FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION INTERFERENCE STATEMENT
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class
B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are
designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a
residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the
instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However,
there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular
installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or
television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and
on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more
of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/ TV technician for help.
FCC regulations restrict the operation of this device to indoor use only.
The operation of this device is prohibited on oil platforms, cars, trains,
boats, and aircraft, except that operation of this device is permitted in
large aircraft while flying above 10,000 feet.
Operation of transmitters in the 5.925-7.125 GHz band is prohibited for
control of or communications with unmanned aircraft systems.
CAUTION:
Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the grantee of this
device could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to
the following two conditions:
- this device may not cause harmful interference, and
- this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
RF Exposure Information (SAR)
This device meets the government’s requirements for exposure to radio waves.
This device is designed and manufactured not to exceed the emission limits for
exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy set by the Federal Communications
Commission of the U.S. Government.
The exposure standard employs a unit of measurement known as the Specific
Absorption Rate or SAR. The SAR limit set by the FCC is 1.6 W/kg. Tests for
SAR are conducted using standard operating positions accepted by the FCC with
the EUT transmitting at the specified power level in different channels.
The FCC has granted an Equipment Authorization for this device with all
reported SAR levels evaluated as in compliance with the FCC RF exposure
guidelines. SAR information on this device is on file with the FCC and can be
found under the Display Grant section of
www.fcc.gov/eot/ea/fccid after searching on
FCC ID: HLZMT7922A22M
Canada, ISED notice:
This device contains license-exempt transmitter(s)/receiver(s) that comply
with Innovation, Science, and Economic Development Canada’s license-exempt
RSS(s). Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
- This device may not cause interference.
- This device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device.
Radio Frequency (RF) Exposure Information
The radiated output power of the Wireless Device is below the Innovation,
Science, and Economic Development Canada radio frequency exposure limits. The
Wireless Device should be used in such a manner that the potential for human
contact during normal operation is minimized.
This device has been evaluated for and shown compliant with the IC Specific
Absorption Rate (“SAR”) limits when operated in portable exposure conditions.
This device is for indoor use only when operated in the frequency band 5150
~5250 MHz
Caution:
Users should also be advised that:
- the device for operation in the band 5150‐5250 MHz is only for indoor use to reduce the potential for harmful interference to co‐channel mobile satellite systems;
- the maximum antenna gain permitted for devices in the bands 5250‐5350 MHz and 5470‐5725 MHz shall comply with the e.i.r.p. limit; and
- the maximum antenna gain permitted for devices in the band 5725‐5825 MHz shall comply with the e.i.r.p. limits specified for point‐to‐point and non-point-to-point operation as appropriate. High‐power radars are allocated as primary users (i.e. priority users) of the bands 5250‐5350 MHz and 5650‐5850 MHz and these radars could cause interference and/or damage to LE‐LAN devices.
CE RED Compliance Statement
-
Simplified DoC statement
Hereby, Acer Incorporated declares that the radio equipment type N21H1 Notebook Computer is in compliance with Directive 2014/53/EU.
The full text of the EU declaration of conformity is available at the following internet address: www.acer.com. -
UNII device: The device is restricted to indoor use only when operating in the 5150 to 5350 MHz frequency range.

RF Exposure Information (SAR):
This device meets the EU requirements (2014/53/EU) on the limitation of exposure of the general public to electromagnetic fields by way of health protection.
The limits are part of extensive recommendations for the protection of the general public. These recommendations have been developed and checked by independent scientific organizations through regular and thorough evaluations of scientific studies. The unit of measurement for the European Council’s recommended limit for mobile devices is the “Specific Absorption Rate” (SAR), and the SAR limit is 2.0 W/Kg averaging over 10 grams of body tissue. It meets the requirements of the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP).
For next-to-body operation, this device has been tested and meets the ICNRP exposure guidelines and the European Standard EN 50566 and EN 62209-2. SAR is measured with the device directly contacted to the body while transmitting at the highest certified output power level in all frequency bands of the mobile device.
