Kindly remind that the product has voltage protection, when the Type-C charging voltage exceeds 6V, the product will stop charging, please use SV 1A/2A adapter for charging.

POWER SWITCH
- Long press the START button to turn on the radio.
- Sleep Timer Setting:
Step 1: Turn on the radio and press the START button, and the light will flash and enter the sleep timer setting;
Step 2: Press the START button to select the timer time, the light is constant, and the setting is successful.
NOTES:
a. The light of serial numbers 1-7 represents timer 10-70 minutes, the initial
value is 70 minutes;
b. Pressing the START button will cause serial number 1 to exit the timer
setup and return to its mode, meaning that the setup was unsuccessful and need
to enter the sleep timer setting again.
3. Long press the START button again to turn off the radio.
VOLUME KNOB
The compass and the volume knob are integrated and the volume can be
adjusted by turning the compass.
BACKLIGHT FUNCTION
- Turn on the radio and press and hold the “MODE” button to turn on the backlight.
- Then press and hold the “MODE” button again to turn off the backlight.
RADIO MODE
A. Manual Tuning Mode
- Turn on the radio and adjust the “Function Switch” to “RADIO” to enter the manual tuning mode and you will hear a “radio” sound.
- Press the “BAND” Button to select the FM/AM/SW/ WB band, the green indicator corresponding to the band will light up.
FM/AM/SW/WB Indicators
a. FM/AM/WB bands manually turn the “Tuning Knob” to pick up the station you
want.
b. Use the SET Button to select 1-7 frequencies of SW band, then turn the
“Tuning Knob” to pick up the station you want.
B.Digital Tuning Mode
- Turn on the radio and adjust the “Function Switch” to “RADIO” to enter the manual tuning mode and you will hear a “radio” sound
- Press the button, the corresponding light is on, enter the digital tuning mode.
- Press the “BAND” button, you could select the FM/AM/SW/WB band, and the corresponding green light of the selected channel will light up.
When you choose to enter FM/AM Digital Tuning Mode, press and hold the” ” button to automatically search and store the station; then press the “ ” button to select the previous station or the next station.
When you choose to enter the SW Digital Tuning Mode, press the “f-1 ” button to select the SWl-7 band; press and hold the” ” button for automatic station search and store the station; then press the ” ” button to select the previous station or the next station.
When you choose to enter WB Digital Tuning Mode, long press the “ ” button for automatic station search, if there is a bad weather alarm will sound an alarm, flashing flashlight, and then automatically access the news broadcast, again long press the ” ” button to exit the automatic search; press the ” ” button to select the previous station or the next station.
Press the “ ” button again or twist the “Tuning Knob”, corresponding to the light off, exit the digital tuning mode, back to the manual tuning mode.
NOTES
-
In any setting of RADIO mode, the radio switches to other modes or turns off and restarts, there is a setting memory function when it returns to RADIO mode.

When either the FM/AM/SW band, the digital tuning mode indicator flashes, indicating that no signal is received in the band; each band can automatically retrieve and store up to 70 stations, and each automatic retrieval and storage will overwrite the data stored in the previous one.
- Indicator 1 is on, approximately 1-10 stations are retrieved;
- Indicator 2 is on, approximately 11-20 stations are retrieved;
- Indicator 3 is on, approximately 21-30 stations are retrieved;
- Indicator 4 is on, approximately 31-40 stations are retrieved;
- Indicator 5 is on, approximately 41-50 stations are retrieved;
- Indicator 6 is on, approximately 51-60 stations are retrieved;
- Indicator 7 is on, approximately 61-70 stations are retrieved.
The strength and clarity of the stored stations depend on the signal strength in the area.

Regarding the WB band, please note that only when there is bad weather near the area where the band is located will you manually tune out or digitally tune the automatic access broadcast and sound an alarm. When there is no abnormal weather condition, there will be no broadcast on the WB band.

When listening to FM/SW/WB radio, please pull out the antenna, expand the antenna, and find a good location for the best reception.

It is best to use the radio near a window in a place without electronic interference or steel for better signal reception.
BLUETOOTH FUNCTION
- Turn on the radio and adjust the “Function Switch” to BT to enter the Bluetooth mode and you will hear a “Bluetooth” sound.
- Turn on the Bluetooth mode of your device (e.g. mobile phone) and search for the name “RE40” and press on it to connect.
- When the Bluetooth connection is successful, you will hear a “Connected” sound and the indicator light will be constant. You could play music on your music player device. When the Bluetooth is disconnected, you will hear a “Disconnect” sound and the indicator light will flash.
- Press the “ ” button briefly to skip to the previous or next song. Press the “ ” button to play or pause the song.
NOTES:
- The optimal performance is achieved within a radius of 8-10 meters from the device.
- Before connecting your wireless Bluetooth device (such as a mobile phone) to this product, make sure it is disconnected from other receiving Bluetooth devices(such as speakers, wireless headphones, etc.).
- If you are unable to search for and connect to this product, try restarting Bluetooth or your wireless Bluetooth device (such as a mobile phone).
- This product can as a Bluetooth receiver and connected to Bluetooth transmitting devices such as MP3 players and mobile phones.
- Once paired successfully, both the product Volume Knob and the device can control the volume level.
TF CARD/USB PLAYBACK
- Turn on the radio and adjust the “Function Switch” to M.Play to enter the M-PLAY mode and you will hear a “Music” sound, then the TF (Micro SD) and USB indicators light up and flash.
- When the USB drive or the TF (Micro SD) card has been successfully read, the corresponding indicator light remains on;
- When both the USB drive and the TF (Micro SD) card have been successfully read, both indicators are constant and you could switch between them by pressing the “BAND” button.
- Press on the ” ” button to switch to the previous or next song. Tap the “ ” button to play or pause the song.
- Press and hold the “ ” button to fast forward or rewind the song.
WHITE NOISE
- Turn on the radio and press and hold the MUSIC button to enter white noise playback mode.
- Press on the” ” button to select from 1-7 different natural sounds.
- Press the” ” button to pause white noise playback. Pressing the button again will resume playback.
- Press the ” MUSIC ” button to exit the white noise mode.
NOTE: When the radio is in White Noise Mode, it is not possible to switch directly to any other mode, including the sleep timer setting, backlight function, spectrum mode, check battery, etc. It must exit White Noise Mode before then could use any other function.
SOS ALERT FUNCTION
- Please push the switch on the back of the product to the “SOS” position. This will activate the SOS sound with the flashlight flashing.
- Push the button back to the middle position to turn off this function.
CHARGING & DISCHARGING FUNCTION
A. Solar Charging
- Put the solar panel directly towards sunlight. When the green charging indicator lights on, it indicates that the solar panels charging the internal battery.
- The charging efficiency depends on the strength of sunlight. The stronger the sunlight, the better the charging effect.
B. Hand Crank Charging
- Turn the hand crank clockwise or anti-clockwise and the green charging indicator will light up to indicate that it is charging.
- Speaker has no sound: Hand crank at 130-150 rpm for 1 minute, the flashlight can be used for more than 30+ minutes or play the radio (medium volume) for 3 minutes.
NOTES:
- The hand crank can be turned for 3-5 minutes before using the product to activate the internal battery.
- The hand crank is normally used in emergency situations when the power is out.
C. Type-C Input
- Open the dust plug on the back of the product, inside there is a Type-C charging port and a USB output port.
- Plug the provided Type-C cable into the input port to charge your radio and the charging indicator will light up.
D. USB Output
- Please push the switch on the back of the product to the position, this will activate the charging output, in this mode all other functions of the product will be temporarily disabled and only the USB output function will be available.
- Connect the charging cable to the USB output port located on the back of the product and connect it to charge your device.
NOTES:
To restore the normal functionality of the product, push the switch back to
the middle position. This will enable functions such as Bluetooth, Radio, TF
card and USB playback.
POWER INDICATOR AND SPECTRUM INDICATOR
A. Power Indicator

Turn on the radio and press the “MODE” button, the indicator light will show the battery status.

Turn off the radio and press the “MODE” button and the indicator light will also show the battery status.
(When the lights from 1 to 7 are on, it indicates the battery level.)- 7 lights indicate battery level: C>90%
- 6 lights indicate battery level: 75%<C<90%.
- 5 lights indicate battery level: 60%<C<75%.
- 4 lights indicate battery level: 45%<C<60%.
- 3 lights indicate battery level: 30%<C<45%.
- 2 lights indicate battery level: 15%<C<30%.
- 1 light indicates battery level: C<15%
B. Spectrum Indicator
- Turn on the radio and press the “MODE” button twice to enter the spectrum mode, then display the spectrum on the indicator lights.
- Then press the “MODE” button again to return to the original state.
NOTES:
- When the radio is in the “BT/M.PLAV” mode, it needs to be read successfully before checking the battery level and entering the spectrum mode;
- The spectrum mode display depends on the tempo and wave length of the song.
POWER PROTECTION
- When there is an overload or short circuit inside the product, the protection chip will cut off the power to prevent damage to the battery.
- When the battery voltage is below 2.7V, the protection chip will cut off the power to prevent over discharge and protect the battery from damage.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
- For the first use of the flash light or if it has been unused for more than 60 days, it is necessary to hand-crank the generator for 1 minute before use or charge the internal battery using the solar panel to rejuvenate the battery.
- Avoid strong impacts, dropping, and contact with corrosive liquids.
- When using this device, avoid over-discharging the battery to prolong its lifespan and prevent damage to the rechargeable battery inside.
- Avoid direct exposure of the flashlight’s light to the eyes as it can cause eye injury due to the intensity of the light.

This product has a full 18-month warranty against manufacturing defects.
The warranty period begins from the date of purchase.
