Product Information

The product is a KitchenAid dishwasher. It is designed to efficiently clean dishes and utensils. The dishwasher has various features and options, including Hi Temp Wash, Sani Rinse, Heat Dry Extended, 2-4-8 Hr Delay, ProWash, Tough, Normal, Express Wash, and Rinse Only cycles. The dishwasher also includes a third rack with wash tubes and a third-level utensil rack for additional loading capacity. The dishwasher is equipped with a maintenance- free filter system that does not require regular cleaning or maintenance.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before installing or operating the dishwasher, read the Important Safety Instructions and Installation Instructions provided in the user manual.
  2. Register your product by scanning the Photo Registration Card or QR code found on the product’s serial tag. This will grant you access to warranty information and important notifications related to your product.
  3. Ensure the dishwasher is completely installed before use and do not push down on the open door, as it can result in serious injury or cuts.
  4. Add detergent and rinse aid to the dishwasher as needed. Select additional options such as Hi Temp Wash, Sani Rinse, Heat Dry Extended, or 2-4-8 Hr Delay based on your preferences.
  5. Prepare and load the dishwasher following the recommended loading pattern for a 12-place setting. Make sure all arms spin freely by checking for any blockage caused by items in the rack.
  6. Select the desired cycle for your load from the available options : ProWash, Tough, Normal, Express Wash, or Rinse Only. Note that not all cycles, options, and features may be available on all models.
  7. To start or resume a cycle, close the dishwasher door within 4 seconds for top control models. The Start/Resume button can be used to initiate or continue the selected cycle.
  8. To cancel a cycle, press the Cancel button. To drain the dishwasher, press the Drain button.
  9. For user maintenance, the dishwasher is equipped with a maintenance-free filter system. However, if the foreign object cup located in the front and below the lower rack fills up with particles or objects, depress the tab in the center and pull up on the cup to remove it. Dispose of the contents and then replace the cup by putting it into the opening and pushing down to lock it in place.

  1. Prepare and Load the Dishwasher (12 Place Setting Recommended Loading Pattern)
  2. Add Detergent and Rinse Aid (as needed) to the Dishwasher
  3. Check that All Arms Spin Freely (Items in the rack can block the spray arms.)
  4. Select the desired Cycle for your load.
  5. Select Additional Options.
  6. Start / Resume Cycle. Close the door within 4 seconds for top control models.

USER-MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

Filter Cleaning
The pump is protected from large objects entering it by the foreign object cup in the front and below the lower rack. The maintenance free filter system does not require any regular cleaning or maintenance. If this cup fills up with particles or objects, depress the tab in the center and pull up on the cup to remove it. Dispose of the contents and then replace the cup. To replace the cup, put into the opening and push down to lock in place.
