Chapter One: Instruction of Button Functions
1. USB: Used for charging the device or transferring recordings
to a computer.
2. Built-in Mic: Captures the voice and records. Do not click on
buttons when the device is recording.

Chapter Two: Quick Start Guide
1. How to charge?
The recorder has a built-in rechargeable battery. Connect it to
a computer via the USB cable for charging. Once it has finished
charging (typically around 1.5-2 hours), the battery icon on the
screen will be full. Alternatively, you can connect the voice
recorder to other USB sockets for charging, such as a USB wall
charger or USB charge dock.
2. How to turn on the voice recorder?
Push the power button to the ON position. The recorder will boot
up, and the screen will light on, displaying “WELCOME” to indicate
that the machine is turned on.
3. How to turn off the voice recorder?
Push the power button to the OFF position. The screen will
display the “Bye” icon, indicating that the machine is turned off.
(When the button is kept in the ON state, long press can turn on or
turn off the device.)
4. How to record and save?
To record, turn on the recorder and push up the “REC” button. To
save the recording, push down the “SAVE” button. The screen will
show “Saved”. The screen will automatically switch to the files
menu, where you can see the file you just recorded and all other
saved recordings.
5. How to Play/Pause a Recording?
A) If you want to playback the recording you just saved,
directly press the “Play/Pause” button after you saved. If you want
to playback other recordings, press the “+” or “-” button to
select.
B) During playback, press the “Play/Pause” button to pause
playing and press it again to resume recording.
6. How to adjust the volume?
Use the volume buttons (+/-) during playback. Press “+” to raise
the volume and press “-” to lower the volume.
7. How to fast forward/rewind when playback?
During playback, use the up/down buttons to fast forward or
rewind.

Chapter two Quick Start Guide
1. How to charge?
The recorder built-in rechargeable battery. Connect to computer via the USB
cable, once it has finished charging ( typically around 1.5-2 hours), the
battery icon of the screen will be full.
We can also connect the voice recorder to other USB socket for charging (like
USB wall charger, USB charge dock)
2. How to turn on the voice recorder?
Push the power button at “ON” position, the recorder will boot up the screen
light on, display “WELCOME”, indicating the machine is turned on.
3. How to turn off the voice recorder? Push the power button at “OFF”
position, the screen displays the “Bye” icon, indicating that the machine is
turned off .

10. How to Use Line-in?
LINE-IN: Please first insert audio line into the Line in hole, push up the REC button, it will pop up two options: Microphone / line in.

When selecting line in, please insert the other end of audio line into the sound source outlet of other devices, it can record the voice from the device.
11. How to find a recording?
Find “Recording” on the main interface Recordings library see all recordings
you saved. ( is confirm)

Chapter three Main interface-Recording
Recording contains two parts: 1. Recording LibrarySave the recording files in
chronological order. 2. Recording settingscontains 7 sections
2.1 Record format MP3 Rec — 32 / 64 / 128 / 192 Kbps are available. WAV Rec —
512 / 1024 / 1536 Kbps are available. NoteMP3 format can be more widely
supported by different computers.
2.2 AVR mode It will starts recording when there is sound, and does not record
when there is no sound.
Track AVR mode—“OFF” is normal recording;”ON” is use voice activated
recording. Set level of AVR1 level~7 level can be selected.
Level 1 only picks up voice or sound above 70db, a very loud sound.
Level 7 is very sensitive, so any quiet sound will be recorded.
Note: do not turn on this function for important lectures or meetings. It may
skip or lose some very important sentences at low decibels. How to

Note: Even if you use AVR function, you still need to press REC to start
recording and press Save to save.
2.3 Set noise cancellation levels
If you want to reduce noise, 1level~7 level can be selected.

If you don’t need, just choose disable noise cancellation.
NoteDon’t recording near computer, electric fans, air conditioner, sound bar
that will easily cause noise, the recorder will pickup this statics noise.
2.4 Record subsection
30/ 60/ 90/120 minutes can be selected.Recorder will automatically save the
recording at a selected time length and start new recording. (ex: if you
choose 30 minutes, the recording will be saved when reach 30 minutes)

2.5 Monitor switch
When ON, use earphones can hear what it is recording. When Off, no sound can
be heard using earphones.
2.6 Record led When on, the indicator light will light up during recording.
When off, the indicator light won’t light up during recording.
2.7 Auto record Record on / off Record CycleOnce only work 1 time
DailyAuto recording everyday at specified time. Work DayAuto recording work
day at specified
time. Start timeset when the device start to record End timeset when the
device stop record and save file. How to useSelect ON, set start / end time,
record cycle, and Keep the Power ON position, so the recorder will
automatically boot on and start to recording at specified time. NoteThe end
time should be greater than the start
time. (volume button “+” “-” to adjust time.

Chapter four Main interface-Setting
1. Save positionCard or Flash
Select Card means any subsequent recordings you make will be saved to the
card.
If not, recordings will still save on built-in memory. 2. LanguageChange the
device display language.

4. Password set Password switch: OFF default. If you want set a password,

number screen will show “password changed”
Note
If you forget the password, please enter the password “181818” , then long
press the ” ” button to unlock your recorder, so that you can re-enter the
recorder and reset your new password.
If password function is ON, when connect to computer, we need to input correct
password, otherwise, it will fail connect to computer.
5. Backlight timer For power saving, you can choose 10 Seconds20 Seconds or
30Seconds. If you don’t like lights dimmed, just choose Always on.
6. Brightness
Use “+” “-” button to adjust the number: 0-11 level. The brightness below 5 is
not recommended, it will not be clear.
7. Auto switch off
For power saving, you can select 10 /30 /60 /120 minutes. After you select a
time, the recorder will automatically turn off when reach the time, even if
you are recording.
So it would be better to select OFF.
Note: Frequent recording is not recommended to use this feature, to avoid
automatic shutdown to lose important parts of the recording.
8. Information
Software versionView local hardware and software information. Disk spaceView

If a SD card is inserted, the screen will display Device Storage / Micro SD
card You can click on the option to see free space and total space of device
or card.
If there is no SD card, the screen will directly shows free / total space of
device.

9. Factory reset
When we mistakenly change settings in wrong way, and don’t know how to correct
it. Factory reset could be helpful. All settings will be restored to default,
same like the first day we just saw the device. (It will turn off
automatically after you reset)
10. Format Device
It will delete all files and cannot be restored, Please note to backup
important files in time.
Format directly on the recorder If a SD card is inserted, SettingFormat device

Connect the recorder with computer to format Turn off the recorderconnect
computer find the removable diskformat the disk.
Note: During format device, waiting showing completed information, and the
device will turn off, and then you could switch off the device.
Notice: Do not cut off its power during format the device, otherwise it will
meet disk error.
Chapter five Main interface-Music
If it shows “no songs founds” that means there is no songs file in the
recorder disk, or the song file format are not supported.
If you want to download music, please connect recorder with computer, find the
recorder disk, then you can create a new folder named music on it, then backup
music to the new folder.
CHAPTER Six Play Menu
When you play a recording, press M button can see playback menu. There are
five settings:
1. Play Mode Repeat Oneit will repeat on single track again and again. Repeat
Allselect and confirm this, it will repeat from A-Z again and again.
PreviewEach recording file plays only 10 seconds and automatically switches to
the next one. Shuffleit will playback all recordings or music in random, even
you press up or down button, it will not select to next or previous track, it
will be random.
2. Variable Speed Playback 0~8x rate is optional, the higher the number, the
faster the playback speed volume button “+” “-” to adjust the speed you want.
3. Sound effect There are 5 sound effects to choose from:
vocal,treble,bass,excite,relax. If you don’t need this function, just select
Off.
Delete Files during playback
4. Delete one During playback one recording, if you want to delete it: Press
M buttonselect delete oneYes
5. Delete All During playback one recording, if you want to delete all
recordings: Press M buttonselect delete allYes

Delete recordings during non-playback. Turn on the recorderRecordingRecording

CHAPTER Seven Trouble Shooting
1. Failed connect to computer
If the recorder can’t be recognized by computer, please make sure turn off the
recorder before you connect, then try different USB cables, sockets or
computers.

Click right mouse button, enable the recorder device / or scan update hard drive changes to help you find the recorder drive
2. No voice recordings
If there is no voice recordings, or you have deleted all recordings in your
device, you will see ” no voice recordings” or “no songs” on the screen. Don’t
worry, you could just go ahead to press REC.
3. Cannot find my recordings in the recorder
Please Switch the save position to find the file. (It may caused by previous
recordings are stored in its internal memory, so you can’t see them when you
look for files on the SD card) How to switch the save position:

If it still can’t be found, the recording may not be
saved successfully.
4. Press REC, but it does not record Check if you use AVR mode, if you use
it, the screen will shows VOR during recording. Confirm if there is enough
free space on the device. If not, it won’t start recording.
5. Why the recorder turns off automatically The battery has been run out of
The recorder will automatically shut down when there is no operation more than
3 minutes to save the battery.
When you select lower level, it only starts recording when it’s loud voice.
Auto Switch Off function was turned on, the recorder will automatically shut
down when reach the time you set. Need to close it in Setting.
6. Disk Error It may caused by the two reasons
1. Due static shock, like over current charging, 2. Cut off its power when
format device didn’t completed, so it lost system firmware.
How to Rescue Turn off the recorderconnect WINDOWS computer click the mouse
right button format it. (for MAC computer need to contact after-sales for
tutorials).
7. Format Error It may caused by the three reasons
1. During recording, directly turn off the recorder, that will cause file
damage, we need to press SAVE button to save the recordings.
2. The recordings time length is less than 5 seconds, like ZERO second
recordings file.
3. Computer do not support the wav file. The recordings were saved as wav
format. You could download the free MplayerX / VLC Media Player to solve this
issue: http://mplayerx.org/ and http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
How to Rescue
Please delete the error recording file, and then format the device. Before
formatting, please check if other recording files are normal in your computer,
backup them. We suggest you format the device on Windows if you can.
7. Screen is frozen, no button work Please press and hold button about 15
seconds to reset the recorder. If it still doesn’t work, please email our
after-sales team. cWhen connecting computer, the buttons won’t work.
9. It suddenly shows delete file When you don’t record or during playing, if
you press
mistakenly, it will enter delete mode. Don’t worry, just exit it by pressing
10. Memory is full When space is full, please back up all recordings to
computer, and then delete all the recordings. Do not cut off during this time,
or cannot delete file from
recorder successfully, and still occupy the disk space. NoteThe voice recorder has a limited storage at 8GB, please backup timely.
