Monitoring Device Visual Indicators
ONAVITAL provides different visual indicators for the user to know the status of the device. Please refer to the user manual for a list of these visual indicators.
Physiological Data, Metrics, and Visualization
Whenever you wear ONAVITAL, it monitors your vital signs and more. It features the following metrics:
- Pulse Rate (Beats per minute)
- Oxygen Saturation (percentage of oxygenated hemoglobin)
- Arterial blood pressure, both systolic and diastolic (millimeters of mercury above)
Please refer to the user manual for more information on how to view and interpret the collected data.
Product Usage Instructions
Getting Started
- Take the ONAVITAL monitoring device out of the box.
- Charge the device for 3 hours using the provided magnetic charge cable.
- Install the ONAVITAL APP on your Android smartphone:
- Download the app from here.
- Open the downloaded ONAVITAL_APP.apk file to install the app.
- Enable the installation of non-signed apps by following your smartphone manufacturer’s instructions.
Pairing and Setup
- Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and ensure a good internet connection.
- Sign in to the ONAVITAL APP using the email and password provided by Onalabs.
- If it’s your first time using the app, accept the permissions for location and Bluetooth usage.
- Bring your smartphone within 3 meters (10 ft.) of the monitoring device.
- The device will automatically pair with the account it is assigned to.
- If the device does not pair:
- Make sure the device you want to pair is assigned to the logged-in account.
- Open the Bluetooth settings on the device and check if the monitoring device appears in the list of available devices. If not, reset the monitoring device (Note: Once paired, the monitoring device will no longer appear in the list).

and operate the ONAVITAL monitoring device.

- The monitoring device.
- A detachable wrist strap.
- The magnetic charge cable.
Getting started
- Take the ONAVITAL monitoring device out of the box and charge it for 3 hours.
- Install the ONAVITAL APP:
- Download it from https://github.com/OnalabsInnoHub/onavital-mobileapp-releases/releases/latest/download/ONAVITAL_APP.apk using your Android smartphone.
- Open the ONAVITAL_APP.apk file to install ONAVITAL APP.
- Enable the installment of non-signed APP. Follow the installment instructions of your smartphone manufacturer.
Pairing and Setup
You can pair ONAVITAL to your smart phone using Bluetooth Low Energy technology and the ONAVITAL APP (available on Android).
- Enable the Bluetooth of the smart phone and ensure a good internet connection.
- Sign in through the APP (use the e-mail and password provided by Onalabs).
- If this is the first time the APP is used, accept the permissions for location and use of Bluetooth for a proper operation of the APP.
- Bring the smart phone within 3 m (10 ft.) of the monitoring device.
- It will automatically pair to the device that is assigned to the account.
- If the device does not pair:
- Make sure the device you want to pair is assigned to the logged in account.
- Open the Bluetooth settings on the device. The monitoring device should appear in the list of available devices, if not please reset de monitoring device
- (NOTE: Once the monitoring device is paired, this will disappear from the list of available devices).
- TIP: Stay 10 m (33 ft.) away from other wireless sensors while pairing.
- The APP will pair to the monitoring device whenever it is open, in range, or running in background.
Placement and operation
- Once the device has been activated, charged, and paired, attach the wrist stap on the monitoring device and place the ONAVITAL monitoring device on your less skilled hand with the lettering facing you.
- ONAVITAL have been designed for ease of use and automation, so no more actions are needed for a proper operation of the device. The monitoring device will autonomously identify when the user is wearing it and provide a visual indicator.
- It can be used 24 hours a day, however it is not submersible, please take off ONA VITAL if you are going to take a shower, swim, etc.
- It will provide a visual indicator when the monitoring device needs to be charged.
Monitoring device visual indicators
ONAVITAL will provide different visual indicators for the user to know the
status of the device.
Here is a list of these visual indicators.
- No light – ONA VITAL needs to be charged.
- Red light – ONA VITAL is working normally.
- Blue light – ONA VITAL is taking measurements and sending them to the APP.
Physiological data, metrics and visualization
Whenever you wear ONAVITAL, it monitors your Vital Signs and more. It features the following metrics:
- Pulse Rate (Beats per minute).
- Oxygen Saturation (percentage of oxygenated hemoglobin).
- Arterial blood pressure, both systolic and diastolic (millimeters of mercury above surrounding atmospheric pressure).
- Skin temperature (Low, Normal, High).
- Activity tracking / Pedometer (number of steps).
- Falls detection.
After it is paired, the monitoring device is able to send you Vital Signs data to your ONAVITAL account whenever the monitor is awake and within range of your smartphone. You can visualize a summary of the data by day, week, or months through the ONAVITAL APP.
*Disclaimer. This parameter refers to Skin Temperature no Body Temperature. Normal values range from 23ºC to 37ºC.
