POWER SUPPLY
- Use only the original power supply for the product. Using any other power supply may damage the product.
- The power supply is supplied with a grounding type power cord set. The ground pin of the cordset plug must be firmly connected to the electrical ground (safety ground) terminal of the power outlet.
- Do not damage the insulation of the power cable. Damage to the insulation can result in short circuits, electric shock, and fire.
- Do not forcibly bend, twist, or pull the power cable. Doing so may damage the power cable and cause fire or electric shock.
- Stop using this product immediately if the power cable is damaged.
- The power supply is conventionally cooled. Do not place insulation on top of the power supply. The heat builds up and can cause a fire or damage the power supply.
INSTALLATION & OPERATION
Failure, improper selection, and improper use of CO2 pressure reducing valves
in CO2 gas systems can result in property damage, personal injury, or death.
To avoid unexpected system failures, please note the following:
- This product is only suitable for CO2 compressed gas. Please follow this manual prior to installation, operation and maintenance.
- Follow the pressure, temperature, and other operating conditions specified by the manufacturer in this manual. Do not expose to the sun or near or touch hot objects.
- Condensed water may occur or freeze when the pressure reducing valve is in operation. Keep out of reach of children.
- We reserve the absolute right to change, modify or otherwise change the features, specifications, design, availability and price of this product at any time without notice.
- This product is for indoor use only.
FEATURE
Life Aqua CO2 series – Regulator are the high precision single or dual gauges
CO2 regulator, specifically designed for nature planted aquarium. The CE-
certified 12V DC Integrated solenoid valve replaces the AC model, which is
safer and more stable. Bubble counter with built-in check valve included to
stop water backflow to bottle with high precision fine-tuning function. Life
Aqua Regulator has strong compatibility, compatible with any size of CO2
cylinders with various inlet adapters. The dual gauges design provides a more
precise reading of working output and internal gas tank pressure, so that
users can monitor the pressure relationship between primary and secondary
pressure regulators and easily estimate the time to replace emptied gas
cylinder.
Dual Stage Regulated CO2 Splitter takes one more step, so that users can split
the regulated gas from one cylinder to multiple aquarium tanks. Suggest up to
max. 4 output. Optional accessory Manifold Extender with Bubble Counter are
available.

INSTALLATION
-
Lock needle valve
Turn all needle valve handwheels clockwise to ensure it is closed. -
Confirm cylinder specifications
Confirm the specifications of the cylinder and the corresponding screw specification. ( G5/8, W22-1/14, W21.8-1/14, CGA320 ) -
Connect the cylinder
Connecting a cylinder with the regulator: Align the cylinder connector nut with the male thread of the cylinder, and twist it a few times by hand to ensure a correct connection. After adjusting the position and direction of the pressure regulator and fixing it by hand, tighten the cylinder joint nut with a wrench.
Note: Before connecting the gas cylinder, first check whether the gasket on the cylinder joint has fallen off, scratched, missing corners, pollution, etc. If there are any of the above conditions, the gasket should be replaced. -
Bubble counter (Installation)
Unscrew the upper cover of the bubble counter, fill it with 2/3 clean water, and tighten it. Screw the lower cover of the bubble counter clockwise into the screw port of the fine-tuning valve and tighten it. Take off the lock nut of the air pipe on the upper cover of the bubble counter, install the nut in reverse into the 6*4 air pipe, insert the air pipe into the air nozzle of the upper cover, and tighten it with the lock nut. -
Plug into the power source
Connect the solenoid valve to the power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet.![LIFE AQUA CO2 Manifold Extender and Bubble Counter

-
Regulating pressure (Not for “Single Gauge Regulator (Fix)”)
Open the cylinder valve, adjust the pressure regulator handwheel clockwise, and set the output pressure above 0.2Mpa (30 psi). But the maximum pressure should not be adjusted to the yellow area displayed on the pressure gauge. -
Adjust the amount of bubbles
Open the needle valve counterclockwise to a relatively large air output, and then slowly turn down the air output of the needle valve clockwise one by one until the number of bubbles produced by the bubble counter meets the requirements, then stop the adjustment. -
Replace the cylinder
When the pressure displayed on the pressure gauge is “0”, the cylinder should be replaced. Cylinder replacement procedure:
Close the cylinder valve;
Close the pressure regulator handwheel (Not for “Single Gauge Regulator (Fix)”);
Close the needlevalve;
Use an external hexagonal wrench to loosen the gas cylinder connector to replace the cylinder.
-
Addition: Install the Manifold Extender
(For “Dual Gauge Regulator (Extendable)”only)
Unscrew the end joint;
Check and make sure that the O-ring in the center hole of the middle joint is
placed correctly and in good condition, align the middle joint with the front
joint, put the two mounting screws into the two mounting holes, and tighten
them clockwise with an S3 wrench, according to the actual situation Different
numbers of intermediate joints are optional; Put back the end joint.
Note: The one with a small hole at the back end is the middle joint, and
the one without a small hole at the back is the end joint.
MAINTENANCE
(Should be only handled by MaxLite authorized Service team)
-
Avoid dust accumulation cover the CO2 Regulator.
