Autel Drop Unit Introduction

Setting up the Drop Unit

Open the latch at the top of the drop unit.
Position the drop unit making sure you have NOT blocked the sensors on the underside of the Drone.
Gently close the latch (as seen below).

Remove the propellor on the front arm. Place 2 rubber bands up the front arm.

Clip the Light Sensor to the LED on the drones arm and thread the wire through the rubber bands to the plug for the light sensor. Plug in light Sensor and replace the propellor. (you can use cable ties instead)
Operating the Drop Unit

to open & close the drop unit’s gate open the Autel App and head into the settings (top right cog icon).

In the “Flight Control” menu select “Advance settings”

On the Advance settings;” switch on (or off) the “Front LED indicator” switch to open (or close) the Drop unit Gate.

Built in battery capacity: 150mAh Charging time 90 Min Aprox 300 drops per charge
Precautions:
Make sure all devices are fully charged, check your drone status and preform a
preflight & drop test, before your flight. Please do not hang oversized items
to avoid flight instability.
Please use the drop unit in a safe, open noninterference situation. Do not
drop objects above other public or private property such as people, cars
buildings, etc., To avoid personal injury, property loss.
