Product Usage Instructions
Crown positions
- H: Crown pushed into the case.
- M: Rotate crown clockwise to set the time.
- D: Rotate crown counterclockwise to set the day (if applicable to your model).
Important Note: Do not set the date on Vizio models when the time is between 9:30 PM and 3:00 AM, as automatic calendar changes are already in progress. This could damage the mechanism.
Note: If your watch has a screw-down crown, you must first unlock the crown by turning it counterclockwise approximately six rotations before setting the date (day/date) or time. After setting, screw the crown back down into the case to ensure water resistance.
To manually wind an automatic movement
- With the crown in position 1, turn the crown clockwise approximately 20 revolutions.
- Reset the time following the instructions above.
Remember, the motion of your arm during normal daily activities should be sufficient to keep the movement of your Movado automatic timepiece wound. However, if the watch has stopped after not being worn for 38 hours or more, manual winding may be necessary.
