Safety Instructions

Read and follow all the safety instructions:

• Use the product with the provided power adapter only.
• Be cautious of static electricity during installation and usage. Keep the product away from sharp objects or strong corrosive chemicals.
• Remove nails, metal, or other conductive objects from the installation surface before attaching the strip light, as it may cause short-circuiting.
• Do not allow children to install the strip light alone.
• When bending the strip light during installation, avoid folding the LED components as it may affect the product’s lifespan.
• Avoid installing the strip light near potentially dangerous sources (e.g., candles, liquid-filled objects).
• Unroll the strip light before powering on.
• Please turn off the power and unplug the adapter when the strip light will not be used for a long time.
• The recommended working temperature is between Oto 40 °C.
• The storage temperature should be between -20 to 60 °C.

The 2.4m LED Strip Light (20.8m+20.4m) fits 40-50 inch TVs, which is embedded with Govee’s cutting- edge RGBIC technology so that each segment can be adjusted independently, bringing a more immersive watching experience. It can be controlled by Govee Home App and voice assistants such as Alexa and Google Assistant.

Power-on Test

Before You Install

1. Unpack the box and check all items included.
2. Power on the strip light and check whether it lights up. Caution: Do not power on before spreading the strip light.

Installation Steps

1. Wipe the installation surface to make sure it is dry and clean.
2. Stick the strip light to the back of the TV. Press them firmly and then reinforce them with the provided clips.
3. Install the control box to a suitable location on the back of the TV and connect it to power to enjoy the immersive watching experience brought by the backlight.

Pairing Your Device with Govee Home App

What You Need

• A Wi-Fi router supporting the 2.4GHz and 802.11 b/g/n bands. 5GHz is not supported.
• A smartphone or tablet running iOS 8.0 (or above) or Android 4.3 (or above).

Pairing Instructions

• Download Govee Home App from the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices).
• Turn on your smartphone’s Bluetooth.
• Open the app, tap the icon in the top right corner and search for “H6167”.
• Tap the device icon and follow the on-screen instructions to complete pairing.

Controlling the Device with Your Voice

• Open Govee Home App, then tap the device icon to enter details page.
• Tap the settings icon in the top right corner.
• Select “User Guide” and follow the on-screen instructions to control the device by using your voice.

Troubleshooting

1. The strip light does not work/is malfunctioning.
   • Check if the adapter used is the one provided.
   • Power the strip light off then on. Make sure the adapter and the control box have been powered on.
   • Long press and hold the power button on the control box and quickly press the middle button four times to restore factory settings.
2. The strip light does not display the full selected color./Some light beads do not light up.
   • Please contact Govee Support Team.
3. Cannot connect to Govee Home App.
   • Do not skip Bluetooth connection in the app.
   • Ensure Bluetooth on your smartphone has been turned on.
   • Your smartphone may be incompatible with Govee Home App. Try using a different smartphone.
   • Power the strip light and turn your smartphone’s Bluetooth off and on before trying again.
   • Please make sure your smartphone is within 1 m/3.28ft of the strip light when connecting.
   • Clear any obstructions that are between the strip light and your smartphone.
4. Cannot connect to Wi-Fi.
   • Do not skip the Wi-Fi connecting steps in the app.
   • 5GHz network is not supported. Please set the router to 2.4GHz and then reset it.
   • Connect your smartphone to Wi-Fi and check whether the network works well.
   • Make sure that you have entered the correct Wi-Fi name and password.
   • Change your Wi-Fi password to a brief one. 8 numbers and letters are suggested.
   • Connect your smartphone hotspot to the strip light and check whether the router works with the strip lignt.
5. Cannot connect to Alexa.
   • Unplug every connective part of the strip light then firmly reconnect them.
   • Reset your smartphone Wi-Fi.
   • Unplug the adapter port then re-plug it.
