Q: Speaker system is connected to TV using the optical cable. There is visible red light through the TV to the speaker base. Why is there no sound?
A: Please make sure that TV (and TV box’s digital audio format) is set to PCM, or that Dolby on TV is OFF. Refer to TV manual or write to us with your TV brand and model for support. -
Q: Base is connected to TV’s headphone jack/red and white RCA audio out jack. All connections checked and battery is confirmed to be fully charged. Why sound cuts in and out?
A: Some TVs require additional settings when external audio systemis connected to the TV’s headphone jack or TV’s red and white RCA ports. Please use TVremote andset your TV’s analog audio to “fixed”. This is especially true with most VIZIOTVmodels. -
Q: Base is connected to TV’s headphone jack. All connections checked and battery full, but there is still no sound?
A: Some TVs require additional settings when external audio system is connected to the TV’s headphone jack. Use TV remote to go to audio out settings, and set the TV speaker properly. For details, refer to TV’s user manual or contact TV manufacturer or seller. -
Q: Can this portable TV speaker work with Streaming Channels (i.e. Netflix, Hulu)?
A: Yes. TV wireless speakers must be connected to TV via digital optical audio out port in order to work with these streaming TV applications. (i.e., Hulu, Netflix, etc.). Please also note that digital audio format must be set to PCM.) -
Q: To watch streaming channels, do I have to connect the transmitter base to the TV’s digital optical audio out port?
A: Some streaming media only provides the sound output on TV’s digital optical audio out ports, analog connection via red and white RCA ports, or headphone jack not possible. -
Q: Will TV Speaker be muted if speaker base is plugged into TV?
A: This actually depends on your TV models and brands. On some TV models, the speakers will be either automatically muted when you plug something into an audio out port (AUX/RCA, etc.) or they become disabled once you choose “External Speakers” as your TV’s audio output. -
