CANAS URF2 Universal Remote for Garage Doors and Barrier

COPY REMOTE

Important: Always check the batteries of the original remote control and the UFR2 before copying. For successful copying, it may be necessary to change the distance between the original and the copy, or to replace the battery of the original and the copy.

Copying fixed code remote controls

1. You press button 1 on the UFR2 remote control and hold it down.
2. While holding button 1, press button 2 consecutively 3 times, then release the buttons. The LED lamp on the UFR2 will start flashing slowly, indicating that the remote control is in copy mode.
3. Place the original remote control in front of the UFR2.
4. Press and hold the button on the original remote that you want to copy. until the UFR2 LED starts flashing rapidly.
5. While the LED on the UFR2 is flashing, press the button on the UFR2 you want to write the code to. The LED on the UFR2 will light up steadily, then turn off.

Copying remote controls with a rolling code without having to send a secret code (this procedure is used in cases where the receiver is in automatic mode and allows direct programming of remote-D.T.P.)

1. You press button 1 on the UFR2 remote control and hold it down.
2. While holding button 1, press button 2 consecutively 3 times, then release the buttons. The LED lamp on the UFR2 will begin to flash slowly, indicating that the remote control is in copy mode.
3. Place the original remote control in front of the UFR2.
4. Press and hold the button on the original remote that you want to copy. until the UFR2 LED starts flashing rapidly.
5. While the LED on the UFR2 is flashing, press the button on the UFR2 you want to write the code to. The LED on the UFR2 will light up steadily, then turn off.
6. Stand in front of the receiver and apply the procedure for direct programming of remote controls.
7. The direct copy procedure is as follows: Press the button of the UFR2 already recorded for more than 6 seconds. The LED on the UFR2 starts to blink quickly, then goes out.
8. Remote controls that can be copied in this way are marked D.T.P in the list of remote control brands at the end of these instructions.

Copy rolling code remote controls that require a secret code to be sent to the receiver

1. You press button 1 on the UFR2 remote control and hold it down.

2. While holding button 1, press button 2 consecutively 3 times, then release the buttons. The LED lamp on the UFR2 will begin to flash slowly indicating that the remote control is in copy mode.

3. Place the original remote control in front of the UFR2.

4. Press and hold the button on the original remote that you want to copy. until the UFR2 LED lights up steadily.
   Then release the button on the original remote control and wait until the UFR2 LED starts flashing slowly.

5. Press the hidden button on the original remote control to send the secret code and wait until the UFR2 LED starts flashing quickly.

6. Press the button on the UFR2 on which you want to write the code. The LED on the UFR2 will be on steady, wait until the LED turns off. Thus, the copying procedure is completed.

7. Transmit the secret code to the original remote by pressing buttons 1 and 2 simultaneously for about 3 seconds.
   The LED on the UFR2 will start flashing rapidly, then press and hold the button on the UFR2 that you wrote the code on until the LED turns off.

8. Go to the front of the receiver and follow the original procedure for adding new remote controls.

GENERATION OF REMOTE

The original remote control does not need to be available (this instruction is only used to generate original remote controls that are shown in the CODE TABLE, and you need to check beforehand if the remote control you want to generate is in this table.)

1. Press and hold the 1 and 4 buttons of the UFR2 remote control for 3 seconds, the LED lamp of the UFR2 will start flashing quickly.
2. Enter the button code corresponding to the model of the original remote you want to generate according to the CODE TABLE given below, then the LED lamp of UFR2 will start flashing fast AGAIN.
3. For up to 10 seconds, press and hold the button on the UFR2 remote you want to generate on until the LED lights up, then off. In this way, the UFR2 remote control is already generated with the information of the original remote control whose code you entered. For remote control models that do not require a secret code to be sent, proceed to point 5 of this instruction. For remote controls that require a secret code to be sent, proceed to the next point 4 of this instruction.
4. Submit a secret code request. In this case, you need to stand in front of the receiver to get the secret code from it. Press buttons 1 and 2 simultaneously for about 3 seconds. The LED on the UFR2 will start flashing rapidly. According to the original procedure (for adding remote controls), on the remote control you generated, press the corresponding button on the receiver, which will light up an LED. Then press and hold the UFR2 button you wrote the code on until the UFR2 LED goes out. After about 5 seconds, press the button on the UFR2 that you wrote the code on again and wait for the LED on the UFR2 to turn off, then the LED on the receiver will start flashing. Wait until it goes out.
5. Go to the front of the receiver and follow the original procedure for adding new remote controls. Note that in the procedure for generating the UFR2 remotes, you must use the part of the original instructions that is for using the buttons on the receiver.

CODE TABLE FOR GENERATION OF REMOTE CONTROLS

Remote control generation example: According to point 2, if you want to generate BFT, the button code is 1211.
Therefore, you need to press:

1. button 1
2. button 2
3. button 1
4. Button 1
