CHIAYO DR-5100M UHF 2-Way Sync Receiver Module
Product Information
The SDR-5100M and SDR-5200M are UHF 2-Way Sync Receiver Modules manufactured by CHIAYO ELECTRONICS CO., LTD. These receiver modules are designed to receive audio signals from corresponding transmitters. They feature an IR sensor area, channel indicator, diversity A/B indicator, audio signal indicator, channel select/scan buttons, IrDA synchronizing button, squelch control, and power switch/volume control.
The receiver modules use IrDA technology to synchronize with the transmitters. The channel LED displays the last stored frequency and channel information. The modules operate within the UHF frequency range and offer a reliable and interference-free operation.
INSTRUCTION
SDR-5100/5200M IrDA UHF 2-Way Sync Receiver Module
SDR-5100/5200M IrDA receiver module
- Channel indicator
- Diversity A/B indicator
- Audio signal indicator
- IR sensor area
- Channel Select/Scan buttons
- IrDA synchronizing button
- Squelch control
- Power switch/volume control
Verify channel and frequency in use
The channel LED will show the last stored frequency and channel. For example,
if channel 36 is 608.750MHz, the LED will first display 60,87,50 and 36 in
sequence.
Select a channel that corresponds to the transmitter. When the transmitter is turned on, either the A or B diversity indicator will light up to indicate that it is connected.
Changing CHANNEL
- Press the LEFT button to increase the TENS-digit channel number.
- Press the RIGHT button to increase the UNIT-digit channel number.
CHANNEL scanning
For an interference-free operation, a cleaner channel might be necessary if
the current one receives too much interference. Before scanning, the
transmitter must be switched off.
- Press and hold either channel button for 3 seconds
- The receiver will find and locate a clear, interference-free channel.
SQUELCH (SQ) setting
When interference is encountered try reducing the sensitivity of the receiver
by turning the SQ control clockwise, thus less susceptible to interference. If
this still does not solve the problem it means this frequency is not suitable.
Adjust the squelch back to where it was and use the scan function to locate a
clear, interference-free channel.
Channel synchronizing between receiver and transmitter
Align infrared areas of the receiver and transmitter within 10~30cm.
Changing the receiver’s channel
- Press the synchronizing button of the transmitter.
- The transmitter’s LED will grow to denote the synchronizing signal transmitted.
- The channel number on the receiver’s LED will become the same as the transmitter’s, which means the receiver has been successfully synchronized.
Changing the transmitter’s channel
- Press the SYNC button on the receiver.
- The transmitter’s LED will grow to denote the synchronizing signal received.
- The channel number on the transmitter’s LCD will become the same as the receiver’s, which means the transmitter has been successfully synchronized.
If it doesn’t work check that you have the IR sensor panels aligned, that they are facing each other, devices are within 10~30cm of each other, and try again.
