M.2 SSD: How to Install the M.2 2280 SSD

Remove both the small screw secured to the M.2 SSD slot A screw hole and the pre-installed thermal plate.

Carefully insert the M.2 SSD into slot A
-
Insert the tab on the thermal plate into the slit near the connector, then secure the thermal plate and M.2 SSD in place with the previously removed screw.
Memory Installation: SO-DIMM DDR4

Carefully insert SO-DIMM memory modules.

Push down null the modules click into place.

Carefully insert SO-DIMM memory modules.

Push down until the modules click into place.
Wireless Module: How to Safely Remove the Module

Disconnect the two antennas by manually liting off the clips that hold them in place.

Remove the screw in the middle

Carefully pull the wireless module from the slot.
VESA Bracket
-
Attach the screws provided on the underside of the BRIX s Extreme
-
Attach the VESA mounting plate to the rear of a compactible display using the screws provided.

The BRIX s Extreme can now be mounted by sliding the device into place.
BRIX s Extreme Support Additional SATA 6Gbps HDD: How to Install 2.5” HDD
Unscrew and remove the HDD bracket, and then disconnect the SATA cable.
Screw the HDD and the bracket together with the four screws provided and
connect the HDD with the SATA cable.
NOTE: Dual M.2 SSD Upgrade kit can be purchased additionally.
Install the upgrade kit board onto the bottom panel using the four screws
provided, then connect the cable included in the upgrade kit to the upgrade
kit board.
Connect the other end of the cable to the SATA connector on the motherboard.
Reinstall the bracket with HDD to bottom panel.
BRIX s Extreme Support LAN/COM/M.2 Upgrade Kit: How to Install LAN/COM/M.2 Kit
Unscrew and remove the bracket, and then disconnect the SATA cable
Install the upgrade kit board onto the bottom panel using the four screws
provided, then connect the cable included in the upgrade kit to the upgrade
kit board.
Connect the other end of the cable to the SATA connector on the motherboard.
Reinstall the bracket with upgrade kit to bottom panel.
USB Power On Function : Allows Device Power-on Via USB. Useful When Mounted Behind a Display or TV

Press “Del” during device start up to enter BIOS.

Select “Chipset” from the menu.

Manually configure “USB S5 Wakeup Support” settngs to “Enable”

Press F4 to Save and Exit.
NOTE: ‘USB Power On’ functionality in Windows requires an additional Windows patch. This is provided on GIGABYTE’s official website labeled ‘USB Power-On Patch’. Your GIGABYTE BRIX can be powered on via a connected USB device such as a keyboard or mouse, offering greater convenience when mounted behind a display or monitor
