Assembly Instructions

  1. Thread the 1/4″-20 X 3″ Screw (D) through the Spacer (H), Brake (G) and both 1/4″-20 Hex Nuts (G1) as shown in [FIG. 1].
    Assembly Instructions

  2. Secure the Brake Assembly (G) to the Outlet & Brake Side Assembly (A4) using four 8-32 x 3/8″ Screw (F) as shown in [FIG. 2].
    Assembly Instructions

  3. Secure the Outlet Coupler (E) to the Outlet & Brake Side Assembly (A4) using three 8-32 x 3/8″ Screws (F) as shown in [FIG. 3].
    Assembly Instructions

  4. Thread the Screw (D) through the Handle Side Assembly (A3), Spacer (C) and Handle (B) [FIG. 4].
    Assembly Instructions

  5. Identify where you will install the Hose Reel in your shop and how the hose reel will be oriented [FIG. 5].
    Assembly Instructions
The Wall Bracket should be mounted to a sturdy, reinforced wall (e.g. concrete wall, wood-framed wall, etc.) Wall anchors can be used if mounting on drywall. The Included template indicates the proper drill holes and the full, assembled size of the Wall Bracket.

  6. Mark a straight level line. Align the top of the Template (N) with the marked line and temporarily secure the template to the wall with a tack or non-marking tape [FIG. 6a]. Place a mark through the template’s paper at each indicated crosshair (four bi-directional keyway holes), then remove the template from the wall [FIG. 6b].
    Assembly Instructions

Note: DO NOT FLIP THE TEMPLATE! The dimensions of the template are accurate to either orientation of the Hose Reel.
The central keyway holes can be used to further secure the bracket if standard 16″ on-center stud spacing is not available.

  7. Using appropriate fasteners for the wall type you are installing your system onto, drill into and install fasteners into the wall at all marked locations.
    a. Maximum Fastener Size: 3/8″ diameter
    b. Maximum Washer Size: 5/8″ outside diameter Place washers onto each fastener and thread the fasteners into all four holes, leaving at least 1/2″ outside of the hole to fit the Hose Reel Assembly [FIG. 7].
    Assembly Instructions

  8. Lift the Hose Reel Assembly up and over the fasteners so that the washer is on the inside of the Hose Reel [FIG 8a].
Slide the Hose Reel Assembly down so that the fastener is snugly inside the smaller section of each keyhole [FIG 8b].
    Assembly Instructions

  9. Tighten these four fasteners to secure the Hose Reel Assembly to the wall [FIG. 9].

Note: If installing over drywall, avoid overtightening as it may damage the wall.

  10. Secure the Turn Key Hose Clamp (M) tightly onto one end of the Hose (L) as shown in [FIG. 10].

  11. Partially tighten the Turn Key Hose Clamp (M) onto the Outlet Coupler (E) as shown in [FIG. 11a].
Feed the clamped end of the Hose (L) through the access hole in the Core (A1) closest to the Handle Side Assembly (A3) [FIG. 11b].
Then attach the Hose to the Outlet Coupler.
You can guide the Hose by using the secondary access hole in the Core closest to the Outlet & Brake Side Assembly (A4). Secure in place by firmly tightening the Turn Key Hose Clamp on the Outlet Coupler [FIG 11c].
    Assembly Instructions
Note: To permanently install the Hose, silicone can be applied to the Hose’s cuff prior to being inserted into the Outlet Coupler.

  12. Secure the Hose (L) to the Handle Side Assembly (A3) with the Self-Drilling Screw (K) and 3″ Loop Clamp (J) as shown in [FIG 12].
    Assembly Instructions
Note: DO NOT screw into recessed portions of the Core (A1).

  13. Guide the Hose (L) as you wind it around the Core (A1) of the Body Assembly (A) so it is neatly wrapped as shown in [FIG. 13]Assembly Instructions
