General Safety Information

Before using your new heater, please carefully read through the following instructions.KEEP THIS BOOKLET IN A SAFE PLACE SOTHAT YOU MAY CONSULTIT LATER.

Failure to follow these instructions may result in damages for which we cannot beheld liable.

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire,electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

  1. Read all instructions before using the heater.
  2. After removing the packaging, make sure that the appliance is in good condition.
  3. Prior to use,thoroughly check the power cord and plug for any signs of damage. 4. Packaging materials may contain plastic, nails, etc., which may be dangerous and placed out of reach of children.
  4. Use only the voltage specified on the rating plate of the heater(AC120V,60HZ).
  5. Do not cover or restrict the heater in any way, as the equipment may overheat and pose a fire risk.
  6. Keep combustible materials such as fumiture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes,and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
  7. Ensure the stability of your electrical network, It is recommended to use a 25A or higher fuse. Avoid using heaters and other high-power electrical appliances simultaneously to prevent circuit overload.
  8. Avoid using the infrared heater together with another appliance on the same multiple socket or connected to the same fuse.
  9. This is a heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. DO NOT use in areas where gasoline,paint,explosive and/or flammable liquids are used or stored. Keep unit away from heated surfaces and open flames.
  10. Certain parts of the heater can reach temperatures exceeding 200°C (392°F). Contact with the heating tube, reflector, or metal components near the heating tube can cause severe burns, Do not allow bare skin to touch hot surfaces. If you need to move the device, please turn off the heater and wait for complete cooling.
  11. Do not use the appliance to dry clothes.
  12. Do not leave the appliance unattended whilst in use.
  13. Do not insert or allow foreign objects enter any ventilation or exhaust opening, as this may cause an electric shock fire or damage to the appliance.
  14. Do not immerse in liquid or allow liquid to run into the interior of the appliance, as this could create an electrical shock hazard.
  15. Pay attention that, no combustible material due to Wind or other environmental influences covers or obstructs the appliance, such as curtains, marquees, flags, plastic foil etc.
  16. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord, plug or after the appliance malfunction or has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return to a qualified electrical person for examination.electrical or mechanical adjustment, service or repair before further use.
  17. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified electrical person in order to avoid a hazard.
  18. Do not operate appliance with wet hands.
  19. This appliance is intended for household use only and not for commercial or industrial use.
  20. A common cause of overheating is deposits of dust or fluff in the appliance. Ensure these deposits are removed regularly by unplugging the appliance and vacuum-cleaning air vents and grilles, where available.
  21. Connect to properly grounded outlets only.
  22. This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms.laundry areas and similar indoor locations.Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
  23. Always operate on a flat horizontal surface.
  24. Avoid the use of an extension cord because the extension cord may overheat and cause a risk of fire. However, if you have to use an extension cord, the cord shall be 14 AWG minimum size and rated not less than 2000 watts. 26. Unplug the appliance when not in use for an extended period or when performing cleaning or maintenance. Before unplugging, ensure the power is turned off.
  25. Do not remove the power plug from the socket by pulling the cord -grip the plug instead.
  26. Do not allow cord to come in contact with heated surfaces during operation
  27. Do not run cord under carpeting, throw rugs or runners etc. Arrange cord away from areas where it is likely to be tripped over. Do not twist, kink or wrap the cord around the appliance, as this may cause the insulation to weaken and split. Always ensure that the cord has been fully removed from any cord storage area before use.
  28. Do not store appliance in a box or closed space until it has cooled down sufficiently.
  29. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. 32. Young children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
  30. The appliance must not be located immediately below a socket-outlet.
  31. Do not use this appliance with a programmer, timer or any other device that switches the heater on automatically, since a fire risk exists if the appliance is covered or positioned incorrectly. 35. Do not use near or in the immediate vicinity of a bath or swimming pool or any source of liquid.
  32. In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cutout, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
  33. A loose fitting outlet can cause the plug to overheat or cause a fire. Be sure plug fits tight in the outlet.
  34. If there is a loose fit between the plug and the socket or the plug becomes very hot, the socket may need to be replaced. Check with a qualified electrician to replace the socket.
  35. It is normal for the plug and cord to feel warm to the touch. A plug or cord which becomes hot to the touch or becomes distorted in shape may be a result of a worn electrical outlet. Wom outlets or receptacles should be replaced prior to further use of the heater Plugging the heater into a worn outlet /receptacle may result in overheating of the power cord or fire.
  36. WARNING: This heater is not equipped with a device to control the room temperature. Do not use this heater in small rooms when they are occupied by persons not capable of leaving the room on their own, unless constant supervision is provided.
  37. CAUTION: Risk of Electric Shock. DO NOT open or try to repair the heater your self.
  38. NOTE: There may be a trace of smoke or odor when the unit is first operated, This indicates that a drop of oil fell on the heating coil during the manufacturing process. It will quickly evaporate and should not re occur.

This heater is for use on 120 volts. The cord has a plug as shown at A in Figure 68.1. An adapter as shown at C is available for connecting three-blade grounding-type plugs to two-slot receptacles.

The green grounding lug extending from the adapter must be connected to a permanent ground such as a properly grounded outlet box.

The adapter should not be used if a three-slot grounded receptacle is available.

USING YOUR HEATER

Base Assembly

  1. Remove the front and back bases from the box (refer to Figure 1). Align the rear foot plate with the holes on the front foot plate (refer to Figure 2) and insert it securely.
  2. Align the holes on the base with the corresponding holes on the main body of the unit. Tighten the screws firmly to ensure a secure connection (refer to Figure 3).
  3. Before using the product, place it on a stable and even surface to ensure stability and optimal performance.

Switch the heater on or off, and it will enter standby mode when turned on (PO).

Set 1-24 hours timing, cycle in turn.

The heater offers four selectable settings: low heat (p1), medium heat (p2), high heat (p3), and standby mode (p0), cycling sequentially.

These appliances must be supplied with proper voltage and frequency (AC120V, 60Hz), and connected to an individual, properly grounded branch circuit, protected by a circuit breaker which in accordance with wiring rule.

  1. Insert the power cord turn on the power on the back side of the heater. The buzzer will sound a beep, ensuring that the switch is turned on in the position (If it is already open, please ignore it)
  2. Press the on or off button, the buzzer beeps, and the digital screen displays PO (standby mode).
  3. Press the mode power 500W) the first time, the buzzer beeps and the digital screen displays Pl (low
  4. Press the mode the second time, the buzzer beeps, and the digital screen displays P2 (mid-range power 1000W)
  5. Press the mode the third time, the buzzer beeps, and the digital screen displays P3 (High-grade power 1500W)
  6. Press the mode cycle in turn the fourth time, the buzzer beeps, and the digital screen displays  (standby mode)
  7. Press the timing button the 1-24 hour timing shutdown can be adjusted arbitrarily, the digital screen displays 01 to indicate timing of 1 hour, and display 24 to indicate timing of 24 hours.cycle in turn. When the set number flashes complete, it indicates successful timing. Once the set time is reached, the machine will automatically stop working
  8. Press the switch if you need to turn off the machine and the main power switch on the back.

Remote Control

The functions of the heater may be controlled via the buttons on your remote control and LED screen. You may also control some of the functions of your heater through the buttons on the front side of the heater.

Inserting Batteries (no included)
Insert 2 AAA/ Alkaline type batteries into your remote control.

  1. Flip the backside of your remote control and pull out battery cover. Insert the batteries in accordance with the instructions and polarity the batteries.
  2. Change the batteries in the same way depicted above.

NOTICE:

  1. Replace the old batteries with the same type batteries. Otherwise, your heater may not function well.
  2. Pull out the batteries in case of long terms of disuse to prevent leakage which may impair your remote control.
  3. Do not allow water or liquid to get into the remote control.

Overheat Protection

This heater is protected with an overheat protection that switches of the applianceautomatically in case of overheat,e.g. due to the total or partial obstruction of the grids.In this case, unplug the appliance, wait about 30 minutes for it to cool and remove theobject which is obstructing the grids. Then switch it back on as described above. Theappliance should operate normally. Should the problem persist, please contact thenearest customer service.

Tip-Over protection

If you hear a rattling noise inside the product when moving or shaking it, please do not be alarmed. This is the sound of the internal switch functioning. Our product is equipped with a safety feature called a fall protection switch. If the product is tilted beyond a certain angle, the power will automatically turn off to prevent any potential hazards that may occur if it falls during use. When the heater is tipped over, it will shut off automatically.

To prevent triggering the tip-over switch:

  1. Avoid placing the heater in high-traffic areas where it may be easily bumped into.
  2. Pay attention to the distance between children or pets at home and the heater.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Cleaning

Regular and careful cleaning helps your infrared heater operate efficiently for many trouble-free years. To clean your heater, follow steps below:

  1. Unplug the power cord for your safety before cleaning your appliance.

  2. Make sure the heater is cool before continuing.
    To keep the heater clean, the outer shell maybe cleaned with a soft, damp cloth.

  3. You may use a mild detergent if necessary. After cleaning, dry the unit with a soft cloth. (CAUTION: DO NOT let liquids enter the heater).

  4. DO NOT use alcohol, gasoline, abrasive powders, furniture polish or rough brushes to clean the heater. This may cause damage or deterioration to the surface of the heater.

  5. DO NOT immerse the heater in water

  6. Wait until the heater is completely dry before use.

Maintenance

Considering our instructions, it is very important to carefully and regularly maintain the Infrared heater so that your equipment can operate effectively for a long time.

  1. Check the dirt on the reflector and infrared filament at least once a month. If necessary, apply cleaning and maintenance instructions.
  2. Considering the amount of dust in the environment, the number of inspections can be increased.
  3. When cleaning inside the appliance, visually inspect the deformation of the reflector, wires, and frame. If there are any deformations, please consult your technical service department.

Storage

  1. After maintenance and cleaning, if not intended for use, to prevent dust from entering, please wait for the heater to completely dry before packaging it in its original packaging.
  2. Store it in a place without direct sunlight and with low humidity.
  3. Please do not place it near fires or flammable materials.
