Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information in this manual. PowerSmart® reserves the right to change this product and specifications at any time without prior notice.
Please keep this manual available to all users during the entire life of the power station. This manual contains special messages to bring attention to potential safety concerns, power station damage as well as helpful operating and servicing information. Please read all the information carefully to avoid injury and machine damage.

Before operating this power station, read and observe all warnings, cautions, and instructions on the power station and in this Owner’s Manual.
NOTE : The following safety information is not meant to cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur. Read the entire Owner’s Manual for safety and operating instructions. Failure to follow instructions and safety information could result in serious injury or death. This safety alert symbol is used to identify safety information about hazards that can result in personal injury.
A signal word (DANGER, WARNING, or CAUTION) is used with the alert symbol to indicate the likelihood and the potential severity of injury. In addition, a hazard symbol may be used to represent the type of hazard.
DANGER Indicates a hazard, which, if not avoided, will result in death or serious injury.

WARNING : Do not operate this unit until you read this instruction manual for safety, operation, and maintenance instructions. Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious personal injury.

CHARGE FIRST
Please FULLY charge the power station as soon as possible when delivered. Due to the longtime of transportation and storage, Batteries of power stations may go to sleep mode.
Plug your power station into the wall over 10 minutes will activate the batteries again.
If charging doesn’t work, please ask our customer service support@amerisuninc.com for help.
Notice : Note that when turning on the AC Button but not using the outlets, there may be some watts of AC outputs shown in the LCD. That’s a normal display caused by the no-load discharge.
It is recommended that turn off the output button(s) when not in use.

INTENDED USE
The POWER SMART PS5150 Portable Power Station is intended as a power supply for electronic devices with a maximum power consumption of 1000W. Our product is not suitable to be used with equipment that relates to one’s own personal safety and relies heavily on electricity, such as medical devices, equipment for nuclear facilities, the manufacture of air and spacecraft, etc.
We therefore assume no liability for accidents involving personal safety, fires, or machine failures caused by using our product with the aforementioned devices.
CAUTION:

  • Not permitted on aircraft.
  • To preserve the battery lifespans, please use and recharge at least once every three months.
  • Use original or certified chargers and cables.
  • Avoid extreme temperatures.
  • Avoid dropping.
  • do not disassemble.
  • It’s not waterproof, do not expose to liquids.
  • Please dispose of batteries and electronic goods by local regulations.

POWER STATION USE AND CARE

  • Do not disassemble, repair or modify the unit or the battery.

  • Do not place the unit close to or in a fire or expose it to heat. Keep out of direct sunlight.

  • Do not use the power station over its output rating. Overload outputs above the rating may result in a risk of fire or injury to persons, even though we have built-in overload protection.

  • Do not connect any metallic objects to the AC input or output.

  • Do not use any inappropriate or damaged power cords.

  • Do not operate the unit above the specified input voltage.

  • Do not use the power station or AC Wall plug power adapter if it is damaged or has been modified. Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in fire, explosion, or risk of injury.

  • Do not subject to vibration, impacts, or drops. Secure the power station during transport.
    The housing may not show signs of damage, but internal components may have been compromised.
    It is advisable to replace it if any such severe events occur.

  • Do not expose the power station to moisture, rain, or snow.

  • Do not charge, use, or store the power station in a bathroom or an area exposed to rain or moisture.

  • Do not leave children or persons, with reduced physical/sensory or mental capabilities/or lack of experience and knowledge, along with the power station unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of it by a person responsible for their safety.

  • Do not attempt to repair the power station or AC Wall plug power adapter.
    There are no user-serviceable components inside.

  • Should fluid from the inside of the unit come in contact with your skin or clothing, wash the affected areas with tap water.

  • In a storm, unplug the power cord from the socket.

  • DO NOT handle the power station with wet hands.

  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they DO NOT play with the power station alone.

  • The power station is only used for the emergency power station. It cannot replace the standard AC or
    DC power of household appliances or digital power station.

  • Keep away from high-voltage electrical fields.

  • Risk of fire and burns. DO NOT open, crush, heat above 104°F (40°C) or incinerate.

  • Use of a power supply, charger, or cable not recommended or sold by portable battery manufacturers may result in a risk of fire or injury to persons.

  • The accessories included in the box should only be used with the power station.

  • Keep the power station away from pets.

  • Make sure that the device you are connecting is switched off before you connect it.

Button Feature

PORTABLE POWER STATION

  • A: Power ON/OFF Button
    POWER ON/OFF BUTTON is the master switch. Press the POWER ON/OFF BUTTON to activate the DC/USB/AC BUTTONS. Press the POWER ON/OFF BUTTON to shut down the output(s) when not in use.

  • B: DC Outputs Power ON/OFF Button
    The DC output ports will NOT function until the DC OUTPUTS POWER ON/OFF BUTTON is pressed to activate. Press the DC OUTPUTS POWER ON/OFF BUTTON to shut down the output(s) when not in use.

  • C: USB Outputs Power ON/OFF Button
    The USB-A output port and USB-C output port will NOT function until the USB OUTPUTS POWER ON/OFF BUTTON is pressed to activate Press USB OUTPUTS POWER ON/OFF BUTTON to shut down the output(s) when not in use.

  • D: AC Outlet Power ON/OFF Button
    The AC Outlet will NOT function until the AC OUTLET POWER ON/OFF BUTTON is pressed to activate. Press the AC OUTLET POWER ON/OFF BUTTON to shut down the output(s) when not in use.

  • E: LED Lighting & Flashlight ON/OFF Button
    Press the LED LIGHTING & FLASHLIGHT BUTTON once to turn on the flashlight, and press it again to turn on the LED LIGHTING. Press LED LIGHTING & FLASHLIGHT BUTTON over 3 seconds to turn on the SOS mode.

Wireless Charger
Press the ON/OFF Button A before charging. Press the NO/OFF Button to shut down the output.

LCD Feature

  • A-Battery Level: The battery level is provided by the percentage of battery charge corresponding to the number of bars and percentage displayed.
    CAUTION : Please be aware that this value can adjust multiple times as the energy draw changes from the connected devices.
    This is evident during the initial activation of ports with a connected device.
    Recommended back to charge the power station when battery indicates less than 20%.
    Note that when you first plug in a power source, whether it’s a solar panel or a wall charger, the power station may take a minute to detect and adjust its charge circuitry before it starts drawing power from the source.

  • B-Remaining Charging Time: The power station can provide remaining charging time in hours and minutes. Level accuracy of the amount of charge time left in power station based on the current output level.

  • C-Input Status: The power station can provide input energy in watts.

  • D-Remaining Usage Time : The power station can provide remaining usage time in hours and minutes. Level accuracy of the amount of usage time left in the power station based on the current input level.

  • E-Output Status: The display will provide the total output watts of the DC ports, Cigarette Lighter Port, USB-A, USB-C and AC Outlet(s).

  • F-Low Voltage Warning: If the Low Voltage Warning indicator is on, please recharge the power station.

  • G-Temperature Indicator: The Temperature Indicator lights on means the battery temperature of the power station is too low/high. All function of input and output will be stopped until the battery temperature returns to the working range.

WARNING : Read and thoroughly understand all instructions and safety information before operating this power station. Failure to do so may cause serious injury or death.
Do not allow anyone to operate this power station who has not read this manual.
Do not operate this power station if you have doubts or questions concerning safe operation.

HOW TO CHARGE

Recharging with AC Charger
Using the included AC Wall Plug Power cable, plug the unit into standard wall outlet to charge the unit. The unit is fully charged when the percentage displayed is 100% on LCD display. After the unit is fully charged, please remove the AC wall charger.
Recharging with Car Charger
CAUTION : To avoid car battery power loss. Charging this unit through your car cigarette lighter is only available when your car engine is started.
Using the included car charger, plug the unit into a 12V cigarette lighter (carport) in your car. The unit is fully charged when the percentage displayed is 100% on LCD display. After the unit is fully charged, please remove the Car charger.
Recharging with Solar panels (optional)
Make sure to use a panel with an 8mm output plug. Place solar panels where it will get as much direct sunlight as possible. Plug the output of the solar panel into the input on the power station to start charging. The unit is fully charged when the percentage displayed is 100% on LCD display.
After the unit is fully charged, please remove the Solar panels.

WHAT IT POWERS

HOW TO POWER AC APPLIANCES WITH THIS PRODUCT

  • Make sure the appliance you are plugging in is turned off.
  • Connect the power cable plug of the electrical appliance to the AC outlet of the product.
  • Press the Power ON/OFF Button to turn on. The button will illuminate when it is on.
  • Turn AC Outlet Power ON/OFF Button appliance on.
  • The LCD Screen Display will display the real-time wattage of the appliance.
  • When finished, turn off device, remove the power cable and press AC Outlet Power ON/OFF Button to turn outlets off. (If you leave the AC Power button on it will drain the battery.)

WARNING : The AC outlets, AC voltage, and frequency are different according to different countries; please carefully check whether the product specifications are consistent with the appliance specifications before use, otherwise, it can lead to dangerous situations.

HOW TO POWER DC APPLIANCES WITH THIS PRODUCT

  • Connect the power cable plug of the electrical appliance to 12V ports.
  • Press the “DC Power ON/OFF” button to turn on. The button will illuminate when it is on.
  • The LCD Display will display real-time wattage of the appliance.
  • When finished, press “DC Power ON/OFF” to turn off DC power.

HOW TO POWER USB APPLANCES WITH THIS PRODUCT

  • Connect the power cable plug of the electrical appliance to USB outlets.
  • Press the “USB Outputs Power ON/OFF” button to turn on. The button will illuminate when it is on.
  • The LCD Display will display real-time wattage of the appliance
  • When finished, press “USB Outputs Power ON/OFF” to turn off.

PASS-THROUGH CHARGING
The advanced battery management system of the power station allows it to charge a connected device via DC outputs & USB outputs & AC output while charging the power station.

OVERLOAD CONDITION
If an overload condition occurs on the OUTPUT ports, the power station will:
Automatically turn off AC Outlet power.

  • The indicator light of LCD Screen still illuminated.
  • DC Outputs Status still the same status as usual.

HOW TO USE THE FLASHLIGHT / LED LIGHTING
WARNING: Do not look directly into the light. May cause eye damage due to the strong light.

  • Press the LED Lighting & Flashlight ON/OFF Button once to turn flashlight on.
  • Press the button again to turn LED Lighting on.
  • While the flashlight is on, hold down the button for 3 seconds to activate SOS mode.
    Single press to turn SOS mode off.

Maintenance

WARNING: Power station service must be performed only by qualified repair personnel.
Service or maintenance performed by unqualified personnel could result in a risk of injury.

  • Recharge as needed.
  • There are no pre-designated intervals at which to recharge as long as the power station is being used regularly.
  • Avoid discharging completed on a regular basis, as this can impact overall life.
  • Periodically inspect all ports and wall chargers for any debris, dirt, damage, and corrosion.
  • DO NOT attempt to fix it.
  • DO NOT cover the power station with towels, clothing, or other items.
  • Regularly observe if the side vents are collecting dirt or dust, and clean following cleaning procedures noted in manual.

CLEANING

  • Be sure that the power station is disconnected from all input power sources and output devices.
  • Use a clean, dry, soft-lint-free cloth to wipe it down. Remove any debris, dirt, or other blockages on both side vents. When cleaning debris from the side vents, do not allow the debris, dirt, or other blockages to enter the body of power station.
  • DO NOT use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • DO NOT use compressed air to clean side cooling vents, as this will force foreign particles into the internal circuitry.
  • To avoid the risk of electrical shock, DO NOT use metal objects to clean ports.
  • If storing for more than 1 month, charge completely before store and recharge approximately every 3 months to avoid full discharge and possible damage.
  • Storing indoor, in cold temperatures, with mild humidity, and away from direct sunlight.
  • Leaving in a vehicle or other confined spaces in extremely hot temperatures can lead to decreased service life, overheating, and fire. Extreme cold conditions below specific storage range can also harm power station performance and service life.
  • Keep away from corrosion chemicals and gases.
  • After taking out of storage, visually inspect to make sure the power station and all accessories look satisfactory. This increase reviews the intake and exhaust side vents to ensure they are clear of debris.
  • Allow the power station to return to ambient conditions before recharging or charging other devices.

DISPOSAL/RECYCLE
Do not place equipment and its accessories in the trash. Items must be appropriately disposed of in accordance with local regulations. See local government laws for additional information.

TROUBLESHOOTING

THE POWER STATION WILL NOT CHARGE OR OPERATE CONNECTED DEVICES:
Ensure that the DC/USB/AC output ports are activated by pressing the DC/USB/AC OUTPUT ON/OFF BUTTON(S) for the port(s) in use.

  • Confirm the connected device is suitable for the power station by reviewing the outputs specifications provided in the TECHNICAL DATA section.
  • Confirm the power station is charged by reviewing the Battery Level.
  • Verify the watt data displayed on the LCD Screen for an overload condition.

POWER STATION NOT BE CHARGED
Confirm that the wall plug power adapter’s cord is inserted fully into the DC Input.

  • Confirm that the AC wall plug power adapter is the charger provided with the power station.
  • if the input does not comply with the requirements located in the TECHNICAL DATA section, the Low Watt range O to 10 may be displayed on the INPUT STATUS of the LCD screen.
  • Please charge the power station when you get it. Long-time storage of the power station will cause failure to start. Try charging for more than ten minutes to restart it. If none of these attempts work, you can contact customer service for help.

TWO (2) YEARS LIMITED WARRANTY

PowerSmart® is committed to building tools that are dependable for years. Our warranties are consistent with our commitment and dedication to quality. TWO (2) YEARS LIMITED WARRANTY OF POWER SMART PRODUCTS FOR HOME USE. PowerSmart (“Seller”) warrants to the original purchaser only, that all PowerSmart consumer power tools will be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase. Ninety (90) days for all Power Smart Products, if the tool is used for professional or commercial use. SELLER’S SOLE OBLIGATION AND YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY under this Two (2) Years Limited Warranty and, to the extent permitted by law, any warranty or condition implied by law, shall be the repair or replacement of parts, without charge, which are defective in material or workmanship, and which have not been misused, carelessly handled, or is repaired by persons other than Seller or Authorized Service Center. To make a claim under this Limited Warranty, you must return the entire power tool product; transportation prepaid, to Power Smart Include a legible copy of the original receipt, which lists the date of purchase (month and year) and the name of the company purchased from. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY TO ANY ACCESSORY ITEMS INCLUDED WITH THE TOOL SUCH AS CIRCULAR SAW BLADES OR OTHER RELATED ITEMS OR TO ANY REPLACEMENT PARTS LISTED UNDER MAINTENANCE.
