 Preface

Thank you for purchasing AIMIBO wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver kits. Before use, please read this guide carefully and use the device correctly.

 Precautions

  • Do not touch this product or cable with wet hands.

  • Do not expose this product to humidity, direct sunlight, dust and fumes, and high temperature places such as inside the car or near heating equipment.
    ▲ May cause malfunction, electric shock, etc.

  • Please avoid foreign particle such as liquids and metals from entering the inside of this product.
    ▲ It may be the cause of electric shock, fire, or malfunction.

  • Do not cause strong vibration or shock to this product.
    ▲ May cause malfunction, damage, etc.

  • Make sure that the product cables and cables connecting the device are not pressed on by furniture, or caught in doors. Do not pull or bend the cables. Do not pull or bend the cables.

 Restrictions

  • Since the resolution of the transmitter can reach up to 1080P, the transmitter can output up to 1080P picture quality when transmitting HDMI signals.
  • Since the resolution of the receiver can support up to 4K, when the phone or tablet is connected to the receiver alone, the 4K content can be output to the display through the screen casting function
    • The default resolution is 1080P. You can change the receiver˜s resolution by logging into your phone˜s settings page.
  • Due to HDCP limitations, the paid content cannot be output to the display via smartphones and tablets.
  • When working through solid or metal wall, the transmission range will be shortened to around 32FT/10M.

  • Wireless Transmission

    • Wireless screen mirroring can be achieved by simply connecting the transmitter to a video output device such as a computer or camera that supports HDMI output, and connecting the receiver to a display device such as an LCD monitor, TV or projector.
    • The transmitter and receiver has been paired before leaving the factory, and simply connect to start transmitting signal automatically. No complicated software settings are required.
  • HDMI and USB-C interface 2-in-1
    HDMI and USB-C interfaces are on the same transmitter, which can support most HDMI and USB-C devices (notebooks, tablets, mobile phones, etc.).

  • Switch among multiple transmitters
    With simple pairing, up to 8 separate transmitters can be connected with one receiver simultaneously. Click the button to switch the HDMI output devices.

  • Mobile phones and tablets can directly cast the screen through the receiver
    No transmitter required, just plug the receiver to TV, then your phone/pad can wirelessly cast video/audio to it. Supports 4K resolution.5 This product has obtained a number  of certifications

 Operating Instructions

Hardware installation

  • Connect the receiver Use a USB cable to connect the receiver’s Type-C port for power supply (please use a 5V/2A AC adapter).

  • Use an HDMI/VGA cable to connect the receiver’s HDMI/VGA port to a TV/projector, etc.

  • After the system interface appears, Single click the function key of the receiver to select the language. Double-click the  function key to confirm the language and enter the blue screen interface.

  • Connect the transmitte r Connect the HDMI/USB C port of the transmitter to a computer,etc. For stable transmission, we recommend that you plug an external AC adapter (voltage: 5V 2A) to the transmitter. To prevent insufficient power supply, resulting in dropped links or other issues. 

  • After the indicator light flashes quickly, wait for about 10 seconds to start casting.

pairing method The product has been paired before leaving the factory. If pairing fails or needs to be paired again in other cases, please refer to the following steps:

  • Connect the receiver to the display and power supply, and connect the transmitter to a wall charger and PC/Notebook, etc.
  • Please press and hold the function button of the receiver for about 3 seconds, and the interface will pop up with the prompt: Release the button to pair with EZCast TX. It means the receiver enters pairing mode.

Note : If you press and hold the function key for more than 10 seconds, the receiver will automatically initialize the program and re-enter the language selection interface.

  • Press and hold the transmitter function button for 3 seconds. When indicator light is off, release the button, then indicator light would flashes quickly after restarting. Wait for the transmitter indicator to stay on and “Pairing-OK” appears on the TV screen, which means the pairing is successful.
  • Icon “1 “appears in the upper right corner of the blue screen interface, indicating that the pairing is successful. After waiting for a few seconds, the picture will be automatically transmitted to the receiving display.

Note: If pairing takes too long, the receiver may automatically exit pairing mode. In this case, please repeat the above steps to pair again.

The method of switching transmitters
One receiver can be paired with up to 8 transmitters simultaneously. When multiple transmitters are paired, you can switch among them by clicking the function buttons of the transmitters.

  • Click the function key of the working transmitter 1, and the screen of the receiving end will return to the blue screen interface.
  • Click the function key of transmitter 2, the interface of PC2 will be transmitted to the receiver.

Steps to directly connect the phone to the screen
Connect your home WIFI router When using it for the first time, please connect the device to your home WIFI router first

  • Click WIFI on your phone settings page, connect your phone to the Receiver’s WI-FI. (Device name is RX-Bxxxxxxx, the default password is 12345678).
  • Turn on phone/pad browser, input 192.168.203.1, and enter the receiver settings page.
  • Click Internet, and select your home WIFI. Enter the password of your home WIFI and click “Enter”.This function applies to iPhone/iPad/Android devices.

Apple iOS System – Operation Steps of Mirroring

  • Connect your iPhone to the same network as the receiver (same home router WIFI).  If the product fails to connect with same home router, please click WIFI in the phone settings page, and find the receiver hot spot and connect it. (RX-BXXXXXXX, password: 12345678)
  • Swipe the screen to enter the Apple Device Control Center. iPhone X or iPad with iPadOS 13 or later version: Swipe down from the top right corner of the screen. iPhone 8 or versions before iOS 11: Swipe up from the bottom of the screen. Turn on “Screen Mirroring” and select “RX-BXXXXXXX” in the list.
  • Depending on the version of the system, the icon of screen mirroring may be different.
  • Open the phone settings, and find the cast function of your phone. Select the receiver “RX-Bxxxxxxx” as the target.  The setting path of the cast function of different brands of phones/tablets:
    • Huawei: Settings >Wireless Projection/Multi-screen Interactive
    • Xiaomi: Settings > Connection & Sharing > Cast (Turn on cast)
    • Samsung : Swipe screen from top to bottom – Smart View
    • Lenovo: Settings – Display – Cast/Wireless Display
    • Meizu: Settings – Display – Projection Screen
    • Vivo: Settings – Other networks and connections – Smart Mirroring – Screen mirroring
    • OPPO: Settings – Other Wireless Connections > Screencast
  • Method2 The steps to use Google Home (please confirm that the device is connected to your home WIFI router) (Please confirm that the product or mobile phone you purchased support the Google
  • Turn on the Android phone WIFI and confirm that the phone WIFI and the receiver are connected to the same WIFI router network.
  • Open Google home, wait for about 10 seconds, search for the device SSID (RX-BXXXXXXX) and click to achieve screen mirroring.
  • If can’t find the receiver SSID, refresh the Google Home homepage, confirm that your home WiFi appears in the upper right corner of the blue screen, and also make sure that your Android phone is connected to the same network as the device, or restart your phone.

  1. Internet: Used for receiver to connect home WIFI router.
  2. Resolution: Select the resolution of the receiver.
  3. Display mode: Change the ratio of the output screen.
  4. Language: Change the language of the setting page.
  5. Password: Set the password for the receiver.
  6. Device Name: WIFI name of the receiver.
  7. Compatibility mode: Turn on or off compatibility mode.
  8. WiFi channels: Select 2.4G/5G.
  9. Airplay: Select how you want to output the image.
  10. Upgrade:Update the system version.
  11.  pair with EZCast TX:Put the receiver into pairing mode.
  12.  Restart: Reset the receiver.
  13.  Factory reset: Restore the initial settings.

 Frequently asked questions

  • The wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver not working properly

    • Pairing is canceled. Please re-pair the transmitter and receiver. The signal of the receiver antenna is not read properly. Please reconnect the receiver in the following order. Please connect the RX and power supply first. After the indicator light is on, connect the HDMI cable to the
    • monitor. Insufficient power supply. Use a stable 5V/2A adapter to power the transmitter and receiver.
  • Pairing failed

    • Insufficient power supply. Please use a stable 5V/2A adapter to power the transmitter and receiver. When pairing, please press and hold the TX until the indicator turns off, and then release the button. Note : The indicator will only go off briefly for 1-2 seconds and then enters a
    • flashing state. Please release the button once the indicator light is off because pressing and holding the TX function key for a long time will reset the TX.
  • The screen frequently returns to the blue screen interface

    • Please set the device (PC) connected to the transmitter to not enter sleep mode. Please reconnect the transmitter with an 5V/2A AC adapter.
  • Transmission is interrupted during use and can only be restored after a period of time.

    • It may be caused by insufficient power supply of the transmitter. Please use a 5V/2A adapter to power the transmitter. After a long time of use, the TX may temporarily stop working due to overheating protection. Please disconnect the device, put the TX in a cool and ventilated place,
    • and reconnect after 10 minutes. We recommend disconnecting the RX and TX when it is not suitable for the device, this will allow the device to last longer.
  • The device transmits only images without sound:

    • Please check if stereo is turned on. Turn off the stereo if it is on. Set the HDMI output device (notebook/PC, etc) ->Sound ->Switch speaker If the output device is a laptop/computer, please modify the sound output source and select “RX-BXXXXXXX” as the target.
