Your product is guaranteed for a period of 36 months from the original date of purchase. If a product is defective it will be replaced in accordance with the terms of this warranty. Warranty excludes consumable parts, for example: valve adapters and accessories. This product is intended for DIY use only and replacement warranty covers domestic use.

SETUP & PREPARATION

ACCESSORIES

WARNING! ENSURE THE TOOL IS TURNED OFF AND DISCONNECTED FROM THE COMPRESSOR BEFORE PERFORMING ANY OF THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS.

Connecting to the Air Compressor
The Male Nitto Connectors can be attached and left on the Blow Gun, Air Chuck, Air Impact Wrench, Air Ratchet, & Air Chisel for quick and easy changes between tools.

  1. Wrap Thread Seal Tape clockwise about the threads of a Male Nitto Connector.
  2. On the desired air tool, remove the black plastic cap from the Air Inlet. If there is no cap, move on to Step 3.
  3. Attach the Male Nitto Connector to the Air Inlet of the desired tool.
  4. On the free end of the air hose, pull back the sleeve on the Female Coupler and insert the Connector attached in the previous step.

WARNING! THE AIR IMPACT WRENCH, AIR RATCHET, AND AIR CHISEL ARE RATED TO 90PSI. ENSURE YOUR COMPRESSOR IS SET NO HIGHER THAN 90PSI WHEN USING THESE TOOLS.

Attaching Sockets to the Air Impact Wrench

  1. Push the desired Socket onto the Socket Adaptor until it clicks into place.
  2. To remove the Socket, simply pull the Socket off the Socket Adaptor on the tool
    Note: The Air Impact Wrench should only be used with impact sockets. Standard sockets may shatter and break.

Attaching Sockets to the Air Ratchet

  1. Press the 3/8”-1/2” Adaptor onto the Socket Retainer of the Ratchet.
    Note: The Extension Bar can be attached in addition to the 3/8”- 1/2” Adaptor if more reach is required.

  2. Push the desired Socket into the 3/8”-1/2” Adaptor until it clicks into place.

  3. To remove the Socket or Adaptor, simply pull it off the Socket Retainer on the tool.
    Note: The Air Ratchet should only be used with impact sockets. Standard sockets may shatter and break.

Attaching Hex Drive Bits to the Ratchet

  1. Press the Bit Holder onto the Socket Retainer of the Ratchet.
  2. Push the desired Hex Drive Bit into the Bit Holder until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove the Bit or Bit Holder, simply pull it off the Socket Retainer on the tool.

Installing Chisels in the Air Chisel

  1. Screw the Quick Change Spring onto the front end of the Air Chisel.
  2. Pull back the free end of the spring and slide the desired Chisel into the hole.
  3. To remove the Chisel, pull back the free end of the Spring and slide the Chisel out.
    Note: Alternatively, the Chisel may be placed into the chuck on the Air Chisel before attaching the Quick Change Spring.

CONTROLS

Rotation Direction for the Air Impact Wrench

  1. Push the Forward/Reverse Button towards the front of the tool for forward movement.
  2. Push the Forward/Reverse Button towards the back of the tool for backwards movement.

Rotation Direction for the Air Ratchet

  1. Turn the Forward/Reverse Button anti-clockwise for forward rotation.
  2. Turn the Forward/Reverse Button clockwise for reverse rotation.

Air Flow Regulation
Air flow regulation can be controlled on the Air Impact Wrench and Air Chisel. This alters the rotation rate of the tool.

  1. To restrict the air flow, push in and turn the Air Flow Regulator Valve on the tool anti-clockwise to a lower setting.
    Note: There are four air settings.

Turning the Tool On

1. Depress the On/Off Trigger to turn the tool on.
2. To turn off the tool, release the On/Off Trigger.

BLOWGUN

WARNING! NEVER POINT THE NOZZLE OF AN ACCESSORY TOWARDS ANY PART OF YOUR BODY OR TOWARDS ANOTHER PERSON OR ANIMAL.
WARNING! ALWAYS WEAR EYE PROTECTION WHEN USING AIR TOOLS. TAKE CARE NOT TO BLOW DIRT OR OTHER LOOSE PARTICLES TOWARDS YOURSELF OR OTHER PERSONS.

Spraying Compressed Air
The Blow Gun can be used with the High Pressure Nozzle to direct jets of compressed air at work pieces/surfaces.

  1. Attach the High Pressure Nozzle to the nozzle of the Blow Gun.
  2. Connect the blow gun via the Nitto Connectors to the Air Hose.
  3. Squeeze the Trigger to release compressed air.
    Note: Varying the amount of pressure on the Trigger of the Blow Gun allows you to control the amount of compressed air released through the nozzle.

Inflation Nozzles
Additional nozzles have also been provided for inflating objects with the blow gun. These are suited for the different types of valves commonly found on inflatable objects. The Needle Nozzle is used for footballs, basketballs, soccer balls, etc. The silver Safety Adaptor will need to be used to connect this to the blow gun. The Tapered Nozzle and Rubber Nozzle are used for rubber dinghies, inflatable swimming pools and air beds. The silver Safety Adaptor will need to be used with the Rubber Nozzle.

INFLATING

WARNING! DO NOT INFLATE OBJECTS ABOVE THE RECOMMENDED INFLATION PRESSURE. THIS MAY LEAD TO DAMAGE AND/OR INJURIES.

Inflating Tyres

  1. Follow the instructions in
  2. Assembly (Connecting to the Air Compressor) to connect the Air Chuck to the compressor.
  3. Follow the instructions for operating your compressor. Check that the compressor is set to the correct air pressure for tyre you are trying to inflate.
  4. Press the head of the Air Chuck firmly into the valve stem to form a good seal. Air flowing into the tyre should be heard. Once there is a notable decrease in sound, or the tyre feels firm, remove the Air Chuck.
  5. Press the Tyre Pressure Gauge firmly onto the valve stem to check the tyre pressure. If the desired pressure has not been reached, repeat step 3.

ADDITIONAL ACCESSORIES

Inline Mini Oiler
The Inline Mini Oiler can be used to lubricate the Air Impact Wrench, Air Ratcher, and Air Chisel during prolonged use.
Note: For applications that do not require prolonged use, oil can be directly applied to the inlet of the tool; refer to ‘Lubricating AIr Tools’ in the Maintenance section.

  1. Remove the Phillips head screw from the Oiler and fill the chamber with oil using the supplied Oil Pot.
  2. Replace the screw.
  3. Attach the Inline Mini Oiler between the tool and Male Nitto Connector.

WARNING! DO NOT USE THE INLINE MINI OILER WITH THE BLOW GUN OR AIR CHUCK.

360 Swivel Connector
The 360 Swivel Connector can be used to avoid kinking or bending the hose during operation. We recommend attaching it between the tool and Air Hose.
Note: Apply Thread Seal Tape on the threads to form a good seal between connections.

TROUBLESHOOTING

The impact wrench does not perform effectively.

  • Check that the air inlet is free of any dirt or blockages.
  • Ensure the wrench is lubricated properly.
  • Check that the pressure on the air compressor is within the operating range of the tool. If not, let the compressor repressurise/ refer to the compressor instruction manual.

The air ratchet does not perform effectively.

  • Check that the Forward/Reverse Button is set to the correct direction.
  • Check to see if the ratchet has become jammed. Air leaks and the absence of the ratchet sound are indications that the tool is jammed. Lighly tap the head of the ratchet on the ground or working surface. Alternatively toggle the Forward/Reverse Button.
  • Check that the pressure on the air compressor is within the operating range of the tool. If not, let the compressor repressurise/ refer to the compressor instruction manual.

The air chisel does not perform effectively.

  • Check that the Air Regulator is not fully tightened. Try selecting a higher setting.
  • Check that the Air Inlet is free of any dirt or blockages.
  • Check that the pressure on the air compressor is within the operating range of the tool. If not, let the compressor repressurise/refer to the compressor instruction manual.

MAINTENANCE

APPLIANCE CARE

WARNING! BEFORE CLEANING THE APPLIANCE OR CARRYING OUT ANY MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE, MAKE SURE THAT IT IS DISCONNECTED FROM THE POWER SUPPLY TO PREVENT ACCIDENTAL STARTING.

Cleaning

  1. We recommend that you clean the appliance immediately after you use it.
  2. Keep the safety devices free of dirt and dust as much as possible. Wipe the equipment with a clean cloth.
  3. Clean the appliance regularly with a damp cloth and some soft soap. Do not use cleaning agents or solvents; these may be aggressive to the plastic parts in the appliance. Ensure that no water can get into the interior of the appliance.

Lubricating Air Tools
Oil the impact wrench, chisel and ratchet after each use by placing 4-5 drops of oil through the Air Inlet. Alternatively the Inline Mini Oiler may be used between the air tool and the hose to lubricate the tools during use.

  1. For the Air Impact Wrench, loosen and remove the grub screw in the Oil Inlet with the provided Hex Key. For the Air Ratchet and Air Chisel, hold the tool with the Air Inlet facing up and the On/Off Trigger depressed.
  2. Add 4-5 drops of oil into the Inlet. Replace the grub screw on the Air Impact Wrench.
  3. Connect the tool to the air supply and run the tool for a few seconds with no load.

Storage
Disconnect the accessory from the air compressor. Ensure it is clean and dry. Store the tool in a dry location and make sure that it is secured in such a way that it cannot be started up again by any unauthorised person.
Note: Ozito Industries will not be responsible for any damage or injuries caused by the repair of the tool by an unauthorised person or by mishandling of the tool.

GENERAL AIR TOOL SAFETY WARNINGS

WARNING! Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions
may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
Please read and observe these operating instructions before using the tool. Basic safety measures should always be
strictly followed to protect against damage to the equipment and personal injury to the user or other people working
in the vicinity of operation.

  • Work area safety
    • Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
    • Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
    • Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.
    • Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
    • Check the maximum pressure rating of any tools or accessories that you intend using with the compressor. The output pressure of the air from the compressor must be regulated so that it never exceeds the rated pressure of the tool or accessory.
    • Always wear high safety goggles or glasses when using the air tools. Never point the air tool towards any part of your body or towards another person.
    • Drain the moisture from the tank daily. It will help prevent corrosion.
    • Use safety equipment including safety goggles and ear protection, the tool operator and all persons in the working area must wear safety goggles and ear protection.
    • Air tools should not be used in a potentially explosive environment.
    • The tool must be used only for its prescribed purpose. Any use other than those mentioned in this Manual will be considered a case of misuse. The user and not the manufacturer shall be liable for any damage or injury resulting from such cases of misuse.
  • In the event that an air line is cut or broken, the air supply must be turned off at the compressor. A broken air line which is not supported is extremely dangerous and can whip around very quickly, both with the capability of striking people, and blowing foreign particles into the air.
  • Do not attempt to catch the air line but immediately keep bystanders well clear and turn off the air supply to the hose, turn off the compressor at the On / Off button, and then remove the hose from the compressor.
  • Do not over reach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
  • Do not attempt to modify this tool or install accessories not recommended for use with this tool. Any such in a hazardous condition leading to possible serious personal injury.
  • Do not climb rigging or scaffolding while carrying a tool that is connected to an air hose. Doing so could result in serious personal injury.

PNEUMATIC TOOL SAFETY WARNINGS

WARNING! The appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction. Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
WARNING! Disconnect the tool from the air supply before inspecting the air tool. Failure to do so could result in serious personal injury.

  • Read and understand instruction manual before using. Do not discard the manual and safety instructions.
  • Do not use this product if it is not completely assembled or if any parts appear to be missing or damaged. Use of a product that is not properly and completely assembled could result in serious personal injury.
  • Do not carry tool with finger on the trigger.
  • Disconnect the tool from the air supply before performing maintenance, leaving work area, moving tool to another location, making any adjustments, when not in operation or handing tool to another person. Failure to do so could result in serious personal injury.
  • Clean and inspect the tool daily. Carefully check for proper operation of trigger and safety mechanism.
  • DO NOT use the tool unless the trigger is functional, or if the tool is leaking air or needs any other repair.
  • Be aware that the failure of the work piece, or accessories, or even of the air tool itself, can generate high-velocity projectiles.
  • Air under pressure can cause severe injury.
  • Whipping hoses can cause severe injury. Always check for damaged or loose hoses and fittings.
  • DO NOT exceed the maximum pressure stated on the tool.
  • Never carry an air tool by the hose.
  • Quick connector couplings shall be used for connection to the compressed air system and non-sealable air inlet connector must be fitted at the tool in such a way that no compressed air remains in the tool after disconnection.
  • Air tools shall only be connected to an air supply where the maximum allowable pressure of the tool cannot be exceeded by more than 10%; in the case of higher pressure ,a pressure reducing valve which includes a downstream safety valve shall be built into the compressed air supply.
  • Check prior to each operation that the safety and triggering mechanism is functioning properly and that all nuts and bolts are tight.
  • Do not carry out any alterations to the air tool.
  • Avoid weakening or damaging the tool, for example by:
    • punching or engraving;
    • modification not authorized by the manufacturer;
    • guiding against templates made of hard material such as steel;
    • dropping or pushing across the floor;
    • applying excessive force of any kind..
  • Do not connect tool to pressure that potentially exceeds 150 psi (10.3 bar).
  • Only use clean, dry and regulated compressed air at 6.2 bar (90psi)
  • Only technically skilled operators should use the air tool.
  • Do not overreach. Only use in a safe working place. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
  • Keep bystanders away (when working in an area where there is a likelihood of through traffic of people). Clearly mark off your operating area.
  • Only wear gloves that provide adequate feel and safe control of triggers and any adjusting devices.
  • The tool must be disconnected from the air supply and rested on a flat surface when not in use.
  • Always wear impact-resistant eye protection with side shields during operation of the tool.
  • Appropriate hearing protection shall be worn.
  • The risks to others shall be assessed by the operator.
  • Ensure the tool is correctly lubricated during use. Only use the correct lubricant as specified in this manual.
  • Slips, trips and falls are major causes of workplace injury. Be aware of slippery surfaces caused by use of the tool and also of trip hazards caused by the airline hose.
  • Proceed with additional care in unfamiliar surroundings. Hidden hazards may exist, such as electricity or other utility lines.
  • This tool is not intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres and is not insulated from coming into contact with electric power.
  • Never use oxygen or combustible gases for operating pneumatic tools as this could create a fire and explosion hazard.
  • Do not wear loose-fitting gloves or gloves with cut or frayed fingers.
  • Release the trigger in the case of an interruption to the air supply.

Air Ratchet Warnings:

  • Only use impact rated sockets and accessories with the air ratchet.
  • Keep away from rotating end of tool. Do not wear jewellery or loose clothing. Secure long hair. Scalping can occur if hair is not kept away from tool and accessories. Choking can occur if neckwear is not kept away from tool.
  • Gloves can become entangled with the rotating drive, causing severed or broken fingers.
  • Rotating drive sockets and drive extensions can easily entangle rubber-coated or metal-reinforced gloves.
  • Never hold the drive, socket or drive extension while operating the ratchet.
  • Hold the tool correctly; be ready to counteract normal or sudden movements and have both hands available.
  • The ratchet can provide a sudden torque on the handle when the trigger is operated. Ensure a proper posture and technique is used so that any reaction torque from the handle can be safely supported during use.
  • Do not use in confined spaces and beware of crushing hands between the ratchet and workpiece.

Air Chisel Warnings:

  • Avoid direct contact with the inserted tool as they may get hot during and after use.
  • Never use any chisel as a hand-struck tool. They are specifically designed and heat-treated for use only in air powered hammer chisels.
  • Never cool a hot accessory in water. Brittleness and early failure can occur.
  • Potentially explosive atmospheres can be caused by dust and fumes resulting from sanding or grinding. Always use dust extraction or suppression systems which are suitable for the material being processed.
  • Dust and fumes generated when using sanders can cause ill health. All integral features or accessories for the collection, extraction or suppression of airborne dust or fumes should be correctly used and maintained in accordance with these instructions.
  • Use respiratory protection in accordance with the local health and safety regulations. Always assess the material being processed and take appropriate measures to minimize and/or remove exposure.
  • Prolonged exposure to vibration can cause damage to the nerves and bloody supply of the hands and arms.
  • If you experience numbness, tingling, pain or whitening of the skin in your fingers or hands, stop using the air hammer chisel and seek medical attention.
