Product Information

The MCA-30860R is a dual-output distribution amplifier designed for use in multi-dwelling environments such as hospitals, apartment complexes, and hotels. It is manufactured by Netceed, a global leader in distribution, logistics, technical engineering, and product design with over 30 years of expertise in the telecommunications and broadband industry.

The MCA-30860R has a 30dB gain and a bandwidth of 860MHz, allowing for the effective transmission of large volumes of data within the CATV network. It comes with an unbalanced splitter (5030dBmV outputt) preinstalled in the unit and a balanced splitter (50/50dBmV output) included in the box. The built-in equalizer and attenuator provide increased flexibility and easy adjustment of the signal output.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Open the unit by unscrewing the 6 screws on the top of the unit.
  2. Remove the top cover.
  3. Locate the splitter inside the unit.
  4. Pull the splitter straight up to remove it (refer to the illustration).
  5. Take the alternative splitter included in the box and place it in the exact location where the previous splitter was removed.
  6. Securely replace the top cover of the unit.
  7. Tighten the 6 screws on the top of the unit to secure the cover.

Changing the MCA-30860R Splitter

The Multicom MCA-30860R comes with an unbalanced splitter (50/30dBmV output), preinstalled in the unit, and a balanced splitter (50/50dBmV output), in the box.

To change the splitter follow these instructions:

  1. Open the unit by unscrewing the 6 screws on the top of the unit
  2. Open the top
  3. Pull the splitter straight up (see illustration)
  4. Replace the alternative splitter in the exact location
  5. Replace the top of the unit and screws securely
