INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

INSTALLATION KIT INCHES

TO INSTALL YOUR HEATER, YOU’LL NEED

  • Use the template provided to mark the position of the four holes on your wall Optimally, the bottom of the template is between 4″ and 18″ from the floor.

  • Use a 7/32″ drill bit to drill pilot holes for the drywall anchors; however, if you drill into a stud, use a 1/8″ bit and do not use an anchor On a masonry wall, drill 1-1/2″ deep holes. If you use an alternate wall anchor system, follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

  • Your heater unit includes mounting hardware for either masonry or drywall installations. If your walls require different hardware, make sure the screw is long enough to accommodate the length of the mounting leg, and that the length of the screw fits in the countersink hole of the mounting leg.

  • Use a Phillips head screwdriver to screw the drywall anchor into the pilot hole, For a masonry wall, push the masonry plug into the pilot hole until it is flush with the wall.

  • Use the 3″ long screws to secure the four mounting legs to the wall. Make sure the head of the screw is seated in countersink hole of the mounting post.
DO NOT FINISH TIGHTENING THE FOUR SCREWS UNTIL THE PANEL IS PLACED ON THE LEGS.

  • Stick the foil to the wall by locating it approximately in the center of the four mounting holes. Hold the foil by top corners and keep foil taut while applying to the wall.

  • When fully applied to the wall, burnish with a soft cloth working outwards from the center and ensuring the edges of the foil are well adhered to the wall.

  • Align the holes on the heater unit with the mounting legs. If the holes do not align, the legs must be repositioned. After legs are firmly screwed in, the heater should still be able to slide on the legs. Do not force the heater onto legs. This could cause stress to the heater resulting in cracking when the heater is in use. IGNORING THESE INSTRUCTIONS WILL VOID THE WARRANTY.

  • With the heater unit in place, finish tightening the screws. Then tighten the Cap/Nuts over the ends of the four mounting posts to lock the unit in place.
