Troubleshooting
E2 Code
The error E2 code indicates that the ice maker can’t work properly. Please
check step by step:
- Temperature: its working environment temperature requires 50-100F and water temperature requires 41-95F. Temperature is too high which will lead ice making time being too long ( ice making time isn’t more than 35 minutes generally). Temperature is too low which will lead ice being too thick. Except for these two reasons, if ice collection time is too long, it also displays E2 code.
- Water Supply: inlet water pressure requirement 0.04-0.6Mpa. If water pressure is too low, the water flow will be too small and it also displays E2 code.
- External water inlet pipe should be clear and not bend, otherwise the water flow will be too small and it also displays E2 code.
- Internal water circuit (need to open the front panel for checking): there should be no impurities in the water tank to avoid clogging the water inlet of the pump or the water distribution pipe. If used for a long period of time without softening and cleaning, it can lead to calcification and blockage or jamming of the pump. You can judge these two situations by observing whether the pump can pump water to the ice-making steel plate normally.
Not turn on
If it doesn’t turn on for the first time, the internal plug-in cable might get loose in transit. Pls check step by step:
- Remove the 3 screws on top of the door, then take the door off and pay attention to the connected wires.
- Remove the 4 screws on the right hand side panel, then pull down the panel and remove.
- Check the three plug wires on the right side and a one on the left side for looseness and if the fuse is normal.

Leak water
If the ice maker is leaking water, you need to check two locations where water is leaking.
-
After turning on the machine, it enters the automatic cleaning program and the drain valve works (as shown on picture at the bottom rear corner of machine). Just turn off and restart the machine to enter ice making program (i.e. exits the cleaning program and directly enter the ice making program).
-
The water tank drain hole may leak water. There is a white silicon plug on bottom right front of the head whose purpose is to remove the plug to remove water from the tank during manual cleaning. Just plug the outlet hole to stop the leak.

How to replace the water pump
- Loosen the top 3 screws, remove the front panel (pull forward then push up) and then put it on the top of the head slowly. Be careful with wires on the back of the front panel and prevent the wires from being stressed when removing.
- Loosen the 4 screws on the right side panel, pull down and remove the right side panel. Then you can see the PCB.
- Find the water pump plug wire, unplug and pull out it along the wire feed slot slowly.
- Grasp the defective pump with three fingers, lift it slightly upward, pull it out forward and then you can remove it sucessfully. (the pump is held in the tank by two slots to the left and right and a retaining rubber in front)
- Unplug the water pipe and replace it with a new pump.
- Installed the ice maker in reverse order according to steps 1-5.
