Getting To Know Your Nutri Ninja®

Using the Nutri Ninja® Cup

For best results when blending drinks or smoothies, press down continuously until desired size and consistency is achieved. For best results when food processing, use short “PULSES” by pushing down on the cup in short, 1 second bursts, until desired consistency is achieved .

IMPORTANT
Make sure that the Power Pod is plugged in for use.

1. Place the Power Pod on a clean, dry, level surface such Bas a counter or table top.

2. Add ingredients to the Nutri Ninja® cup.
   NOTE: Do not overfill! To avoid spilling, do not add ingredients past the “Max Fill” line.

3. Place the Nutri Ninja® blade onto the cup and screw it tightly until a good seal is achieved. (Fig. 1)

4. Turn the Nutri Ninja® cup upside down and place it onto the Power Pod. Press down on the Nutri Ninja® cup to pulse or blend. (Fig. 2, Fig. 3)

5. Once desired consistency is reached, remove pressure

6. Turn the cup upright and remove the Nutri Ninja® blade by twisting the blade assembly counter clockwise.

7. Place the Nutri Ninja® Sip and Seal™ lid onto the Nutri Ninja® cup, twist to seal and enjoy!

8. Make sure that the Power Pod is unplugged when not in use.

Cleaning and Maintenance

HOW TO CLEAN

CAUTION: Make sure that the Power Pod is unplugged from the power source before inserting or removing any attachment and before cleaning.

CAUTION: DO NOT immerse the Power Pod in water or any other liquid.

CAUTION: Use caution when handling the blade assemblies as the blades are very sharp.

1. Separate all parts from each other.
2. Clean the Power Pod with a damp cloth and wipe dry.
3. Place Nutri Ninja® cups, Sip & Seal® lids, and the blade assembly on the top rack of the dishwasher.
4. Carefully hand wash the lids, Nutri Ninja® cup and blade assembly in warm, soapy water with a soft cloth.  If the appliance needs servicing, please call customer service at 1-877-646-5288.

HOW TO STORE

1 Secure the power cord by wrapping the cord around the Power Pod. Store the rest of the components in a safe place where they will not be damaged and will not cause a hazard.

RESETTING THE MOTOR THERMOSTAT

The Nutri Ninja® features a unique safety system which prevents damage to the unit’s motor and drive system should it be inadvertently overloaded. If the appliance is being overloaded, the motor will stop. To reset the appliance, follow the resetting procedure below:

1. Unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet.
2. Remove the cup from the Power Pod, empty the container and ensure that no food is jamming the blade assembly.
3. Allow the appliance to cool for approximately 15 minutes.
4. Refill the cup, place the cup in the Power Pod, and re-plug  the appliance into the electrical outlet.
5. Proceed to use the appliance while making sure not to exceed the recommended maximum capacities.

EURO-PRO Operating LLC warrants this product to be free from material defects and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase when utilized for normal household use, subject to the following conditions, exclusions and exceptions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this blender loud?? Trying not to wake othere in the am!

I use it with towel around it in the morning. it’s loud… not as bad as some. I mostly do not wake the baby that is 10 feet away.

Can this blender chop nuts in a smoothie, if I wanted to add a handful of nuts to it?

Yes it can. It will destroy ice, frozen fruit, nuts, and seeds. Just be sure to hold it down for a few seconds and let it up for a few seconds (basically pulse it with a pause in between) to make sure you get it as blended as you’d like. I love mine. I highly recommend it.

Can this blender chop kale very good?

Extremely well, the ninja can handle anything you put in it. I did a 12 day kale/spinach smoothie cleanse and it was perfect.

Is this easy to open and close/lock in place?

Yes. Very easy.

Is’t am returnable product if I don’t like it?

Yes

Can I chop chicken bones?

We would like to inform you that this blender is not designed to chop bones.

I want to get this to make myself healthy drinks but can I also use this to make make food purée for my baby?

I would say yes. I use mine for smoothies, but it has plenty of power. If tou’re using it to make soft food four baby you should be ok

Does this blender work with other size cups?

We would like to inform you that this blender does not have different size cups.

Does anyone travel with the blender & cup? How portable do you find this?

The base is very easy to move around. I would say it is easy to use for travel. BecUse all you have is the base and cups.

Do these fit other ninja blenders?

Yes these fit other Ninja brand blenders.

How easy to clean?

Very easy. Everything is separate, the blades and the bottle, so it’s simple to keep clean.

Do safety features prevent cup being removed thus exposing active blades in housing? Other brands do not. Is it possible to turn on exposed blades?

We would like to inform you that the Ninja® Personal Blender has safety features in place to prevent the blender from working without a cup on the motor base. The blade cover needs to be screwed on to the cup prior to connecting the cup to the motor base.

Is there a pulse button underneath so I can turn it upside down for my larger container?

Not really sure what you mean by turning it upside down… With this, the blending is activated by pressing the blender container down. There are no buttons which I actually find better and easier for my purposes.

Will this blender work for grinding cashews for vegan cheese dishes?

Yes but you will have to use a lubricator liquid like vegan milk or water. Its NOT a food processor

Does the blade assembly have just 2 blades, 4, or 6?

Four very sharp blades. Shreds ice very quickly

Anyone found a tool (brush or sponge) that works good for cleaning blade assembly on this Ninja Personal blender?

I use warm water filled 1/3 – 1/2 full. Add a little dish soap and run blender again. Rinse with hot water. It takes less than a minute to clean it if you do it as soon as you are finished using it.

Does this blend ice cream shakes well?

YEs It does

How do you clean base unit if liquid has spilled in it ?

Don’t get water in the bottom of the unit where the cooling vents are. (So DON’T SUBMERGE IT!!) But if you lay it on it’s side with the top of the unit hanging over the edge of the sink and use your sink sprayer gently you can rinse the junk out with warm water. There is a seal for the motor shaft that keeps the bottom dry but again DON’T spray up into the bottom of the unit as it will short out the motor and make a mess of the electrical parts. Use great caution with the water.

Is there a food processor attachment available?

An earlier version did have a good processor available. I didn’t search for attachments for this new Ninja.

Can you make ice cream or nice cream in this?

I’m not sure. If you are interest in making ice cream, Ninja makes a device for making ice cream, it’s called a Creami

Does this work well for pureeing carrots?

Any fruits and veggies for perfect smoothies and shakes

Are the cups BPA free?
