Product Usage Instructions

Before using the Cordless Hand Mixer, please read the following instructions carefully:

  2. To protect against the risk of electrical shock, avoid putting the Motor in contact with water or any other liquid.
  3. Before using the hand mixer for the first time, charge the Battery using the adapter specified by the manufacturer.
  4. To attach or detach beaters or accessories, make sure the Cordless Hand Mixer is switched off.
  5. When cleaning the hand mixer, always disconnect the Battery and remove the beaters or accessories before washing. Refer to the Care and Cleaning section in the manual for detailed instructions on cleaning the surfaces in contact with food.
  6. Before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the appliance, always disconnect the Battery to prevent accidental starting.
  7. Ensure the switch is in the off position before connecting the Battery, picking up, or carrying the appliance to prevent unintentional starting or accidents.
  8. Only use the adapter specified by the manufacturer for recharging the Battery. Using an incompatible adapter may create a risk of fire.
  9. Use the Cordless Hand Mixer only with the KitchenAid 12V Battery provided. Using any other Batteries may result in injury or fire.
  10. To prevent shorting of the Battery terminals, keep the Battery away from metal objects like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small metal objects.
  11. Avoid contact with liquid ejected from the Battery. In case of accidental contact, flush with water and seek medical help if it contacts the eyes.
  12. Do not use a damaged or modified Battery or appliance as it may lead to unpredictable behavior, fire, explosion, or risk of injury.
  13. Follow all charging instructions and avoid charging the Battery or appliance outside the specified temperature range to prevent damage and reduce the risk of fire.
  14. Do not attempt to service a damaged Battery. Contact the manufacturer or authorized service providers for any necessary repairs.
  15. Allow the appliance to cool completely before attaching or detaching parts and cleaning.

  4. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  5. Turn the appliance off, before assembling or disassembling parts and before cleaning. To unplug the adapter, grasp the adapter and pull from the power source. Never pull from the power cord.
  6. Do not use an extension cord. Plug adapter directly into an electric outlet.
  7. Do not modify or attempt to repair the appliance or the Battery.
  8. Do not incinerate this appliance even if it is severely damaged. The batteries can explode in a fire.
  9.  Avoid contacting moving parts. Keep hands, hair clothing, as well as spatulas and other utensils away from beaters and accessories during operation to reduce the risk of injury to persons or damage to the Cordless Hand Mixer.
  10. Do not operate any appliance or USB Adapter with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest Authorised Service Centre for examination, repair or adjustment.
  11. The use of accessories/attachments not recommended or sold by KitchenAid may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
  12. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter.
  13. Never leave the appliance unattended while it is in operation.
  14. Do not let cord contact hot surface, including the stove.
  15. Remove beaters or accessories from the Cordless Hand Mixer before washing.
  16. Refer to the “Care and Cleaning” section for instructions on cleaning the surfaces in contact with food.
  17. Disconnect the Battery from the appliance before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing appliance. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the appliance accidentally.
  18. Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to the Battery, picking up or carrying the appliance. Carrying the appliance with your finger on the switch or energizing appliance that have the switch ON invites accidents.
  19. Recharge only with the adapter specified by the manufacturer. The adapter that is suitable for one type of Battery may create a risk of fire when used with another Battery.
  20. Use appliances only with KitchenAid 12 V Battery. Use of any other Batteries may create a risk of injury and fire.
  21. When the Battery is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the Battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
  22. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the Battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the Battery may cause irritation or burns.
  23. Do not use a Battery or appliance that is damaged or modified. Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable behaviour resulting in fire, explosion or risk of injury.
  24. Do not expose a Battery or appliance to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure to fire or temperature above 129°C may cause explosion.
  25. Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the Battery or appliance outside of the temperature range specified in the instructions. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside of the specified range may damage the Battery and increase the risk of fire.
  26. Never service damaged Battery. Service of Battery should only be performed by the manufacturer or authorised service providers.
  27. Allow the appliance to cool completely before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
  28. Do not use Cordless Hand Mixer in rain or wet conditions. Do not expose to rain—store indoors.
  29. Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
  30. Do not operate Hand Mixer continuously for more than 5 minutes.
  31. Empty Batteries should be removed from the appliance and safely disposed.
  32. If the appliance is stored for a long period, the Batteries should be removed.
  33. If the Battery leaks, remove the Battery from the appliance and do not use the Battery again.
  34. Rechargeable Batteries are to be removed from the appliance before being charged.
  35. IMPORTANT: Use only with approved USB Adapter by market.
  36. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:

  • NOTE: If the adapter does not fit fully in the outlet, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the adapter in any way.
  • Do not use or store Battery or products in locations where the temperature is less than 10°C or more than 40°C.

LITHIUM-ION BATTERY OPERATED PRODUCT DISPOSAL
Always dispose the Battery operated products according to federal, state, and local regulations. Contact a recycling agency in your area for recycling locations.

GETTING STARTED

BEFORE FIRST USE

  1. Charge the Battery until it is fully charged.
  2. Clean all the parts and accessories (see “Care and Cleaning” section).
  3. Remove all packaging materials, if present.

NOTE: Some dust may be on the product. This is due to the recycled materials used in packaging. This can be cleaned with a soft towel.

BATTERY CHARGING

USING THE USB CABLE

  1. Attach the USB Cable to the adapter. Connect the other end of the USB Cable to the Battery.
  2. Plug the adapter into a power source.

PRODUCT ASSEMBLY

  1. IMPORTANT: Make sure that the Speed Controller is at “O” position before attaching and removing Stainless Steel Turbo Beater II accessories.
  2. There are two Stainless Steel Turbo Beater II accessories. One is without a collar and another with a collar.
  3. Insert the Stainless Steel Turbo Beater II accessories without a collar into the smaller opening and Stainless Steel Turbo Beater II accessories with a collar into the larger opening. Align and push to lock into place. Both the Stainless Steel Turbo Beater II accessories will click in.

PRODUCT USAGE
NOTE: Make sure the Battery is fully charged before use.

  1. Insert the Battery into the Battery slot located at the back of the appliance.
  2. The LED will light and display the Battery level for five seconds, then turn off.
  3. Always start mixing at the lowest speed, and by sliding the Speed Controller, increase the speed according to the recipes.
  4. To increase the speed, slide the Speed Controller forward ( ). To decrease the speed, slide the Speed Controller backward ( ).
  5. When finished, slide the Speed Controller to “O” position.
  6. Press and hold the Battery Unlock Button to remove the Battery.

CARE AND CLEANING

IMPORTANT: Allow the appliance to cool completely before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
IMPORTANT: Make sure the Speed Controller is at “O” position before attaching or removing Stainless Steel Turbo Beater II accessories. Remove the Battery before cleaning.

  1. Press the Eject Button to release the Stainless Steel Turbo Beater II accessories from the Cordless Hand Mixer.
  2. Always remove the Stainless Steel Turbo Beater II accessories from the Cordless Hand Mixer before cleaning. The beaters can be washed in the dishwasher or by hand in warm, soapy water. Rinse and wipe dry.
  3. Wipe the Cordless Hand Mixer with a damp cloth. Dry with a soft cloth.
    NOTE: To avoid damage to the Cordless Hand Mixer, do not immerse in water.
