SONODYNE DOC80015 Malhar High Fidelity Wireless Stereo Speaker
Product Information
The Malhar is a high fidelity stereo wireless music system. It features Bluetooth, Optical and USB inputs plus a stereo line level input. The supplied remote control features power, volume, input selection, mute as well as play/pause, previous and next functions of the USB player. A 5V DC USB socket allows charging of smartphone while streaming music.
The Malhar consists of two powerful 5″ woofers specially designed for deep bass capability, mounted in a bass-reflex enclosure. The woofers are augmented by two 5″ passive radiators on either side. These passive radiators assist the woofer in reproducing deep bass notes. Conventional bass-reflex enclosures rely on vents which cause chuffing noise caused due to air being pushed in and out of vents. Moreover, the limitation on the maximum opening of the vents causes the lower cut-off frequency to change with power levels. The woofers are driven by a high power 2 channel Class-D amplifier. There are 2 separate 1″ dome tweeters with neodymium magnet which ensure smooth, wide and extended high frequency response.
