak to the earbuds to operate the smartphone.
- For Android users, installation of Android 6.0 or later is required.
- For iOS users, installation of the Google Assistant app is required.
For Android users, to use Google Assistant, follow these steps:
- Connect your earbuds to your phone. For more connection details, see “Connect with an Android smartphone” on page 7.
- You’ll get a notification to begin the Google Assistant setup process. Tap Activate, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup settings.
- Operate your earbuds to use the Google Assistant. The Google voice assistant function is assigned to your left earbud by default.
For iOS users, to use Google Assistant, follow these steps:
- Connect your earbuds to your phone. For more connection details, see “Connect with other devices” on page 8.
- Install and open the Google Assistant app.
- When using Google Assistant for the first time, tap the snapshot icon on the left, then enable Google Assistant to access Bluetooth.
- Tap Finish headphones setup, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete initial settings for the Google Assistant.
- Operate your earbuds to use the Google Assistant. The Google voice assistant function is assigned to your left earbud by default.
- Single tap: Stop a conversation with your Google Assistant.
- Double tap : Have the Google Assistant read your notifications. Or give confirmation in a conversation with your Google Assistant.
- Press and hold: Talk to your Google Assistant (speak while holding).
Note : As soon as you press and hold your earbud, you can speak to the Google Assistant. You don’t need to wait for a tone to start talking. When you’re done talking, release your finger from the touch control area.
Notes
- For Android users, you can also talk to your Google Assistant by saying “Ok Google” or “Hey Google”.
- The Google Assistant setup instructions may vary depending on the phone model or application version.
- The Google Assistant may not be used in some countries, regions, or languages.

Siri
By using the Siri feature that comes with iPhone, you can speak to the earbuds
to operate the iPhone.
To use Siri, follow these steps:
- If you have previously activated Google Assistant, you need to turn off Google Assistant first. To turn off Google Assistant, open the Google Assistant app, locate the setting page of your earbuds, then turn off Google Assistant. Skip this step if you have not previously activated Google Assistant.
- Enable Siri on your iPhone.
- Connect the earbuds to your iPhone.
- Deselect the Google voice assistant function assigned to your earbud in the TCL Connect app.
- Press and hold your earbud to make a request to Siri.
Notes
- Siri cannot be activated when you say “Hey Siri” even when the “Hey Siri” setting in your iPhone is on.
- Siri may not be activated depending on the phone model or application version.
- The operating instructions may vary depending on the application version.
Reset the earbuds
If you have to reset your earbuds due to connection or pairing issues, follow
the steps below:
- Place the earbuds in the charging case with the lid open.
- Press and hold the button until the LED indicator flashes amber 3 times.
Chapter 4. TCL Connect app
Use the “TCL Connect” app on your phone to check charge status, adjust
controls, configure settings, and more. Illustration and description in the
TCL Connect app may vary depending on your device model and software version.
Battery level
The TCL Connect app displays the battery level for the earbuds and charging
case at the top of the screen.
Note
When your earbud is connected successfully with your phone, the Bluetooth
icon is in blue. Otherwise, the icon is in grey.
Noise control
There are three noise control modes available: Noise cancellation,
Transparency mode, and OFF. You can achieve desired experience with a simple
tap. For more details, see “Noise control” on page 16.
Touch functions
The left and right earbuds can be assigned different functions. Tap Left or
Right, and select an option to set the touch control for that earbud.
Playback control
By tapping and holding your earbuds, you can play, pause, skip, and repeat
songs, and activate your voice assistant. For more operating details, see
“Playback controls” on page 11.
Noise control
By tapping and holding your earbuds, you can play, pause, skip, and repeat
songs, and cycle between the selected noise control modes. Tap Noise control
to customize which modes to switch between.
Google voice assistant
By tapping and holding your earbuds, you can listen to notifications, talk to
or stop using Google Assistant. For more information, refer to “Voice assist
function” on page 13.
Volume contro l
By tapping and holding your earbuds, you can increase or decrease the volume.
For more information, see “Volume controls” on page 11.
No opeation
Disable the touch control feature to prevent unintended actions.
Wearing detection
When you remove an earbud, audio pauses on both earbuds. To resume audio,
reinsert the earbud within 15 seconds. The wearing dection function is enabled
by default.
Note
The wearing detection function may not work properly if the earbuds are not
worn correctly.

Firmware upgrade
Update your earbuds’ firmware for the latest features. Tap Firmware update to
check the firmware version. Follow the on-screen instrutions to update your
firmware if a new update is available.
