PowerBoost and GentleHeat:

The induction cooktop comes with PowerBoost and GentleHeat features for specialized cooking tasks:

PowerBoost: This feature delivers very high heat, fast. It is ideal for tasks such as searing meat. To activate PowerBoost, select the desired zone and press the PowerBoost button.
GentleHeat: This feature delivers very low heat, fast. It is ideal for tasks such as melting chocolate. To activate GentleHeat, select the desired zone and press the GentleHeat button.

Using the Controls:

The cooktop features Fisher & Paykel TouchandSlide controls for easy temperature adjustment:

To increase the temperature, slide your finger up on the control panel.
To decrease the temperature, slide your finger down on the control panel.
The controls react immediately to your adjustments, allowing you to go from a boil to a simmer in seconds.

High-Heat Searing:

The induction cooktop can reach high temperatures quickly, making it ideal for cooking steak. Follow these steps for high-heat searing:

Use a cast iron pan, as it is highly inductive and gets really hot.
Select the desired zone and activate PowerBoost for maximum heat.
Place the steak in the hot pan and sear it on both sides to your desired level of doneness.
