Safety Notices
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or personal injury, including the following
- This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of shock, this plug is intended to fit only one way in a polarized outlet. If the plug does not fit in the outlet, flip it horizontally and try again. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. DO NOT attempt to defeat this safety feature.
- Place the heater on a firm level surface where free from obstructions and at least 3 ft(0.9m) away from any wall or combustible material.
- Please do not disassemble the heater. Do not operate the heater with a damaged cord or plug, nor after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped, or damaged in any manner. Return heater to authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
USE NOTES
Please read the instruction carefully before usage.
- This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surface. Recommend to use protective gloves when moving this heater.
- Keep combustible materials such as cloth and papers at least 3 feet away from the mess of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
- Extreme caution is necessary when the heater using near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left working and unattended.
- Always unplug the heater when not in use.
- Do not operate the heater with a damaged cord or plug, nor after the heater malfunctions. Return the heater to an authorized service facility for examination and repair.
- Do not use the heater outdoors.
- This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas, and similar moist indoor locations. Never locate the heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water containers.
- Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover the cord with throw rugs, runners, or the like. Arrange the cord away from traffic areas where it will not be tripped over.
- This heater draws 12.5 amps during working. To prevent overloading a circuit, do not plug the heater into a circuit that already has other appliances working.
- It is normal for the plug to feel warm to touch. However, a loose fit between the AC outlet (receptacle) and plug may cause overheating and distortion of the plug. Contact a qualified electrician to replace loose or worn outlet.
- To disconnect the heater, first turn off the touch screen and machine, then grip the plug and pull it from the outlet. Never pull by the cord.
- Do not allow foreign objects to enter ventilation opening or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
- To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner, do not use it on soft surface, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
- Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- Avoid the use of an extension cord because the extension cord may overheat and cause a risk of fire. However, if you have to use an extension cord, the cord should be No.14 AWG minimum size and rated not less than 1500 watts.
- Use of this heater is not recommended for persons with reduced sensitivity to heat or an inability to react to avoid burns.
COMPONENTS
The portable heater has a convenient carry handle, which makes it easy to move from room to room.
TOUCH SCREEN SWITCH FUNCTIONS
- Click Switch on and activate ECO mode to adjust the temperature as needed
- Click Switch to Lo mode to get low heat of 900W
- Click Switch to HI mode to get high heat of 1500W
- Click Switch to Fan mode
Click Set Timer From 1 Hour to 12 Hours
Click Start or Stop Heater’s 90 Degree Oscillation
Note: Space Heater in ECO mode will always adjust its output based in the temperature of the ambient it is in.
REMOTE CONTROL SWITCH FUNCTIONS
Note: Switch to ECO mode to adjust thermostat from 41°F to 95°F (in 1ºF Increments)
Tip-over Protection
Auto-off when knocked over
Tip-over Protection
When the heater is tipped forward or backward, or knocked down by accident,
the tip-over switch in the bottom will activate and shut off the heater
automatically. So please put it on a flat surface to use the heater.
Overheat Protection
It’s well designed for your safety. The automatic overheat protection system will shut the unit off when the parts of the heater overheat.
IF YOUR HEATER FAILS TO WORK
- Be sure the heater is plugged in the electrical outlet well, and the outlet is working.
- Check for any obstruction. If you find any obstruction, turn off and unplug the heater and wait at least ten minutes for it to cool. Carefully remove the obstruction. Plug the heater back in and restart it.
- Check whether the thermostat is set too low. If this is the case, use the remote control to adjust the thermostat heating button until the heater restarts
- If the issue still exists, remove the plug from the socket and have the appliance serviced by authorized service personnel only.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
We recommend the heater to be cleaned at least once a month and before off season storage.
- Turn the heater off and unplug it. Allow it to cool.
- Use a dry cloth to clean the external surfaces of the heater. NOTE: DO NOT USE WATER, WAX, POLISH, OR ANY CHEMICAL SOLUTION.
- Pack the heater in its original container and store it in a cool, dry place.
- Please do not disassemble the heater. Its motor is factory-lubricated for life and will require no further lubrication.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the usage method is wrong, the following symptoms will occur and it is
considered a malfunction.
