SINEMASTER 230V ATS-UNIT Boxed ATS System
Product Information
The SINEMASTER Automatic Changeover Switch is available in two variants:
- SINEMASTER 230V Automatic Changeover Switch (EAN: 6438014342627)
- SINEMASTER 400V Automatic Changeover Switch (EAN: 6438014342634)
This product is designed to provide automatic switching between a main power supply and a generator for emergency power supply.
Product Usage Instructions
Operation Steps
- Use the cable to connect the ATS box to the generator control panel.
- Switch the electric door lock to the OFF position for diesel generators, or the ON position for gasoline generators.
Automatic Portion Setup
Press the AUTO button to activate the automatic mode. The AUTO indicator light will turn on, indicating that the ATS system is operating automatically.
ATS System Working
When the ATS system is operating automatically, it will open the air damper control and start the generator if the mains power supply is off.
Battery Maintenance
The ATS system will automatically charge the battery with a current of 2A.
ATS Access to Power System Diagram
The ATS system connects to the city power and the original family uses a power supply system through an air switch.
Circular Connector Wiring
The wiring requirements for different generator capacities are as follows:
- For 3KW-6KW Diesel generators, use a six-core cable.
- For 3KW-6KW Gasoline generators, use an eight-core cable.
- For 6-10KW generators, use an eight-core cable.
Wiring Diagram
The wiring diagram depends on the type of generator:
- For single-phase, single-voltage generators, use the joint for connecting the generator control panel.
- For three-phase generators, use the joint for connecting the generator control panel.
- For single-phase & three-phase generators, use the joint for connecting the generator control panel.

PRODUCT INSTRUCTION
- ATS system is designed for the main power supply off and start the generator for emergency power supply.
- When the mains power supply is off, the generator will start in 2-6 seconds, and then supply power to load. When the main power supply is on, the ATS system will automatically transfer the switch to the main power supply and then stop the generator in 2-6 seconds.
- This system uses SCM core and digital techniques to control and manage the automatic working system.
- Easy installation and operation
- Automatic working without people inspection. When the transfer is broken the system will remain an error record and indicate the engineer to inspect and re-set up. Don’t worry about the mains power supply and generator power supply action same time.
- There is a battery charger inside and charges the battery of the generator automatically.
OPERATION STEPS
Use the cable to connect the ATS box to the generator control panel, and
switch the electric door lock to the “OFF” position. (Only for diesel
generators, for gasoline generators please switch to the “ON” position)
Automatic portion setup
Press the AUTO button, the indicator light AUTO will be on, ATS system will
work automatically.
ATS system working
When the ATS system works automatically, if the mains power supply is off, the
ATS system will automatically open the air damper control start the generator
in 2 seconds, and wait until the generator runs 5 seconds, the system will
switch the load to the generator power supply.
The ATS system starts 3 times
When the generator can not start well, the ATS system will start the generator
circularly 3 times as below Mains power supply off→generator start 3 seconds
first time→start unsuccessfully and wait 5 seconds→generator start 4 seconds
second time→start unsuccessfully and wait 5 seconds→generator start 5 seconds
third time
NOTICE: When the generator can not start successfully in 3 times, the
indicator light “FAULT” will be on.
Generator stop
When the mains power supply is on again, the ATS system will transfer the load
to the mains power supply and the generator will stop after running 5 seconds
without load.
Manual start
If you don’t need the ATS system to work automatically, please put the switch
in the “MANUAL” position.
Automatic air damper control
If the generator has air damper control, when the generator starts, the ATS
system will automatically open it and close it after the generator starts
successfully.
Battery maintenance
ATS system will charge the battery automatically,the charge current is 2A.

Notice
- ATS power must be bigger than load power.
- Must add an AIR-BREAKER to protect the ATS system, when you connect the main power cable to the ATS box.
- Must switch the electric door lock to the OFF position. (Only for diesel generators, for gasoline generators please switch to the ON position)
- Please run the generator successfully at the “OFF” position first, then you can use “AUTO” to work automatically.
- Please turn the air-breaker switch to the “ON” position when using the ATS system.
- Only an electrician can open the box for inspection and repair, there is high voltage danger.
