- Install in accordance with these instructions only. Do not attempt to modify or alter this product. After installation, check your grab bar periodically to ensure all screws are tight. Retighten if loose.
- Mount the grab bar(s) to a secure surface. The manufacture will not accept responsibility for any injury or any damages cause by the lack of wall strength or improper installation.
- All screws must be mounted directly and firmly into a wood stud. Locate the middle of the stud by using a stud finder or other stud finding method (Studs are usually 16″ on center).
- Follow instructions along with line drawings in the Amazon Basics installation guide.

Installation
Step 1: Remove Grab Bar Covers
- IMPORTANT: Remember to mount all screws firmly into a wood stud. Use a stud finder to locate the center point of the stud. Studs are usually 16 inches on center.
- Loosen the grab bar covers from the base by gently twisting and tapping from the bottom of the mounting base.
Step 2: Locate Stud(s) And Position Grab Bar
- Use a stud finder to locate the center point of the stud. Studs are usually 16 inches on center.
- Using a level, place the grab bar on the wall in your desired location. Ensure that the mounting holes are positioned over a wood stud.
Step 3: Mark Mounting Location
- Using a pencil, mark the screw mounting locations.
Step 4: Drill Screw Mounting Holes
- Place grab bar aside and drill pilot holes as marked by your penciled locations.
IMPORTANT
Ensure holes are drilled into wood stud.
Step 5: Mount Grab Bar
- Mount the grab bar using a Philips screw driver. Ensure that the screws are tightly fastened into a wood stud.
- Slide the grab bar covers overtop the mounting plates and snap them into place. If desired, apply Silicon sealant or caulk to the backside of grab bar covers to prevent water infiltration.
