We suggest that you keep this manual in a safe place. It contains essential information regarding the operation of your chair.

General warnings

  • Indoor use only.
  • Ensure that only one person uses this chair at a time.
  • Do not dry wet areas with hair dryers, etc.
  • Do not overexpose the leather to sunlight.
  • Do not leave the chair in the recline position.
  • Take care to avoid sharp objects coming into contact with the chair such as needles, pins, scissors, etc
  • Do not leave the chair in the UP or DOWN position when not in use.
  • Do not drag the chair when moving or lifting as this may cause damage to the lifting mechanism and trap the cables.

Caution!
The rise/recline of the footrest is supported by a scissor mechanism. Do not leave children or pets unsupervised or directly around the chair. There is a potential risk of trapping by the mechanism. Take care to avoid trapping clothing, blankets, fingers etc.

Make sure there is enough distance between the wall and the chair back BEFORE fully reclining. Reclining the chair too close to the walk will damage the chair. We suggest you keep 20 inches between the wall and your chair.

Specific Warnings

  • Maximum loading capacity 350 lbs!
  • Ensure that only one person sits in the chair at a time.
  • Do not route any cables under the chair or through any moving part of the chair. There is a risk of the cable being damaged which could cause an electric shock.
  • Do not use the chair with an electric blanket.
  • Do not move the chair while the power cable is connected to the outlet.
  • Keep all electronics away from moisture and extreme temperatures.
  • If the chair becomes damaged, unplug it and contact the seller for service.
  • Unplug the base before cleaning.
  • Avoid getting liquid onto the electrical system.
  • Do not step on the armrests or footrests, the mechanism may be damaged by putting too much weight on it.
  • When the chair is in the raised position, do not sit down heavily on it, but, lower yourself gently. Severe impact could damage the mechanism.
  • Ensure that the footrest does not catch on the carpet.
  • Be careful while using sharp objects such as needles, pins, scissors, etc.
  • Do not drag the chair as this may damage the mechanism or break the cables.
  • We do advise that the chair be checked once every 12 months.
  • Only use authorized accessories for the chair.

Assembly Steps

Step1. Level the chair base

Step 2. Fasten the castors on the rear of the chair.

Step 3. Assemble the chair arms.

  • Align the locking clip.
  • Push the arm down evenly with both hands to the bottom.

Step 4. Connect the cords.

(The cord and transformer are in the accessory package which is tied inside the chair base!)

Step 5. Arrange the position of the controller

  • Press this “b” button to lift the chair in the highest position as shown above.
  • Customers can choose to place the controller on the left or right side of the chair according to their preference as shown below.

Step 6. Assemble the chair back.

  • Align the locking clip.
  • Slide the backrest into the chair base.

Step 7. Assemble the chair ear.

  • Align the locking clip.
  • Slide the ear into the chair’s back.

Step 8. Connect the cords.

  • Connect these two cords as shown above. (these two cords are on the back of the backrest.)
  • Plug the massage power cord into the outlet.

Tips

  • This pillow is recommended when lying down on this chair it will help to support your body and make you more comfortable during sleep.

Remote control

  • Before you operate the controller. Ensure all the cables are clear of the mechanism. The chair isn’t situated on top of any cables.
  • a Lifts/Opens footrest and lowers chair.
  • b Lowers/Opens backrest
  • c Lowers/Opens backrest.
  • d Lifts/Closes backrest

Specific Warning
People with heart disease should be cautious when using this massage function.

Safe Seating Position
The chair is a lifting device and it is important that you are positioned correctly in the chair when it is rising and lowering.If the correct body position is not maintained, there is a risk of injury or damage to the chair. The central position should be used either in standing or sitting mode.

  • A: Correct position: Sit centrally with arms on the chair.
  • B: Incorrect position: The body is unstable and there is a possibility of injury.
  • C: Keep your feet on the floor as the chair is lifting.

How can I ask for help when something goes wrong with my product?

What if my lift chair does not work at all?

  1. Make sure the outlet is turned on and has electricity.
  2. Ensure the chair is plugged in.
  3. Make sure there are no cable damages.

My chair only partially working, what is the reason?
The unworking part may need to be replaced. (All the accessories can be replaced very easily, the seller will provide an online teaching video if needed.)

What if my chair or controller starts to overheat or smell like smoke?
Unplug the chair, and discontinue use of the chair immediately. Contact the seller for further assitance.
Noises
All motors hum and vibrate slightly. This is normal. There are many moving parts and you may hear noises when operating the chair. However, if the noise is excessive, contact a customer service representative.

Where do I find the batch number on my lift chair?
You can find the batch number in two locations. One is at the end of this manual and the second is underneath the footrest of the chair. Please note that batch numbers must be provided in order for any replacement parts or service to be carried out.

If you are uncertain about your chair and the way it is working, unplug it and contact the seller for further assistance.

WARRANTY

  1. Electronic components(motor/transformer/controllers)-1 vear.
  2. Cover (fabric/PU/PVC/ combined fabric/leather/etc.)-2 years.
  3. Reclining mechanism years.

Your new chair is covered by the above warranty, please note that this does not include the man-made damage. If man-made damage is found during the grantee’s time, our company will answer for the maintenance and will charge maintenance costs generated by this(shipping and handling).
