Product Usage Instructions

Is Your Fan Making Noise?

  1. Ensure that the fan is installed as per the standard guidelines, using all the necessary accessories.
  2. Make sure that the extra wire bunch is not pushed into the canopies. Tie the wires properly to prevent them from touching the canopy, as loose wires can create noise while the fan is running.
  3. Tighten all screws on the blade, canopy, down-rod, and shackle kit properly.
  4. If using hooks, we recommend using D-type hooks. Ensure that there is no movement in the down rod while the fan is running.
  5. Regulator bypassing is recommended. Connect point A to point B as shown in the picture.

Is Your Fan’s MCB Tripping?

  1. Make sure that the supply cable (Red & Black – Phase & Neutral) is properly connected with the White OC connector.
  2. Check that there is an AC supply across the wires at both points A and B within the range of 140Vac to 285Vac.
  3. Ensure that the fan wires are not short-circuited with the fan’s hook.
  4. Make sure that the MCB is not overloaded with multiple equipment connections. Consult an electrician for assistance if needed.
  5. Check that the MCB is not faulty. Consult an electrician for assistance if needed.

Is Your Fan Not Working?

  1. Ensure that the MCB is not tripped and the supply switch/button is ON.

  2. If using a regulator, make sure it is not set to zero speed. Bypass the regulator as recommended and operate the fan with the remote only.

  3. Check that the supply cable (Red & Black – Phase &
    Neutral) is properly connected with the White OC connector.

  4. Ensure that the input power supply is in the range of 140Vac to 285Vac. Check AC supply across the wires at both points A and B.

  5. Use a mobile camera to crosscheck the efficacy of remote keys. If the LED lights of the remote do not glow when pressing the keys, the remote keys may not be working.

Are You Facing an Issue with the Remote?

  1. Ensure that the remote used is compatible with the fan.
  2. Check that the remote batteries are not dead.
  3. Use a mobile camera to crosscheck the efficacy of remote keys. If the LED lights of the remote do not glow when pressing the keys, the remote keys may not be working.
  4. If you have a remote from any other Atomberg fan, you can use it to validate the fan whose remote is giving an issue.

Is Your Fan Giving Low Air Delivery?

  1. Bypass the regulator by connecting point A to point B as shown in the picture.
  2. Use the 5th speed or boost mode for higher air delivery.
  3. Ensure that the fan is not on Sleep Mode. Restart the fan using either the remote or the switch to disable Sleep Mode.

Using Instructions

Is Your Fan Making Noise?

  • The fan must be installed as per standard guidelines shown in the image (All Atomberg accessories like down-rod, shackle kit and canopies must be used.

STEP 2

  • Extra wire bunch should not be pushed into the canopies. The wires should be tied properly in a way that it doesn’t touch the canopy (loose wires can make noise while the fan is running).

STEP 3

  • All screws on the blade, canopy, down-rod and shackle kit must be tightened properly.

STEP 4

  • We recommend the use of D-type hooks. If any other type of hook is in use, then ensure that the down rod does not have any movement while the fan is running.

STEP 5

  • Regulator bypassing is recommended.

Is Your Fan’s MCB Tripping?

Is Your Fan Not Working?

STEP 1

  • MCB must not be tripped & the supply switch/button should be “ON”

STEP 2

  • The regulator should not be on zero speed setting (the regulator should be bypassed as recommended). Operate the fan with a remote only.

STEP 3

  • Ensure that the supply cable (Red & Black – Phase & Neutral) – is properly connected with the White OC connector.

STEP 4

  • Input power supply should be in the range of 140Vac to 285Vac.
  • AC supply across the wires at both points A and B should be within the range of 140Vac to 285Vac.

STEP 5

  • Crosscheck the efficacy of remote keys by using a mobile camera as shown in the image. On pressing the keys, If the LED lights of the remote are not glowing then the remote keys are not working.

Are You Facing An Issue With The Remote?

  • Ensure that the remote used is compatible with the fan.

  • Kindly ensure that the remote batteries aren’t dead.

  • Ensure that the fan is not on Sleep Mode. Just restart the fan using either the remote or the switch to disable the Sleep Mode.

STEP 4

  • Ensure that the installation is done as per the instructions provided by Atomberg Technologies.

Does The Speed Of Your Fan Vary?

STEP 1

  • Regulator bypassing is recommended

STEP 2

  • Ensure that the supply cable (Red & Black – Phase & Neutral) – is properly connected with the White OC connector.
  • AC supply across the wires at both points A and B should be within the range of 140Vac to 285Vac.

STEP 3

  • Ensure that the blades are adjusted to their corresponding motor i.e. 900mm (sweep size) blades should not be fixed to a motor of a 1400mm (sweep size) fan.

STEP 4

  • We recommend the use of D-type hooks. If any other type of hook is in use, then ensure that down-rod must not have any movement while the fan is running.

STEP 5

  • Ensure that the minimum adjacent distance between 2 fans should be more than 1 metre.

Is Your Fan Wobbling?

STEP 1

  • We recommend the use of D-type hooks. If any other type of hook is in use, then ensure that down-rod must not have any movement while the fan is running.

STEP 2

  • Ensure that the blade(s) or the motor of the fan aren’t damaged or bent in any way.

STEP 3

  • Ensure that the blade screws are properly tightened.

STEP 4

  • Ensure that the down-rod and the nut+bolt used is the one provided by Atomberg Technologies.

STEP 5

  • Ensure that the diffuser or bottom cap isn’t loosely fixed.
